    Yellow Curry

Came in on a Thursday evening with 5 adults, and 1 kiddo. There was plenty of parking and seating. The parking lot is a bit small though. It's been a while since I've been in this area and it could look a little rough from the outside. However, when walking in, the decor and ambience was very welcoming and a great place to enjoy an evening out with friends. Our party of six was seated immediately at 6:30 PM. We ordered the calamari and Thai beef jerky as appetizers. It was some of the best calamari I've had! For entrees, we shared it family style. We had crab fried rice, BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, yellow, curry, and Pad See Ew. Everything was delicious! I've never had crab fried rice before, and it was definitely unique. The Thai tea and lychee summer drink was so yummy! Almost a little too sweet though, needed to let the ice melt some. For dessert we had the trio of mango and sticky rice with pineapple coconut ice cream. It was so beautiful! It tasted just as good as it looked! The mangoes so sweet, the sticky rice was cooked perfectly with a beautiful butterfly pea sauce, and the ice cream was thick and rich. It literally looked like something you would get from a high-end restaurant. Would definitely return again when I'm back in SoCal!

Not a bad Thai spot off by itself on a corner within an old house. The servers were very happy and helpful, I couldn't complain at all. The inside was decorated well and maybe could use some fresh type scents when it's a bit empty... Once the food started coming out and more tables filled the scent of the spot is was amazing with all of the spices in the air. Food was flavorful, salted well, asked for spicy and they brought the spice to a safe level but need to entice them for more spice. The beer was okay, the Singha was just as good. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. I base all spots off of my 3 week food travels in Thailand so it can't be perfect but this spot was good for what I had.

It was our first time there with a group of 6. The staff was very nice and seated us very fast. Place had plenty of seating and was very clean. We ordered an assortment or plates. The crab fried rice was my favorite tasted amazing with a little lime over it. The yellow curry was tasty. The pad see ew was good as well. The bbq ribs were fall off the bone tasty, they were a little sweet great id you like a little sweetness. Thai chicken was cooked well was good but not as flavorful. The trio desert was awesome with the sticky rice and sauce over it with coconut pineapple ice cream and fresh mangos! Presentation was beautiful on all plates will be going back again soon!

Came here because I saw they have the Crying Tiger Dish on their menu. A nice little place with some parking spaces. The restaurant is cozy with some nice decors. Upon entering the restaurant, we were seated promptly. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Crying Tiger, Papaya Salad, Roti with Curry, and Tom Yum Soup. All the dishes were so good! Will definitely come back again when I crave for the Crying Tiger and Papaya Salad.

The best green papaya salad on the mainland

I have been violently craving a real, perfectly balanced green papaya salad for months. Ever since I had one in Maui that was an absolute masterpiece of savory, sweet, and umami, I have been chasing that dragon. This place finally nailed it. The papaya had the freshest, crispiest crunch, and the dressing did not hold back on the bold, bright, lip-smacking punch. Every single bite took me right back to the islands. If you know the struggle of a mediocre papaya salad, end your search here and order this immediately.

My wife and I came to Krung as we were craving some good Thai food and Krung Thep delivered more than we had hoped. The restaurant was just perfect, from the decor to the layout and vibe it's very peaceful, open and intimate. Service was nothing short of amazing, Chai was our host and he was phenomenal, great at suggesting beers, food and answers to any questions. The food was just something else... I got the green curry fried rice , she got one of the curry dishes , and for an app we got the spring rolls. Then capped it off with mango with sticky rice and coconut ice cream. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and just plated so brilliantly. The care and consideration to the choices to their food shows the heart that this restaurant possesses. I have not had this good of Thai food in a while and me and my fiancée both agreed we are coming back every time we think Thai food. Overall this Krung Thep is a must go and will not disappoint. Make sure you know your spice threshold too haha their food comes with a kick.

Papaya salad (Som Tum), rice, lime, and condiment tray

Krung Thep Thai Bistro is an absolute gem for authentic Thai food! Everything from the ingredients to the presentation was top-notch. The papaya salad (Som Tum) was fresh, crispy, and packed with authentic spice, and pairing it with steamed rice made for an incredible meal. Having the full Thai condiment tray on the table to adjust the heat level was a great touch. Outstanding food, friendly and fast service, and a clean, comfortable ambiance. If you're looking for the best Thai restaurant in the area, Krung Thep Thai Bistro is a must-visit!

