This is my favorite local coffee shop in Seminole, FL!…read more We always order the signature banana mocha with oat milk, and my favorite seasonal drinks are the coconut banana and the Summer Samoan. It's truly some of the best coffee around, and I love that they roast their own coffee beans and use homemade syrups. The service makes it even better, the staff are so kind and welcoming every time. The ambiance is what really pulls it all together, it's quaint, cozy, and the perfect place to hang out, play trivia, or read. And the music is always a vibe, lots of Fleetwood Mac (I might be biased). 5/5 will always come back whenever I stop for the beach!

Service was phenomenal - so genuinely friendly. They also roast their own beans btw :) A little pricey for the drinks, though, and I felt the flavor of one of their specialty lattes was quite weak [could barely taste the hazelnut/mocha flavor *sniff*]. The space was really small and gets packed, so not so much a place to linger and work -- even when factoring outside seating. However, if you're in the area, it's good spot to come grab a bite and a specialty latte to go -- specially as there are no other good local, comparable options I've tried.

I knew there would be a wait because it was busy, but it didn't take long at all. I love that they prioritize seating people properly so everyone gets great service--while we waited I browsed the adorable boutique and even picked up a cute hair clip. The patio is so charming and quaint, full of character and little details to look at. You can tell there's a lot of history here. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly the whole time, and service was quick. We ordered mimosas and their world-famous Bloody Mary--both were excellent. It's also pet-friendly, parking was easy, and everyone we interacted with was pleasant and welcoming. It truly made my Sunday a perfect day. Highly recommend!

The Eggs Benedict were spot on, with a perfectly runny yolk and a hollandaise sauce that actually tasted like it was made by someone who cares. The waffle daffle and crepes were both excellent, the Western Scrambler was solid, and the sausage patties and gravy earned clean plates all around. The staff was friendly, attentive, and somehow managed to appear right when we needed something without hovering like breakfast-themed surveillance drones. We sat outside and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Plenty of shade, fans running, and a relaxed vibe that made it easy to linger over coffee and pretend we didn't have anywhere else to be. My only suggestions: offer 100% maple syrup for those of us who enjoy making financially irresponsible breakfast decisions, and the sweet tea could use a little more Southern charm. Overall, a great breakfast spot with good food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. We'd happily come back --and next time I'll probably still complain about the syrup while cleaning my plate.

Our table ordered the Frog Benedict, the waffle, and an omelette, and every single dish was outstanding. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We were already planning to leave a glowing review before we even finished our meals. The atmosphere is absolutely adorable -- warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. Our food arrived quickly, and our waitress was attentive and wonderful, keeping our drinks full and checking in at just the right times. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the incredible customer service. After they had closed for the day, someone in our party realized they had accidentally left a purse behind -- and we were flying out the next morning before they reopened. We called (fully expecting no answer since they were closed) and then drove over just in case. A kind employee from a nearby business helped us contact the general manager -- and he actually came back and opened the restaurant for us! He was gracious, kind, and refused to accept anything for his time, even though his workday was already over. That level of care and integrity is rare. This is exactly what a true, community-run local business looks like. Exceptional food, exceptional atmosphere, and genuinely exceptional people. We cannot recommend them highly enough and will absolutely be back!

5-Star Review - My New Happy Place in North Redington Beach!…read more I'm always on the hunt for great local spots after a showing, and this time Yelp & Maps delivered a winner. After a successful client appointment, I was starving and searched for nearby restaurants -- "My Happy Place" popped up with a well-deserved-4.7 stars. I'm so glad it did! On a beautiful sunny (but surprisingly chilly) day, I rolled up to a cool tiki-bar vibe right on Gulf Blvd. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, with outdoor seating warmed by heaters so you stay comfortable even on cooler days. I was immediately greeted by a super friendly gentleman (I believe one of the co-owners and the chef), who took the time to answer all my menu questions with genuine enthusiasm. He didn't hesitate when I asked for his top recommendation: the Blackened Grouper Sandwich ($17.98). He told me they source the grouper fresh every day from a local fishmonger, and it showed. I ordered it on a toasted brioche bun with tomato, lettuce, and their house-made remoulade sauce. It was fantastic-- flaky, perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and one of the best grouper sandwiches I've had in the area. All sandwiches come with kettle chips, and you can upgrade to potato salad or coleslaw for just $2. The menu has so many tempting options I can't wait to try next time: the California Chicken Wrap, thank Classic Patty Melt, Bahama Mama smoked sausage, and plenty of cold deli sandwiches like the Turkey Club and Tuna Salad on croissant. There's also a full "Cool Stuff" section with smoked fish spread and chopped salads if you're in the mood for something lighter. I already know I'll be back soon -- next time I plan to stay longer, enjoy the vibe, and pair my grouper with one of their cocktails. If you're in the North Redington Beach / Redington Beach area and looking for a fantastic lunch spot with fresh seafood, friendly service, and a relaxed beachy atmosphere, My Happy Place is a great place to visit. I'll be returning -- and recommending it to my clients!

We sat at the "bar" for breakfast and shared the country fried steak and gravy with home fries (and scrambled eggs). It's difficult to mess up a scrambled egg, and they didn't. The home fries were very yummy and crispy (which made the boyfriend super happy). The star of the show was the country fried steak and gravy .... Omg .... So tasty!!! So tasty, in fact, that in spite of many other breakfast options in the area, we chose to go there again the next day. This time we ordered the biscuits and gravy (w scrambled eggs and home fries again) and shared that, as well. That gravy is SO GOOD. We were a little surprised that this entree was only one biscuit (instead of 2, like we're used to), and it didn't have as much gravy as the breakfast from the day before. But it was still super delicious. We could've asked for more gravy, but we didn't, and that's on us. Hopefully we go to the beach again next year. If we do, no question, Kenny's Korner will be one of our stops. In addition to delicious breakfast, the staff was super friendly, which should never be taken for granted.
