I did the lotto tickets first, since I was going to use credit for the other things. I handed Gerry my 4 slips, which he puts the first one into the machine (a Powerball with Power Play and Double Play selected on the slip). The machine questions him if Double Play should be selected, which he asks me. I reply yes, it's selected on the slip. He looks blankly at me and asks again. So, I again say "yes, it's selected on the slip" louder thinking he didn't hear me. He then states, "I guess not". So, now I have a ticket without Double Play selected for 6 draws; all because your new hire Gerry is too incompetent to A) look at the slip in his hand and see Double Play selected. B) Understand "Yes, it's selected on the slip" to mean Yes, I wanted it selected. I think requested my slips back, which he ignored and continued to put them into the machine. If he hadn't been looking directly at me the second time, I said "Yes", it would be possible he is just hard of hearing; but given he was looking at me when I told him "Yes" and still did the complete opposite, it's clear he's just incompetent. How do you mess up putting a pre-filled out slip of paper into a machine? If I hadn't picked the numbers, I would have just walked out. And yes, I could have had the resulting incorrect ticket cancelled and redone, but if Gerry couldn't figure out that Double Play was selected on the slip; how would he have figured out how to cancel the ticket? If he's this incompetent at putting slips of paper into a machine, I can't imagine what else he'd screw up...I'd rather not find out!

Nice large sized gas station and convenience store, that isn't so convenient when you have to wait 15 minutes in line, haha. If you stop in here and the place is almost empty I am sure it will be fast to get in and out. But it seems every time I even drive by it's very busy. Funny thing is the Marathon gas station about 100 yards up the road from this location is usually never busy at all. The LP Gas/ propane tank swap out is expensive here at $25+ for a swap out. Many grocery stores are $17-$20, or get your own tank refilled at an refill propane station for less money too.

A few weeks ago, I downloaded the app and was accumulating points so I could use them at a later transaction. So, today I got 10 cents off per gallon, or so I thought. The lowest price for unleaded on this day was $4.359 per gallon. I chose that one and I also used 100 points to lower it to $4.259 per gallon. I filled up and saw that the price for 87-Unleaded had dropped from $4.359 to $4.259. Finished filling up but the total transaction seemed a little high, so I started doing my math: $4.259*15.090 gallons should have been $67.72, but the pump read $76.34, an $8.62 difference. I should have gotten an attendant at that point, but I also thought that they may be now advertising a price but with no sales taxes added to it so the price may appear lower. To make matters worse, I asked for a receipt, but none was given. Usually, when the machine is out of paper, it makes a certain grinding noise. I didn't hear that noise this time, so I don't have a receipt to compare and see if the taxes are already added or not. I drove home and asked my wife to do the math with me. She realized that they charged me the price for Premium $5.159 a gallon, minus my 10-cent discount, comes to $5.059 per gallon. I also got a previous receipt from that exact gas station (different pump), and the price does include the sales tax. I don't remember what pump number that was but will check next time I am in the area. That gas station is 7 miles from my home, so it seems counterproductive to go there and talk to the manager to see if the $8.62 that I paid extra would be refunded or not. If you have read this far, you are also watching your pennies. Be careful with this gas station and do your math.

The pumping stations always seem to be clean and stocked with the essentials for when you pull up. When you walk inside you go through the sliding doors and you can either make a left to go to Hardee's or make a right to go into the gas station service area and if you go straight you can make it right into the bathrooms. Once inside the cleanliness and organization is about average to any gas station this one makes the exception list for losing that cleanliness that Chevron is known for. The gas station clerk is kind of rude and pushy. When you walk into the gas station service area everything is kind of crowded together and there's no real organization. If you walk over to Hardee's everything seems very clean and organized over by the drink area. The staff at Hardee's is a lot nicer and easier to talk to. This location also has a drive through car wash and a drive-through fast food. They also have telephones outside and an ATM inside. I didn't really notice the different types of octane but I believe there just like the norm 83oct 87 and 93 i Believe. My overall visit was fine I'll probably stop here to use the ATM every once in a while and fill up as well.

The store has a beer cave, cold drink area, fresh food area, etc and the areas are signed for easier shopping. The store was pretty clean, with well stocked shelves. There is a car wash on site. The lines were long, but typical for a convenience store. I thought it was odd and a little disturbing that the manager?owner? (Name is Manik) approached me while I was taking photos to ask me who I was and what I was doing!
