Mediterranean Chicken salad with tomato bisque soup
    William L.

Neither one of us wanted much. Queen Bee actually wanted soup and maybe salad. Of course she tells me this at 4:15 so it was late for me to make a pot of scratch soup by then!!! So here comes the distant second...No way was I gonna bother with Chili's or for that matter Craplebee's delivery!!! I ordered and paid ahead on my was app. Very easy, straightforward and seamless. It takes about 6 minutes to get there from home. Order was already bagged and waiting when Her Highness walked in. Pickup was a flash and back home in no time. Nice, neat and clean store; well kept and organized with visual appeal. I had a turkey club, no cheese. It's pretty hard to screw this up. Lo and behold, they did okay with it. It wasn't sliced into four neat, triangular quarters like you see in a restaurant (lol) but it tasted the same. Half way decent amount of turkey and a bit cheap with the bacon, but lettuce and tomato still vibrant. I don't buy soup in places like this and never will. Blech! Queen Bee actually liked the tomato basil bisque; don't ask me. I turned my nose up at it because I make it from scratch in my own kitchen. I'm sure thy Sysco people will be offended now. Her salad was two-green chicken Mediterranean. I had a little of that, also...We found no brown lettuce (iceberg and romaine) and the tomatoes were juicy, plenty of tender chicken breast (not dried out either) and fairly good quality feta. Chipotle ranch dressing have it a wee bit of a kick too. Their app is pretty good as I stated. When you choose your sandwich, salad or what have you, you're guided through a nice load of customization options. If you just want the whatever it is the way they make it normally, just hit "I'll take it" to bypass the twenty questions crap. Otherwise there are options for bread/rolls, sizes, spreads, meat options, cheese options, toppings, etc. This is nice for the convenience-minded fussbudgets among us. Would I recommend them for much besides a quick sandwich or something super convenient and reasonably priced? No...However this chain is way better than 7-Eleven, Speedway, etc. This chain makes your order to order, so to speak. They recently added dinner items like pasta bakes, burgers and fries, etc. I myself scoff at that, to be honest. Maybe it's fine, and I'm sure there's a demand for it; just not from me.

This is my go to Wawa in Largo. I cannot believe I have not given them a review. The gas here is one of the lowest price who accepts credit card as cash price. I think all gas station should do it or post two price with one for cash and one for credit. That way save customers a trip if they decided not to pump. This gas station has great number of pumps and with middle turn around. It also has ethanol boat fuel. It is great for any type of transportation. The convenience store is great with many things to sell. You can grab an hoggie or latte.

We're originally from California and moved to Florida a little over a year ago, and ever since then we've definitely been craving The Habit. We were so excited to stumble upon this location! One of the first things we noticed was that it wasn't busy at all -- which honestly shocked us (in the best way). Back in California, every Habit location always seemed packed at all hours of the day, so this felt like a treat. I ordered the Teriyaki Char with crispy green beans, and my husband got the Double Char meal with fries. Somehow, the food tasted even better than what we remember from California! My burger was cooked to a perfect medium -- which is rare to find at a fast-casual spot -- and it made such a difference. Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the manager, Danielle, who was incredibly friendly -- and funny enough, she's originally from California too! Small world! Every employee we encountered was welcoming, kind, and made sure to greet us when we arrived and wish us a good night when we left. The restaurant was very clean and well-kept, which we really appreciated. Overall, such a wonderful experience. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in the Clearwater area!

That said, there wasn't much that stood out in a way that would elevate my commentary to say this is a "must-stop burger place". This is not meant to be a slight on them or their product. I would definitely come back and eat here and if someone asked me how it was, I'd say "pretty good!" But not the best burger I've ever had or even in the area. Give it a try!

