I came here with a huge group of friends and the restaurant was very accomodating with us all. Our table shared sweet potato fries and chicken satay. Both very delicious appetizers. For my main course I had the Kra Prow Gai Kai Dao (Stir-Fry Grounded Chicken with Spicy Basil Sauce topped with a Fried Egg) from the Chef's Special menu. I always get this dish at every Thai restaurant. This dish did not dissapoint. It was spicy, full of basil flavor, and had plenty of veggies to complement the chicken. But the real show stopper was the dessert. We had the sticky mango rice. It was soooo beautiful with edible flowers and a pretty blue sauce. This is a small stand alone restaurant. Inside is nicely decorated. Came here based on previous, the service was excellent . Some favorites were the shrimp pad Thai, soft shell crab in yellow curry , spicy wings. The crying tiger was too chewy, and the mango sticky rice the sauce was overly sweet and needed more coconut flavor and mangoes were not sweet or flavorful enough. Came in on a Thursday evening with 5 adults, and 1 kiddo. There was plenty of parking and seating. The parking lot is a bit small though. It's been a while since I've been in this area and it could look a little rough from the outside. However, when walking in, the decor and ambience was very welcoming and a great place to enjoy an evening out with friends. Our party of six was seated immediately at 6:30 PM. We ordered the calamari and Thai beef jerky as appetizers. It was some of the best calamari I've had! For entrees, we shared it family style. We had crab fried rice, BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, yellow, curry, and Pad See Ew. Everything was delicious! I've never had crab fried rice before, and it was definitely unique. Not a bad Thai spot off by itself on a corner within an old house. The servers were very happy and helpful, I couldn't complain at all. The inside was decorated well and maybe could use some fresh type scents when it's a bit empty... Once the food started coming out and more tables filled the scent of the spot is was amazing with all of the spices in the air. Food was flavorful, salted well, asked for spicy and they brought the spice to a safe level but need to entice them for more spice. The beer was okay, the Singha was just as good. Solid Thai spot in the area. Ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and the roti with curry. The roti was flaky and crispy, and paired really well with the curry. Came at around 7 pm saturday night and we were seated promptly as a party of 8. I loved the decor of the restaurant. They have traditional Thai decorations and photos, and the wooden esthetic gives it the complete vibe of a Thai restaurant in Thailand. It isn't really big, maybe about 10 tables so I'm guessing that once this place picks up notoriety in the area it'll be a wait on busy nights. It's located near the Cornona City Hall and the local school distric plus dozens of other businesses nearby so I don't doubt it will be the spot for lunch and dinner for people working in the area. As a party of 8 we tried almost everything. I was the only member of my party not a Thai so I'll take what my wife's family said into heavy consideration. My favorite items were the pompano fish and Khao Soi boat noodle curry soup. These two were absolutely delicious and something I will be returning for. The Crying Tiger beef flank steaks and Beef salad were both perfectly cooked at a medium rare and the spicy sauce was perfect. The sauce for the crying tiger has a powdered rice mixed in which goves it a little crunch and it has an almost a parmesan tasting spicy chilli flavor going on. The beef salad was just as delicious with basil and chillies making the perfect taste for that. The pompano had a spicy sweet and sour sauce that had me asking for a second order. We had the chicken sauté, a perfectly grilled chicken with a tasty peanut sauce, and spicy fish cake served with heavy Thai basil, and fresh spring rolls for appetizers and they were served promptly and were so good! The peanut sauce for the spring rolls and chicken saute was addicting. Fish cakes with spicy thai basil were so good!, the rest of my party really loved them. Honestly it made me feel like I was in Thailand with my family and friends, they noted the authenticity and unique Thai recipes of these appetizers. As I said my favorite menu items were the khao soi boat noodle soup; the curry was spicy and flavorful, and the crying tiger beef flank steaks. The Pompano fish was also amazing and as I said, had me ordering a second round! The Pad thai was tasty and delicious as well! The dessert we had was the coconut milk mango sticky rice and that was so delicious that I had to wait a bit for my full stomach to make some room! It had purple condensed milk which Net, the owner, told me was due to a special flower. They added edible gold and the mango wa so soft and sweet. Probably the most delicious mango sticky rice I've ever had, not exaggerating. They have a bar stocked full of wine and mixed drinks. I had some Chang Thai beer and some Cabernet wine. I came here with a friend this past Monday evening for dinner and we both were a little surprised by the more elegant/romantic atmosphere of the restaurant with the mood lighting and background music playing. I could tell it was still a family restaurant though when I saw families dining here and it was a nice sized crowd that helped keep the restaurant feeling lively still. Our waiter was very attentive from when we sat down, to anticipating us needing a box or wanting dessert, and even how quickly he grabbed our check - he was on it! My friend and I decided to split between ourselves the food and so we ordered the drunken noodles (something consistently enjoyable regardless of the restaurant) and the khao soi (something that we wanted to experiment with and try for the first time). As always, the drunken noodles were delicious, something simple and yet effectively comforting as I always love flat wide egg noodles covered in a savory sweet sauce alongside fresh vegetables. I have yet to go to a restaurant that hasn't delivered on these. As for the khao soi, it was described to us as a yellow curry that is savory, a little sweet, and a little spicy (both in spice and in spices). The curry itself tasted great and I loved the flavor it offered as it tasted similar to the more mild but sweet green curry (due to the coconut milk) but has the spice of a yellow curry in it. However, what drew me a bit away from this dish were the noodles and dry noodles. I think the noodles inside of the curry were a little undercooked (more than just al dente) and left a very chewy noodle *on top of* the already dried noodles that came with the dish. I think if I came again I would ask for this dish with rice instead of noodles since the curry itself was still very delicious and memorable. Once we were finished we also wanted a sweet treat and after some questions for our waiter we landed on the mango sticky rice. He had mentioned that despite it being outside of mango season, the restaurant still had some good, ripe mangos so we took the chance and I'm so glad we did! The mango sticky rice itself was very elegantly presented with a couple of gold leafs and a candy flower placed on top of it alongside of very sweet, ripe mangoes topped with petals. The rice itself also had some sort of crunchy, slightly sweet roasted things (I'm not quite sure what it was) that added a nice texture and flavor to the rice as well!
