This takes…read moreme to one of the many "Speedway" locations as this particular one happens to be in Pennsauken, NJ which is just a couple minutes east of Camden. What makes this location simple is that it is directly off of Route 30 (Admiral Wilson Blvd) which made getting to quite a simple process; even with me being unfamiliar with the area. I also wanted to add that I came here at night (around 8:15pm) as I needed fuel before heading back north to the Jersey City area (which was about a 90 minute drive). I will say to be very cautious when parking at one of the fuel pumps as this was not a very well-lit service station. I would also advise to wait until one of the staff members approaches your vehicle to pump your fuel (as New Jersey law prohibits customers from pumping their own gas, requiring an attendant to do it for them). The inside in your basic typical no-frills convenient store with snacks, beverages, motor oil, and the basic essentials to get you on your way. Definitely the polar opposite of a Wawa. This store could use a little bit of tender loving care but nonetheless, it gets the job done. At least the good news is that gas was a reasonable $2.99/gallon for regular (87) unleaded. Many other fuel stations are around that same price. With that said and done, I am giving the "Speedway" in Pennsauken, NJ just an average three-star rating.

This is NJ, the state where there is no self serve. When will corporate realize that they are losing a ton of business because no one will come to pump the gas. There have been instances where I just get out and pump my own gas and no one ever comes out. Disgrace!

And they did it all with a smile!! I spoke to the manager to give them goosebumps however I did not get a receipt so Steve explained to me that had I gotten a receipt they could have gotten things inside the store so next time I will make sure I get a receipt,but I really wanted to give them a shout out because they were working so hard and as a retail manager, I can appreciate thank you for your hard work guys keep on rocking!!

The bread did not taste as good as it normally does and I should've returned it but I thought maybe they changed their bread at this location (I've ordered this same sandwich many times before from this location). I did also order an iced coffee which I only took a sip of. Not because it made me feel ill but because I don't normally drink til I'm done eating. It was nice to see another location, but getting here after getting off the highway was a bit of a headache. However, once I did get into the lot and after I found a parking spot, I ran inside to use the facilities. Not unlike most Wawa locations, the facilities here ware cramped. One toilet, one urinal, not the roomiest set up, but if you need to go, you need to go. Once out of the facilities I ran to get a beverage and something small to snack on so that I could be on my way. Getting through the checkout line was easy. Once outside I stretched my legs a bit before I was on my way again towards my final destination. That is after I fought my way through the parking lot and back out on the road.
