A friend of mine and I went in to Cisco's for lunch today. Neither one of us have been here before but the yelp reviews said it was a good place so we thought we'd try it. It's a little out-of-the-way, but the reviews didn't lie the food is very good and worth the visit. Michele was our waitress and she was very professional and friendly and kept checking back with us often. No complaints with the service. It's a nice modern restaurant with a good feel to it. My friend had the mahi-mahi sandwich and he said it was delicious. I had the French onion, ribeye sandwich, and it was pretty darn good. The french fries were very tasty as well. One of my favorite dinner spots in Corona. Great food, great drinks, great service. The entire staff is attentive and friendly. Clean and comfortable environment. Restaurant is nicely decorated inside and the tables are roomy. You could dress up or still go casual if you wanted to. My go-to appetizer is the artichoke, but the crispy rice is also really yummy. My favorite dinner is the chicken piccata. If you like mules I highly recommend the Passion fruit mule. Hubby recommends the Penicillin or the Negroni. Their Burnt Basque Cheesecake and the Key Lime Pie are a wonderful ending to the meal. Definitely give it a try if you haven't already. read more

Came here for my son's birthday. Expensive but worth it for special occasions. Each dish was not only delicious but also perfectly plated. We started with appetizers hummus with naan and crispy shrimp, both excellent. I had also ordered a wedge salad with pork belly, probably one of the best salads I've had. Two of us ordered the Cioppino which was amazing. The birthday boy ordered the pork chops and he loved it, although the portion was small for $38. The food here is absolutely amazing and reasonably priced for what I got. The "Baked Brie w/ bacon jam" is a must try appetizer. The bread has a nice crunch to it and the crust of the Brie is very fresh and has a nice glaze underneath it. The starter "Wedge Salad" does just enough while being paired with pork belly to add a nice flavor to the tongue pallet. Although, I think I'm not a fan of blue cheese. The "Porterhouse" is very filling and is shareable among 2 people. I enjoyed the two different cuts of meat, however I do feel that it would've tasted even better without all the extra seasoning that was on it. The "Corn Crème Brûlée" is like an Americanized corn cheese, different but good. The service here was amazing, shoutout to Ashley and the two others that were taking care of us last night. It's the weekend preceding my birthday and it was just my wife and I. The baked Brie and Bacon Jam was fantastic for our appetizer, I would have been happy at just that. I would say it's a nicer establishment where you can dress a little nicer, that's at least what I did for date night. Sierra was a great waitress. She was really personable and on top of everything. The food was really good as well. Weekends can be busy, so make a reservation. They only take reservations via phone call. So call ahead :) I ordered the corn crème brûlée. I thought it was very unique. I've never had it before. It was good. Just very sweet. It was soo sweet it was almost a dessert. I would pick a different side with the steak. The crispy ahi tuna-the crispy rice was perfection, however the fish tasted like it was half tuna from a can and ahi tuna mixed together. That part wasn't my favorite. read more

