I have to give a 5 star review for the amazingly friendly cashier. I basically was an idiot, spilled slurpee all over the floor because I forgot that it expands and she was so nice about it. She was also super pleasant during another purchase interaction. The store is like a 7-11 or any other major convenience store. It is your typical snacks. Circle K in Arizona is like 7-Eleven with Citgo gas, and host of other similar convenience store/gas station chains and outlets. This one is well situated on the south end of Highway 179, the main drag that goes straight through town. So as you are leaving Sedona to go south to Phoenix (about a 2 hour drive, depending on where in the Phoenix area you live) you will pas by this place. So it is a good place to refuel and get your snacks ready for the road trip. Regular gas on this trip was $2.719 per gallon. Reasonable, not a rip-off. read more

Did not see any major supermarket chains in Sedona, so Circle K was the closes thing to it. In any event, the store had a little more items than the average Circle K, probably being that it was THE SUPERMARKET of Sedona, but it met all necessities. This place is lame. Stay away. Beer selection sucks. Another problem is when I brought items to the counter and the worker, Alyn, started to ring me up and another patron came in wanting to purchase something, but I was not done looking around. The clerk could not cancel out my transaction to help out the guy behind me. He told me to take it up with his boss at 6am when he came in. This guy couldn't even be a big boy and cancel out the transaction. I asked him what would he do if I left and didn't want to buy the stuff. He said he would cancel the transaction. We bought gas for our SUV here and ran in for a quick restroom visit. Bathrooms. Are. Disgusting. Floors gross and covered with toilet paper. Filthy commode. Only one family restroom with one door available so someone outside door was complaining and a line was formed while my son and I both used restroom (about 5 minutes). Tried to rinse out a coffee mug, but water in sink is on a short timer and makes you wait several seconds between 3-second bursts of room temperature water. No towels. Come on, Circle K....you can do much better than this, especially for cross-country travelers who visit Sedona. read more

I can't believe my local Circle K was getting bad reviews. These folks rock and they put up with a lot of crap from tourists. Give these hard working under paid souls a break. I am a local who comes o this store at least twice a week. I love it! I even found myself looking for a Circle K when I was in California on vacation. Despite the other reviews, the people here are SO NICE! When I didn't have my wallet and needed air in my tires, one of them lent me a dollar to use the air machines! I am so grateful for that. When I walk into the store, I am greeted with the standard "Hello!" that you receive from most establishments, but turns into so much more at the register. Ed always has a joke to tell me, and the younger staff ACTUALLY SMILE! For those of you who are expecting this to be a super-stocked grocery store---go to the FIVE other grocery chains in town. For those of you looking for some gasoline and morning coffee, this Circle K will always be my reccomendation. read more

This Circle K was clean and well run, but what stood out was the kindness of the gentleman working the counter when we stopped by yesterday around 4:00, on vacation from New Jersey. There was a 12 year old boy named "Sam" outside selling his mother's homemade tamales. Not much fun for a boy on a Friday afternoon, (my 12 year old was surely st home playing Fortnight or basketball) but he was polite and gracious. The clerk said the boy comes regularly, and he gives him a cold drink now and then. Now, this store is trying to run a business, so he could very well have chased this kid away for selling food outside their entrance. I appreciated their empathy and kindness, and bought about 20 (very tasty) tamales that are in my hotel fridge right now. I encouraged Sam to keep helping his mom, and he really lit up when a few more people stopped by and bought more tamales. I hope everyone who stops there does the same, and chooses this location to get their gas and convenience items. I guess here, the "K" stands for kindness! read more

I could not believe the way I was treated at this Circle K. I am a local in the area and often go to the Circle K in the Village of Oak Creek on my way to work for coffee and cigarettes, always the same purchase, two packs and a large coffee. This day I was off of work and stopped by for gas and the norm. The store was crowded, I made my coffee and went to the counter. The young black man in front of me was being waited on. Apparently he was underage trying to purchase tobacco. The woman behind the counter assumed we were together and would not allow me to purchase. The young man was with another black man in back of me. Out of about 20 persons in the store at the time we were the only black persons, but I did not know these other people and tried to explain this as did they. I am a grown woman a local and a good customer of this store. I was treated poorly, embarrassed and the manager was even worse when I asked to speak with him. He stated that yeah he knew me, sees me coming often with my BMW, and to make a long story short stated that he would "let it slide this time." I was humiliated and left the store with everyone gawking at me as if I was a criminal trying to buy cigarettes for a minor. I did not purchase from there and went to the other Circle K about 3 miles away and reported the incident to the manager there. I will definitely be following up on this. No, this will not 'slide'.
