This is a good nearby alternative as they have a free parking lot. The staff were very friendly when I asked them questions, and the restrooms were clean. They had some tables and chairs to work at as well as public computers. Sitting at the table was unfortunately very uncomfortable, but it was bearable for three hours. Once kids started coming in after school, it was so loud. They have a kids' section, but it is right next to the work area, so it was very loud with kids yelling and screaming. I know it's a small library, but it's nice when the kids' section is separated from the work area.

The staff is friendly, it's very clean and organized. Easy to use the printers and computers.read more

I do not remember their names, but I had a panicking, hysterical 5 year old in the backseat and they totally rescued me from a dire situation so that I could get everyone home. The bridge has pedestrian and bike paths from Cesar Chavez Avenue to Riverside Drive. If you look below you can see boats, kayaks and paddleboats passing by on the Lady Bird Lake (Colorado River). During March to October, you can see a colony of Brazilian free-tail bats swarm from underneath the bridge at dusk. If you continue North on Congress Avenue, it will lead you to the State Capitol (10,000 steps marker is noted on the ground). The day I walked the route it was 91° and quite humid. It was a struggle for me and I had to take a break. Joggers and others walking their dogs zoomed right past me! Nonetheless, I did make the trek at a snail's pace and it was a beautiful day. From this vantage point you can see the Lake, trees, and Austin skyline. Sincerely, Rosemary (from So. California).

After talking to a few pest companies, not only did they get the species of ants wrong (acrobat vs carpenter) which affects the bait being used, but they also can't get their story straight. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.

They…read morewere quick, at one point it was going to rain mid-way through the install so they pulled out all the stops and they got my roof done ahead of schedule before it rained. Since then the roof has held up great! Last week I started seeing a leak on the outside of my house. I called them up and the owner sent someone out the same day just to rule anything out. When they came out we both agreed that it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the roof, but that didn't stop them for doing their best to stop it from leaking they added some caulking around some holes in the stucco and masonry and fixed up some of the flashing near the leak. After that, it was still leaking, but Brad, the owner, was kind enough to come out again, even though it had NOTHING to do with the roof just to double-check on me and make sure that I was doing well. At the end of the day, they took off a side gutter and found a hole in the wall that the builders had left from when the house was built. Again, STILL not roof related, but they treated me like family and helped me as if it were and fixed it up for me. Literally cannot say enough good things about WDR! I've never found a company that is this helpful or this responsive.

You have the options of leaving stuff out on the curb but I couldn't do that because of my HOA. Also, last time I had left a desk that someone snatched up from the curb. So I didn't want to waste their time again. Their technology use is pretty awesome and respectfully as a IT guy I appreciate how it makes billing simple and easy. Circular Energy designed & installed a 6 kW photovoltaic system. Additionally, they oversaw construction of a patio cover as well as a needed electrical system upgrade to our 1950s home. Circular Energy worked with the City of Austin on our rebate application and the required permits. The project was well done from day one. When providing us with the estimate the project engineer was able to provide us with a business case that showed us how quickly we would earn back our investment in the system. We appreciated how knowledgeable he was - it was clear to us that he was truly enthusiastic about solar PV and wasn't just trying to 'sell us.' As others on this page have reported, we are getting even better performance from our system than they estimated. At first glance our house did not appear to be well suited for solar; luckily, Circular was able to design a patio cover for our home that could serve as solar real estate. They creatively designed the patio cover to tilt up to catch as much sun as possible, which had the added benefit of keeping our indoor view from being blocked by the patio cover. We appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile with the design phase of the project. The installation crew was quick and professional. We felt that the crew leader gave us timely updates and kept us in the loop on what was happening. The patio build and panel installation moved along quickly and smoothly under his oversight. He was very easy to work with. We felt that Circular Energy was thorough, thoughtful and professional. We recommend their services to anyone considering solar. read more

We contacted 4 solar companies, but we only received two proposals that made sense to us. We selected Circular Energy at the time, because we felt they would do a more professional job. Although the cost estimates were about the same, the power output of the system they designed was clearly superior. It's fair to say that our decision wasn't really made on price. They installed a 9kW (9000 watt) system last year and I've now had a six months to watch the results on the monitoring system. We are so happy with the actual results. They told us that we could expect a first-year production of 11,700 kilowatt hours. Through the first six months since they turned it on, we have already produced over 7000 kilowatt hours, which means we will easily pass the original goal and save more money than what they had promised us. Most of all, my wife and I really enjoyed working with their team. Their designers, project managers, and accountants all treated us with respect and as if our project was the most important project they were working on. I happen to know from a friend of mine in San Antonio who was also working with Circular Energy at the time, that they were actually installing over 20 systems in the month when we both had ours installed. They took such great care of us, we hadn't a clue. This is simply one of the best companies we have ever had the pleasure of working with. read more

I originally wrote a review in November 2012, just after Circular installed my solar panels. For reasons unknown to me, (Perhaps I was considered too enthusiastic??), the review was relegated to the "not recommended" section. I only realized this now as I came to give an update on my installation as follows: In the two years I've had the panels, I've had two separate problems with the inverters both times requiring replacement. Circular was very prompt in addressing and diagnosing the problems but there were delays the second time in getting a replacement inverter, this due to the manufacturer not Circular. As soon as a replacement part became available, Circular did the install and it's worked well ever since. On both occasions, I found Circular to be just as responsive and professional as when they sold and installed the panels. Not bad for two years down the line. I should also note that their original projections of power production,, which I track closely, is actually below what my system achieves! Good job from a very good company. read more

Circular did excellent from start to finish of my home 6.24 kW PV system. From the first contact I had with Jennifer until even after the project was completed, Circular exceeded my expectations in every way. Everything was done according to schedule, according to budget, and with attention to detail. Even when I voiced concern about the conduit being bare metal in appearance and not matching the roof, Circular sent someone out right away to paint it in a matching color. Jennifer took the time to walk me through the entire process so there were no surprises and no disappointments. Even after the project was completed and the unit commissioned, Jennifer and Vincent came out to show me the system and to walk me through all the inner workings. Based on my experience, I would recommend Circular without reservation to anyone considering installation of a solar unit. read more

Well, gotta echo the first two reviews plus 10! Then need to write how helpful the project director was in helping with all the info our HOA required as well as helping the city put together a rebate plan. The city had just formed a division to formulate an energy management program in October of last year. They had funds to distribute to home owners but no vehicle to do that. Our system was almost completed last week. The wheels of progress sometimes move slowly - the city has not provided the smart meter so everything can be connected. Hats off to Richard Estrada, the Circular Energy Project Director on our job for his cool leadership in coordinating everything from home owner, HOA, city, and Circular Energy. read more

I asked several solar installers to bid the project at my home. Two of them never prepared a bid. Circular Energy, who I have followed for 3 years, prepared a bid, and explained exactly how they would accomplish the work. They arrived on the dates they scheduled and completed the install quickly despite the difficulty of installing/working on a ceramic tile roof. Richard Estrada was always quick with an email, and explaining what items were still outstanding (such as our wait for City of Austin to come and inspect). We passed inspection on the first visit, and our meter was just set, and now we are excited to see our savings. Circular Energy made the process easy, and had a great finance program too. read more

So thankful we were referred to Lighthouse Solar. They have found a lifelong customer in us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
