Second worst burger I've ever had IN MY LIFE!!! Just stick to pumping gas and grabbing a drink and you'll be fine! Brief Summary: If you're looking for a place to grab a burger and fries, try literally anywhere else, and you'll be happier. Trust me! Wawa is what happens when you try to mix a gas station and a restaurant together. Great concept, but the execution is severely lacking. BUT, if all you're looking for is a quick fill up for gas and a drink to go, this Wawa is a great choice! Would I Recommend This Restaurant? For gas, yes. For food, no. The Food: There really isn't any way to put this nicely. The food I got during my visit was borderline inedible! I got a burger and fries, which, was the second worst one I've ever had in my life! Only to be beaten out by my high school cafeteria. Yeah, it was that bad! I have no idea what animal the meat was from and the bread tasted like it was 99% flour and 1% everything else. There was no flavor, no seasoning, and it was an incredibly huge disappointment. This disappointment carried over to my french fries, which were hard as a rock!! I honestly didn't know that french fries could become that consistency. It was honestly like a magic trick how they got them to be so tough. A really bad one. I'm not sure what the quality of the rest of the menu is like, but after my most recent meal, I don't have high hopes for it. HOWEVER, it wasn't all bad. I did have a vanilla milkshake that was rather pleasant! It had a good flavor to it, and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. The drink options here aren't bad at all, but the food was utterly repulsive. Service, Staff, and Location: When you go to a gas station, you never really go in with the expectation of getting high quality customer service from the staff. The staff at this location, however, was actually quite friendly and helpful. Good customer service goes a long way with me, and the staff on deck this day deserves some kudos. My only gripe is that I had to wait a while to get my food, which for the quality of food I received and the busyness of the store that day shouldn't have taken that long. Store was clean, and all of the fuel pumps worked. Overall, not a bad Wawa location. Final Thoughts: If this Wawa was being judged solely on its food, it would easily be a one or two star review. Wawa, however, is more than just a place for food. It's a pit stop to help you complete your journey to wherever the road may take you. It's a place for both you and your car to get the essential things you need to keep going, and that is something they excel at. As a whole, this Wawa isn't a bad place to stop at. This Wawa always has great customer service and quick response. Orders are filled very quickly and I have had no issues with this location.

It was early morning and I was shopping at the Walmart across the street and I noticed this was here. I decided to just stop and have breakfast. I ordered in the app before I had it across to it and arrived a couple of minutes before the estimate for when my food should be ready. This was an extremely busy location on this particular morning. I'm not sure if it's always like this as it was my first visit here. I stopped at the register and paved my food and walked over to wait till they called my name or number. When I arrived by the pickup area one lady greeted me but they were busy with a ton of orders. I waited almost 10 minutes before a gentleman who had walked over to help them check some stuff on the side that was out of view and called my number. I was advised that if I order in the app next time I should check in with them to let them know I am there. I've never had to do this in any other location. I was satisfied with the wait time, took my sandwich and headed out to my car to head back home. When I got in I unwrapped my breakfast sandwich and it looked delicious. I discovered after my first bite into it that it had tomatoes on it which were not supposed to be on and I am not supposed to be eating. Other than the tomatoes the sandwich was missing the hot peppers that I had asked for on it. I guess they mixed up the ingredients. On my receipt it was very clear what it was supposed to be. As I'm almost 15 minutes away I just enjoyed my sandwich as it was and was satisfied with it. I understand they were really busy but this was obviously not the best first impression to make. This is my go-to gas station but in my opinion, Wawa is more than just a place to get gas. I often go here for their smoothie, milkshake, etc. Hoagies and club sandwich are very good as well. The drink and food prep area are equipped with touch screen monitors to order your meal. Open 24 hours I love this gas station. Not only is it a gas station they serve hot food and beverages here! So when it's late at night and you're wanting something to eat come here. I love their paninis and hoagies. They also have milk shakes, smoothies, fresh coffee etc. I'm also glad they