USA Grocers in Indian Rocks is a minority in having solidly frozen ice cream novelties. The store is well organized except for having the obsolete island style check out. The store is clean but worn. In several visits I have never encountered a clerk who seemed to care one way or the other whether there was a customer in the store. Last visit the customer ahead of me tried to engage the clerk with some friendly banter and got a few mumbles in return. I suppose that there is an attitude that most of the customers are tourists, will only be around for a few days, and will spend their next vacation elsewhere, so doing a great job doesn't matter. The only real reason to select this store is if you are close by.

He was being extremely rude to the woman infront of me but I didn't know the whole story so I stayed out of it. After getting it to my turn to checkout I swiped my card and the pad said "waiting for cashier to finish process" yet he got an attitude with me saying I didn't do it right. So I reswiped and it said the same thing. He then said to me "don't you know how to run a credit card?" This was unbelievable because the error was on his end. He told me it's declined. This wasn't true because the screen side said waiting for register. It would of said wait for reswipe or card not approved if I did something wrong. I deal with card processors all day I then told him I have over 10k available and it wasn't declined and pulled the app up to show him he didn't even run it once even. Try to and he said I don't give a fuck what the app says you have no clue what your doing and began being rude. I left at this point. Highly do not recommend visiting. Never had a worse experience or more rude person. Never coming here again

Prices are also astronomical, even for a corner convenience store. Greedy, don't bother. Also, he's not friendly, reviews stating otherwise are friends or family writing favorable reviews.