Authentic NYC Big Apple's fried & Fresh Halal!…read more So very very happy to find this place! I was just driving by & saw their sign & decided to stop in & see if they did have Authentic NYC Halal street food, which is one of my all time favorites, as I spent a great deal of time (12 years) living, working, going to college in NYC. And YES! Yes they do have Authentic NYC halal street food OuiOui ! The first visit, I got a chicken & Lamb to go. It smelled so good it didn't even make it home untouched, I was cramming it in my pie hole at red lights OuiOui :)... Then, I tried to hide the rest from Sir Hubbers but with his sensei street food senses, he smelled me & moi hoarded halal right out! LOL So second visit, I wanted to get another Halal chicken & lamb combo dish, but with two red sauces & two white sauces this time, bc one of each was just not enough yummy sauce for moi the first time, so me thinks two of each is the way to go! Two Red Sauces Two White sauces OuiOui. So I got the chicken & lamb combo to go again, with 2 red 2 white sauces on the side, but this time I remembered as I was walking out the door, to stop & take a photo, b4 said hoarding befall's me again! LOL :)... So I go over to one of the 7 cute little MOD tables that are inside & sit down & take a photo of the chicken & lamb dish he just made me with the 2 sauces on the side... The Big Apple's fried & fresh Halal owner comes running out, sees me taking bites with my fingers, dipping the chicken & lamb in the sauces with my fingers, taking photos, being a total nerd! lol He is like "I thought you wanted it to go!" Ask me if he can get me some utensils, wanting to save me from my barbaric ways hahahah! :)... He was so cute! Such a nice guy, just a regular New Yorker, we hit it off instantly. I told him I WAS taking it to go, but I just wanted to take a beautiful photo of it fresh, so I could post it & I then showed it to him... He was like "Oh! That is very nice! Please tell everyone to come see me!" So, "Everyone, come to the Big Apple's Fried & Fresh for some Authentic halal!" The owner is a very cool dude from New York, speaks perfect English, makes incredible Authentic halal street food & wants to give you utensils & save you from your barbaric ways. LOL The best service EVER! :).... Added to moi fave Tampa places/Fave St Petersburg places. AND, I might even start a new list on the "coolest New Yorker owned places."' The Big Apple's Fried & Fresh is tops! New York #Knicks on tops! Winners Circle all the way! OuiOui. Highest Recommendations.

This place is great!!…read more This is not a fancy place, but the food is terrific. I especially like the empanadas and the chicken and/or lamb over rice or salad. If you can handle a little spice, try all four sauces over the chicken or lamb and be ready for a wonderful taste treat. The sauces are made in house with a big variety of ingredients providing a complex taste that is addictive. The owner is friendly and very hospitable. The menu also includes Pakistani/Indian selections like tandoori chicken, but I have not tried them yet. It's hard to pick anything but the chicken/lamb over rice with those sauces.....I think I'm addicted!! Give this place a try.....you will not regret it!!

Visiting around 1:00 p.m. turned out to be the perfect timing; arriving just after the main lunch rush meant it wasn't overly crowded, which made for a very pleasant and relaxed experience. The customer service was exceptional--the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and they were quick to get the food out. Everything served was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The interior of the restaurant, including the restrooms, was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Being Filipino, I'll admit to a natural fondness for the brand, but even with high standards, this branch truly stands out for its execution. Finding the restaurant is incredibly straightforward as it sits right off the main road in a shared business plaza, providing plenty of easy parking right out front. Cons: Navigating the traffic layout can be a bit tricky depending on your direction of travel. If you need to head out the opposite way on the main road, you cannot make a direct turn and instead have to navigate down the next couple of side streets to find a traffic light to safely turn around. Thumbs up / Thumbs down: Thumbs up! I highly recommend this location and will definitely be back.

We were so excited but after spending over $50 on 5 pieces of chicken, a yum burger, side spaghetti, palabok, fries and a coconut icy.... We felt it was pretty pricy for 2 adults and 2 kids. The service, was fast food centric and of course they messed up the order and forgot the icy. Oh well. My chicken was passable (I got spicy) but the regular chicken was gross and the guys refused to finish it. The yum burger tastes ultra processed (but still a step up from Whitecastle), the spaghetti was interesting with a banana sweetened ketchup sauce overtop that was slightly unique. The palabok was the most interesting, but somehow also tasted fast foodish and not "fresh". Jollibee's must taste better in other countries? This is our second time trying and every time we leave poorer, disappointed, and with a slight stomachache. Def felt less "jolly" after eating here. No thank you.