Our server was fantastic--she was friendly, attentive, and made my birthday dinner extra special with a beautifully designed plate with cake pieces on top. We loved the BAKED BRIE WITH BACON JAM-- Melty cheese wrapped in crispy pastry dough. The RIB EYE steak, CHEESEBURGER , FRENCH ONION RIB EYE sandwich were flavorful and tender. I had the LINGUINE AND BLACK TIGER PRAWNS with a creamy black garlic chili oil caramelized onion sauce -- super tasty though I would have preferred the pasta to be on the al dente side. The BURNT BASQUE CHEESECAKE was very delectable and went really well with the warm cherries. All the waiters/waitresses were very kind and attentive. The food was wonderful just delicious. I had a chicken piccata and my friend had the rib steak and both were spectacular. We had a Panna cotta with mango for dessert and it was so good. Savandra was our server. And she was excellent she made us feel welcome and comfortable and took care of us like we were her parents It was terrific. It was Saturday night. It was very crowded so so a little bit on the noisy side, but we were able to have a conversation and enjoy ourselves. There wasn't anything that was too intrusive. They have a wonderful wine list and great cocktails. It was my birthday and I was treated lovely they brought out a nice little plate with little cheesecakes on it and it said happy birthday to me so that was really nice. Unexpected. I dined at this restaurant three nights in a five nights stay at an adjacent hotel (business travel). The food is exceptional! I jokingly told others that the salmon dish was my death row meal. If it was my last meal on earth, I would be content The ambiance, price point and food quality are worth coming back. I'm so glad I live about an hour away. We stopped in on a Friday evening (5pm). Beautiful decor and ambiance in the most unexpected location. A true hidden gem. The appetizer Ahi tuna plate was crispy and just the right amount of spicy. The chicken piccata was perfect and the mashed potato side was delicious. We didn't get to try dessert, but they looked pretty good. My husband had the steak salad (not pictured). The salad is a good size portion with a 4oz steak. It's not plated like a traditional salad and that's why I think it's so good. We were told by our bartender that a happy hour menu is in the works! All in all service was beyond fantastic!! So my fiancée wanted to take me out to dinner and she chose this spot for us. The food was quite the experience, we tired this watermelon that was supposed to be like ahi tuna and since my fiancée can't eat fish this was really appealing. Though she was mixed on it we were both very impressed with how close it was to eating Ahi Tuna. The fried asparagus was just something else ... we would get two orders of that next time. I got their main pork dish and my fiancée got the ravioli I believe. The showstopper was the sauce on the pork.... We just could not get over it and how delicious it was. The pork was pretty good itself but it was varied on dry and juicy. They may have cut the pork too soon which dried out the meat a bit but overall I really enjoyed it. The wedge salad was amazing !!! Came here for a weekend dinner, reservations do tend to fill up quick, and can only be placed over the phone. Aesthetic & Ambiance: 6/10 Aesthetic gives off a more upscale atmosphere removing you from thinking you're right next to a residence inn. Service: 7/10 started off pretty slow, server barely came around, and the food came out quick once our order was in. He seemed pretty busy with larger tables, but we sat without water for a little while. Also would have love to swap a side in the chicken piccata :( Mellow Yellow: 8/10 almost a pornstar martini, it was sweet and tart. Deviled Eggs: 7.5/10 there was a whole lot of deviled to those eggs. They were good, but a bit much without a lot of paprika taste. Fries: 7/10 good truffle fries. Nothing special sadly, the aioli was interesting. Crispy Rice with Ahi Tuna: 6/10 they were also just okay, nothing amazing; but would say the rice felt like they were fried before and just left out. Tagliatelle w/short ribs: 7.5/10 good flavor on the short rib, and the sauce, but the pasta was pretty overcooked. Filet: 8/10 good flavor on the bark/seasoning, and was cooked perfectly medium-rare. The size was quite large too. Chicken Piccata: 8.5/10 best entree there, was amazing breading, the chicken was tender, and the sauce was delicious. The mashed potatoes were okay, and not being a fan of creamed spinach I skipped out. I asked to swap it for the broccolini but was told that was unable to happen. Cheesecake: 9/10 the cheesecake was delicious, I got the cherries on the side since I saw it go by beforehand and really wanted to try it. The cheesecake was dense and tasted made in-house. The crust was delicious, and overall wasn't too sweet. The key lime pie: 8.5/10 also being a great dessert, it was tart and sweet at the same time, but the crust had a perfect balance. read more

My parents were equally happy, though my dad wished the cioppino had a little more broth (mostly to justify tearing through more bread). We have been in 10-12 times since the summer started and your inside bartenders are God awful and have not gotten better. It's a darker woman, another woman with very curly hair and a younger man who appears to be a bar back. It feels like they use their time to chat amongst one another above serving the guests. The last couple times have been so bad we decided we are not sitting down for dinner at the bar anymore and would rather eat elsewhere. One of the bartenders wouldn't even give us eye contact when taking our order or asking if we wanted the check. It was very strange because we really love this place but your staff is making it not a great experience. I will say the staff you have outside taking orders and expoing the food specifically where they have the lobster rolls are 10/10. I'd rather buy chicken fingers and fries outside than sit for apps and dinner inside w the staff you have bc it's that much more pleasant of an experience and for us it's cheaper so a win win. read more
