The first hour was on forest trails with slight inclines & declines. Anyone can do it even if you've never ridden before. Second half of ride was mostly walking upstream then downstream in a slow flowing river. Horses seemed to really enjoy this as it zigzagged up about 1/4 mile. You will really enjoy this relaxing ride & recommend you spend the extra $$ for the 2hr. You won't be disappointed, here's some pics, cheers and thanks. We recently visited this area and went horse riding. We did the 1 hour mountain trail. it was okay…read more, lots of up and down . The horses were great and the people were nice but it was strange that there was no proper business area where you pay and sign the paperwork like we have been used to with other stables we have visited in the past. It was just a picnic table. Also during the ride our guide was watching her phone the whole time . And when the time came that we stopped in the trail and she was offering the horses a treat, she offered them peppermint candy she hand in her purse. Then she for warned us that this would make the horses gassy. I don't understand why she would give them this! Then when our ride was over our horses went straight to look for water from their buckets and they were completely empty. I don't understand how on our whole hour ride no one could have water ready for them for when we got back.

The old train station off Main Street (RT 27) is the focal point and is situated half way between either end. A good starting point. Public bathrooms at the station and a big fat friendly orange cat that usually greets you along the way.

My daughter has attended La Petite for pre-school and we have been exceptionally happy with the…read morequality of the care and education she has received. She was never in daycare until she turned four and it was time for her to enter pre-school, so transition into pre-school was a but more difficult for her. The teachers and staff were so helpful, though, and my little one always speaks so highly of them. When she went for her kindergarten assessment and orientation she ranked very highly in her aptitude test, so she is definitely being adequately prepared. La Petite also uses a great online accessible program where parents can see their children's meals, check in and check outs, and sometimes pictures and video of activities throughout the day. My little one starts kindergarten next year and while we are excited about that I think we will all miss La Petite.

The birthday party proceeded perfectly well. All Big E staff did their jobs with care and perfection! They were all attentive to the needs of the host and seemed to really want to make this a memorable event for the birthday boy and his friends. There's eight movie screens, a full sized bowling alley, climbing and jumping activities to help keep the kids energy levels manageable. In better weather outside there's also a rather large and impressive miniature golf area. I can't believe that I've missed out on this fun place to take children to.

They have $1 Mondays, where GA seats,hot dogs, chips, and select beers and wines. Two for one Tuesdays,and thirsty Thursdays, $2 select beers! They have a great fireworks show over the July 4th weekend and August 4. Great entertainment for the price.

I accidentally drove past this public park today. I've driven by here a thousand times and never…read morenoticed it. It has one ball field with safety fencing. There's a really nice playground area. There's also public restrooms that I did not investigate. In the summer time they put out a splash pad for the kids. Though not large in size this park looks very adequate to meet the local needs. I enjoyed my visit here.