placed this in the Wimauma/Sun City area. Leaves more options than McDonald's or Walmart. If you're going to go get gas you might as well come to Wawa and get some really good snacks! Also get their app! Down side You need to work on your side's. It seems side's are a consistant disappointment. We had the dressing. It was a bad version of stove top stuffing. I can be hit or miss sometimes they get my order wrong or the place looks dirty but there's a lot of traffic coming and going so there are good days also. Overall I'm pretty happy with my purchases the food comes out hot usually made correctly and if it's not I take it back and they remake it so that's not a big problem. This by far is one of the worst locations I've ever been to. And maybe it's just the night crew. The crew after 10. It's horrible...I came and order fries and a sub. Fries were nasty cold and dry and when I asked if I could have fresh fries the lady behind the counter acted as though I offended her because I took her away from her cleaning duties but whatever...when I get my fries I get the same exact batch as before...I went to the counter to swap out the fries for a bag of chips and explained to the young lady behind the register what had just taken place and asked for the swap. She says "Okay" and proceeded to do the exchange...it wasn't until the end of the transaction and I was nearly waking away when she delivered an apology that really wasn't an apology. Here we are again...tonight...same crew...and the kitchen is shut down with the Kiosk covered saying closed...at 3am. I like the Wawa gas stations/ convenience stores and this one is nice. I normally just get fuel here or maybe a drink and a snack, but they also have the sandwich shop inside ready to make you a hot sub in a flash. The window washer containers are always full of nice blue soapy window cleaning fluid, which is one of the reasons I like this place so much. Many other gas stations have plain or dirty water in their washer bins, but at Wawa you know you will be able to actually clean your car windows. The store itself is clean, well stocked, and has a large selection of cold drinks. This location is usually busy 24/7 but they get you in and out quickly. read more

Don't bother coming here for the food, it's terrible! Service too. So I was having an extreme craving for a freshly made salad. I made the mistake of coming to Wawa around 4am in an attempt to satisfy it. I ordered a salad, not too hard to mess up, right? Guess again! The lady who made it put ONLY spinach in my salad and nothing else. That was NOT the way I ordered it, and that isn't even a salad! The idiot also took forever. I asked if she was going to put lettuce in my salad and she looked at me as if I were the stupid one. UMM??? It's a SALAD. Salads always have lettuce. Anyway when I explained that to her, she got an attitude and then proceeded to put some gross shriveled up tiny pieces of shredded lettuce in it, just cramming them in on top of everything else without removing any of the spinach to make room. Then she didn't give me the extra dressing I'd asked AND PAID FOR! I literally had to go to Walmart across the street and buy a bag of lettuce and add it to the so-called "salad" myself. Utter incompetence at the coffee making area this morning. Single male coffee maker looked stoned, upset, disinterested and vastly over his head. Nine customers waiting while four other employees stood around in the sandwich prep area laughing and chatting. After six minutes of waiting, not one order came out. I walked to register and asked for a total refund of coffee items and some snacks. Manager asked me "What was missing" and I replied, "General Competence and Professionalism" but I think that confused him. Rather than refund to my card, he opened the register and handed me cash but no change. I took it and turned to walk away and heard, "Sir". Manager points to my bag of chips and pretzels and said, "You wanted to keep that right? I didn't refund those items." I grabbed the bag and walked out the door. i visited wawa for the first time yesterday, 2/15 and was immediately approached by a man named brian who was very assertive, and telling me i had a defective windshield, and that it needed to be replaced. i did give hime info requested. informed him that i would have my son, a coast guard ship engineer inspect the site, and would then make a decision. my son did not agree with the assessment. i recieved a text message this am that brian was on his way to my house to do the work. i have other commitments. not acceptable. i do not want to have the work done, and texted that response to him. when i go to get gas at the end of a long long day, i do not expect to be approached by someone telling me i need this and that done to my car. probably won't seek service at this wawa again. getting gas there was not a problem, but having these guys out there soliciting, is!! sincerely, judith bixler read more
