    Ragamuffin and mocha
    Bridget O.

To begin with, the staff was so nice, Shane has excellentcustomer service skills! Keep him! . Soft spoken, polite, all the things you could want before you've had your first coffee. The location is in a historic building with plenty of space to visit with friends or do some work. The decor had a bit of a hippie vibe. The ragamuffin (apple spice) was warmed up for me and as you can see, 2 minutes in I have already eaten almost the whole thing. It's moist (sorry about the word...moist) and very tasty. My mocha was hot, creamy and very chocolate! 1 and only negative, and it wasn't their fault....GA was really cold today, so the old building was a bit chilly. Bring a sweater in winter Thanks Gilly for a great breakfast experience

We stopped through this cute little coffee shop during our roadtrip travels and I was SO impressed with not only the coffee, but the service. I ordered an iced lavender latte - I'm a sucker for lavender and this is the best lavender latte I've ever had. The lavender wasn't overpowering, it was perfectly proportioned. My bf ordered the wild honey latte and his was also fantastic - I've never had a wild honey latte before, but this one is up there for me - really incredible lattes across the board. They also made my daughter a hot chocolate, which was super kind, and she loved it - she drank almost all of it before we even made it back to the car lol Highly recommend stopping here - the customer service really blew me away, great coffee + amazing service - what more could you ask for to start your day? If we find ourselves traveling in this area again, we'll definitely come back.

Neat repurposed older 2 story home with creative drinks and incredibly friendly and caring staff. This place is my kind of place. Very chill environment, over the top friendly staff (when they brought out my drink, they asked the other customers out here if they would like some water or needed anything). Adorning the walls is variety of artwork, some for sale, in various forms and prices. Upstairs is what appears to be a working artist's studio. From the outside upstairs porch, you have a great view of the public library (a treasure in every community!), downtown Stone Mountain Village, and trees as far as the eye can see. This place will drain the stress and negative vibes right out of your body!

I cycled at Stone Mountain and decided to try this cute little coffee shop. The building is being renovated but the part that is open is very rustic and welcoming. I ordered the twice baked butter croissant which had an almond paste, powdered sugar and pecans. It was delish and I also had a cup of coffee. The service was great and they had neo soul music playing in the background which was very nice. If you are around Stone Mountain Park, stop in and give them a try.

Was going to order a plain iced van latte and the barista recommended trying something special so I got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte... you guys. SO good!! Best coffee I've probably ever had. The coffee shop is rustic (a bit run down) but it's a cute run down.. for the vibes, yanno. We got here at 11am and the pastries were already quite diminished, doesn't take away from the good taste. 11/10 am definitely planning on coming back

What a beautifully quaint and cozy stop this was during my visit to Stone Mountain. I needed to kill some time before hotel check-in so I stopped by Gilly's to do some work. First thing's first, I'm a sucker for a porch! The wrap around porches drew me in like a moth to a flame. It was a breezy Spring day, perfect for outside dining and they have plenty of spaces to choose from. The building has a Southern charm, with hardwood floors and big windows. Once inside you're greeted by their awesome staff and mouthwatering scents from the kitchen. I had a green tea that was the bomb dot com and headed upstairs to hop on their free wifi network. The place was beautiful, lively, and I really enjoyed my drink so this would definitely be one of my go-to places if I lived in the area.

Lovely and helpful staff, excellent lattes and the croissant was so flaky and buttery. I got the coffee to go so I can't say much for the seating area, but the coffee bar area was somewhat minimalist and stylish.

I met up with a friend on a Friday afternoon and the weather was simply beautiful for us to sit outside and catch up while we enjoyed a nice cup of coffee. We went inside to place our food and drink order and was told there was a pause on the kitchen, but our drinks would be out soon and our food shortly after that. It did take a long minute for our food to come, but it was certainly worth the wait. I ordered the golden latte and the Im melting tuna sandwich while my friend had a matcha latte and the lox please! We both enjoyed our meal and the ambiance. The service was great as well! There are a few other menu items that I'd like to try, so I will definitely be back!

After brunch in Avondale Estates, decided to stop by Gilly Brew Bar. I saw them come up when I was searching for brunch in Stone Mountain. It's not my usual stomping grounds but closer to my bestie. Great staff, seasonal menu and cozy space to chill, chat and sip your latte. We shared the Frenchie with sweet potato and brown sugar lattes with oat milk. Yes, this satisfied our sweet tooth! Be sure to drop in or make a point to come to Stone Mountain.

Coffee and atmosphere is really chill and good. Staff always welcoming and inviting. Friendly neighborhood coffee bar. So everyone knows everyone and will get to know you. Good place to study and get work done. Seating inside, outside and upstairs. Music always mellow and chill ( Lofi / neo soul )

Went on Mother's Day sunday afternoon. This cafe has a nice laid back vibe. Friendly customer service, the coffees were good. They didn't have any food options but they did have a food truck out back. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Old historic building- definitely read up on it.

Everyone was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing, truly 5-stars quality across the board. Even though there wasn't a children's menu, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our kids were taken care of. The chef even prepared special dishes just for them, which we truly appreciated. I can't say enough about how thoughtful and accommodating the entire team was. My guest ordered some cwing dinner that looked like a contraption. As far as the presentation was delivered. I decided on a liquid diet after seeing the food delivery Next week I personally stopped in-for lunch wanted to give this place a chance to rebound and my full attention on a fair review. I wanted to also make sure management was there. An older caucasian woman greets me well we have a cordial conversation about my previous experience and my embarrassment at such a nice looking restaurant She was unable to believe this happened at her restaurant. Just plain disbelief and raved about the kitchen and pride that goes into her food to later having to eat those words Again, limited menu what is up with the 4-5 items to chose from. I donot eat steak fries So I just ordered the burger - medium well - not burned and it had no venison mixed or blended meat added The burger came out with old brown tarnished lettuce I sent it back for fresh lettuce . She brought it back they added thousand island dressing when I specially asked for mayo on the side which was also provided. What is going on in the kitchen I took a bittersweet bite anyways and spat it out. Took my utensils which looks like a switch blade in a fairly nice restaurant. bad esthetics decisions I knifed out The center of the uncooked raw meat of the burger and waited patiently for the nice lady to find her way back over to me I offered to just pay and leave. She ask what was the problem . I uncovered the burger and allowed her to witness fir herself Her face turned beet red and quickly said no charge and stormed off to her kitchen where I am sure like "The Oak" there was a Waffle House griller reject acting as a chef " Pictures attached : I can't make my Experiences UP! #SMH you just can't get what you pay for anywhere these days Me being a restaurant consultants. I had the Mr. Benedict, which is similar to the "normal" Eggs Benedict, but with the flavorful twist of adding a crab cake to each side of the English Muffin, and came with a sauce that was similar to an Old Bay flavor, but was so creamy and delicious that I couldn't stop eating. You can tell there's real attention to detail in the kitchen. The potatoes were seasoned to perfection--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and cooked exactly how they should be. And the grits? Easily some of the best I've had in Atlanta--creamy, smooth, and full of flavor. We also had the fried lobster tail, which was cooked just right--crispy, buttery, and a great addition to the meal. On top of that, we tried the veggie burger, and it definitely held its own--well-seasoned, satisfying, and a great option on the menu. Everything from presentation to flavor was on point. This is not just another brunch spot--this is a place that delivers a full experience. Overall, Milk & Honey earns a solid 5 out of 5.
