My name is Amandah, and I'm sharing my unfiltered experience at Toussaint's Smoke Shop in Stone…read moreMountain on Sunday, June 28. I had just returned to Atlanta after spending about six weeks in Texas, where I was able to legally buy THC products from smoke shops. Sunday evening, I needed to reup but couldn't reach my usual plug, so I searched for a local smoke shop and found Toussaint's. I called around 5:11 p.m. He returned my call at 5:42 p.m., even though the store closed at 6:00. The first thing he asked was if I was the lady who had just left. I told him no, I was looking for THC flower. He told me, "I got what you need. I got some fire." I specifically asked if it was THC, and he repeatedly said yes. He told me he only had pre-rolls, but insisted they were THC, promised to "hook me up," and convinced me to drive the 19 minutes back to his store after I'd already been in the area earlier. At 6:08 p.m., he called again to make sure I was still coming. When I arrived, he was helping another customer and even encouraged him to leave a review in exchange for a discount. He apologized for making me drive back and offered me a free drink. We chatted while he recommended three different pre-rolls, telling me one brand was his best and that I'd love it. Based on his recommendations, I bought thirteen pre-rolls for about $65. Before I left, he also made comments about trying to remain "professional" because of my appearance, which immediately made me uncomfortable. Less than five minutes after leaving, I tried the pre-rolls. They tasted nothing like THC flower. Two of them tasted like potpourri or the synthetic weed that was everywhere years ago. I immediately called him and asked, "What's actually in these?" That's when he finally admitted they were THC-P, not THC. That was the first time he disclosed that. He immediately started explaining that he normally doesn't accept returns because of store policy, but said he'd "work with me" and told me to come back the next day so he could make it right. The next morning, I called after an appointment in Conyers. Instead of offering a refund or exchange, he spent most of the conversation explaining how he'd lose money because he couldn't resell the products. When I asked directly whether he planned to refund me or exchange them, he avoided answering and kept referring back to his return policy. I reminded him that I only came back because he specifically told me he had THC. Had he told me it was THC-P from the beginning, I never would've driven back. Once I pointed that out, the conversation shifted, and it became clear he wasn't interested in making it right. I ended the call. He called several more times afterward, but I didn't answer. At that point, I accepted the $65 loss because I wasn't interested in putting myself back into a situation where I felt manipulated. What bothered me wasn't the money, it was the principle. He called me back after my original inquiry, represented his products as THC when they weren't, made comments about my appearance, and then tried to hide behind a no-return policy only after I discovered what I'd actually purchased. I've also noticed that his pre-rolls aren't sealed, which raises even more questions about how they're being sold. This review isn't about getting my money back. It's about warning other customers. I'll try to include photos of the unsealed pre-rolls, my call log, and my Apple Pay receipt, and I'll also be filing a complaint with the Georgia Department of Revenue's Alcohol & Tobacco Division.