The Thai food was amazing there the service was really good I would definitely order like three orders of those chicken wings they are amazing my kids even ate them. The ambiance was really nice I really like the decor that they had throughout the whole building. This would be a really great place to take a date or have a small family function at

Overall: 4.5 so I guess that rounds to 5 stars. Chicken satay (skewers): 4/5 (teenager said it tastes like at every other Thai restaurant) Boat noodle: 4/5 (slices of beef pieces were a little tough but flavor of this soup noodle was pretty good) Khao soi (chicken noodle): 4/5 Chicken fried rice: 4.5/5 (teenager's review) Papaya salad: 4-4.5/5 not too sour, yum (I requested no dried shrimp) Esan Sausage: 4/5 Roti: 4/5 (crispy and sweet) We've probably been here for years, tried almost every new owner/management...when we got take-out a couple weeks ago, the flavors were not bad. Definitely tastes even better eating in. One negative was either incense or oil smells were too strong as soon as I entered and that gave my daughter and me a headache. Service: nice. Parking: Sunday evening was not a problem.

The lunch specials are a great value! Includes soup, salad and entree. The pad thai and pad see ew are served fresh and hot. The noodles have so much flavor. The servers are friendly and service is quick.

Our first time here since we are not from the area. Was craving Thai food and boy, did it hit all the spots! Food was delicious, served hot right away. Our server eas very friendly and attentive and when asked what was their bestseller, he recommended the Khao soi which we tried and did not disappoint. Place was quaint, cute and feels very homey. Will definitely come back here next time we're in this area.

The Lanai is located in the Cravings food court area at The Station shopping center in Eastvale. There is plenty of parking available. We went inside to the Shuck Oyster bar and entered The Lanai from there. It is actually more of a tiki patio than an enclosed tiki bar. However, the tiki décor is great with plenty of bamboo, carved tiki figures, hanging puffer fish, tiki style signs, and many tropical accents. There are overhead fans spaced around in case it is hot outside. We had one round of drinks and several appetizers. The coconut shrimp and lightly battered Shishito peppers were great and the sauces paired well. We have had these appetizers at Stowaway before and they had the same good quality. She ordered the spicy tofu bites. I'm not usually a fan of tofu, but they were surprisingly really good. I had the Adrian's Mistake cocktail which was well balanced and a little on the strong side. She had the Right Of Passage which was good and had a light fruit flavor and you could definitely taste the mango. The one man show Brandon took great care of us. It was slow at this time of day so we got a chance to chat with him quite a bit and service was fast. They have a weekday happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. Although we didn't specifically order off the happy hour menu, three of our items, including both cocktails were part on it. I give it 4.3 stars but rounded up to five stars. I'm sure the ambience is much better in the evening when it more lively and dark outside. They have a good variety of munchies, and the cocktail menu has a good mix of tiki classics and some originals. I don't think there any many tiki bars in this area, so I hope they do well.

The restaurant was practically empty, which already gave off an odd vibe. They had a stage with live music, but it felt unnecessary given the lack of atmosphere or crowd. The food selection was very limited and mostly steamed, which didn't help with flavor or texture. That said, the omelette bar and the chilaquiles were solid -- definitely the highlight of the meal. Everything else was pretty underwhelming for a $40 price tag. They offer bottomless mimosas, but here's the kicker: it's only for women. Men have to pay an extra $15. That gender pricing didn't sit right with me. On the plus side, the service was great. The servers were friendly and attentive throughout. But overall, the place gives off more of a nightclub vibe than a brunch spot. Also -- pro tip -- the final amount you pay can vary depending on whether you use cash or card, so be mindful. Not worth the price in its current state, but it might have potential if they rework the food and atmosphere.

Since it is open air, I imagine midday can get warm and winter evenings a bit chilly, but they have plenty of heaters scattered throughout to keep things comfortable. Our server was fantastic and took the time to explain that everything is made completely from scratch, from the breads and pastas to every sauce, and the quality truly speaks for itself. The food and drinks: Chili Garlic Fries: Super crispy with bold flavor and the perfect level of kick. The house ranch served alongside is incredible. Caesar Salad: A classic, straightforward Caesar that was fresh, crisp, and exactly what you'd expect. Bolognese: Generous portion (easily shareable!) loaded with tender, flavorful chunks of meat. The creamy ricotta on top pulls the entire dish together. Carbonara: Truly authentic. Made the traditional way with egg yolks, black pepper, cheese, and savory pork bits with no heavy cream shortcuts. The pasta itself was cooked to an absolute, perfect al dente. Drinks: The NA tea was refreshing, and the fig infused bourbon Old Fashioned had wonderful flavor notes from the infusion, though it leaned slightly on the sweeter side. Quick tip on finding it: The entrance is not inside the main hotel lobby.
