Disappointing and Unprofessional Customer Interaction…read more I stopped at this Roberts gas station to purchase a soda and a snack--something I've done many times before, as I am a regular customer. Unfortunately, this visit was a very negative experience due to the behavior of the cashier. When I approached the counter, I greeted the cashier, but received no response. As I was paying with my card, she began giving rapid, commanding instructions while I was already in the process of using the terminal. This became confusing rather than helpful. I calmly told her, "I'm sorry, I can do this--you're just confusing me." After that, the interaction noticeably changed. The cashier became silent and visibly upset. When the payment terminal had issues and needed to be reset--a situation outside of my control--she appeared to blame me and became increasingly irritated. Once the transaction was completed, I asked politely, "Did I do something wrong?" Her response was completely unacceptable. She told me that I was rude, said she "didn't need this," and then told me to "get out." I want to be very clear: I did not raise my voice, insult her, or behave disrespectfully. I am an older customer, and the confusion came from being spoken to abruptly while already following the payment process. That does not justify being spoken to harshly or being told to leave the store. What was especially disappointing is that I frequent this location. The only difference this day was my appearance--I was unshaven and dressed casually. Whether that played a role or not, no customer should ever be treated this way. I expect better professionalism, courtesy, and respect from a business I regularly support.

A young man began sweeping up the mess while I got another six bottles. At the register I handed the clerk my credit card when the manager came up and said, "No, here's your card back. You already paid for what you wanted and I want you to get it. We appreciate your shopping with us. Thank you." I left the store with far more than the six bottles I had wanted. Far far more. The doctor writes a prescription for the next 3 months and dates the separate prescriptions accordingly. But the pharmacy either has to order the medication in, which seems to take an inordinate amount of time, or the staff finds some nebulous error that clears up after repeated calls. We got a message today that said that the order had come in and we could pick up the prescription. I had other errands to do, so put Walgreens last. They STILL needed "an hour" because the order had "Just come in". If it weren't for the fact that Walgreens has the contract for our Medicare supplement, we would be getting prescriptions elsewhere. C'mon, Walgreens, pull it together.

Long wait times in lines, listening to many other patrons voice complaints. They repeatedly promise to have prescriptions ready for pick up, but when I go to get them, they requently don't have them ready. Many times they haven't had the medications available. Today was the end. There's too many other pharmacies available without the stress. I understand why they have such a low rating rating.

I paid $45 for gas at the self-checkout, but when I went to pump, no gas came out. Naturally, I was upset. Joel, who was the only employee present, told me to cancel the transaction and assured me the money would be refunded to my account. I waited, but the refund never appeared. When I followed up with him, he responded with an attitude and said, "Well, it isn't instantaneous." I then asked if he could apply the payment to a different pump, but he claimed he couldn't. After waiting a bit longer, I called and asked to speak to a manager--he said he was the manager. I told him, "I need gas. I already paid. What am I supposed to do?" and shockingly, he replied, "Do you not have any money left?" His customer service was terrible, and his attitude was completely unprofessional. In the end, I had to pay another $45 just to get gas--on top of the $45 I had already paid.

The Good The Bad The Ugly…read more Good: Sometimes roll right in and get what Doc ordered in less than a minute. The Bad: Right now is an older lady manning both lanes, she can't understand even when yelling loudly and saying letters and numbers clearly. She is deaf and guesses birthdays, and names, not even listening. I heard her do this with the customer in the 2nd lane and in front of me, not just myself. She can be either fake friendly or downright rude, either way she makes me feel like I shouldn't even exist. Cashier number #2747843. 2pm 3/11/26, Prescott Valley, Windsong. The Ugly: The 2nd lane should just not be on. Most people hang left, and then someone will cut the whole line to go to the right lane with the vacuum and speaker. People can't understand either party with the speaker and all the good people in the left lane get cut off, and their wait greatly increased. This is SOOOO frustrating, when this pharmacy is already not a great experience.

I wish i could give less stars…read more I was in the area and quite sick last Wednesday. I was able to get 2 prescriptions sent to this CVS since I saw that the pharmacy was open until 10. When I got there at 5:45 staff member in the front of the store told me the pharmacy closed at 5 because they did not have a pharmacist that night. "So can someone get it for me?" "No" "can you get it transferred to another CVS close by?" "No" "If I get it transferred do you know if they will close early?" "No" "Can you get me their phone #?" "No" "Do you have a manger here tonight?" "No" To be fair they said they worked the beauty counter and were out of their depth" So I left, got on the phone with Cigna and got it transferred to Walmart a few minutes away. Once I got to Walmart, they had my meds in hand in 20 min, and were super supportive and caring. If/when my local Rite Aid closes, I will NOT be transferring my business to CVS.
