I've tried this nail salon a few times now. In all honesty I've been trying to find one less expensive than the one I regularly go to. The prices here are definitely better than some of the other salons. However, the aesthetics aren't quite as pleasing here either, so it's a trade off. For instance, they still have all the plexiglass barriers in place at every table and every spa chair. It's not the cleanest either and my particular spa chair seamed worn out in the way the massaging components worked and the noise it was making. May be time for an upgrade. I had my eyebrows done as well and wish the person who did them would've taken a bit more time and care but I wasn't too upset with the results. ‍ Now onto the pluses! There are several employees there and each times I've gone (whether for nails or pedi) I've been taken right back. The employees all smile and seem great. I asked for a design and the lady that was doing my nails didn't seem confident enough to try so another lady came over and helped. I also noticed that a few of the other employees came to watch and it was a rather basic flower. That gave me the impression that they don't do a lot of designs regularly. Therefore I wouldn't recommend going here for any intricate designs. I am doing acrylic nails now and a fill with gel polish was only $30 plus tip! When I got an acrylic fill and had two nails designed with a flower, it was $42. Still VERY reasonable!! The pedi prices are also good compared to many other nail salons. The #3 pedi which includes hot stones and hot towels is only $35, which many salons charge for their basic pedi. Overall pleased and will likely keep going read more

I've gotten in the habit to call before hand to book my appointment because I know she will get me right! Today I booked the pedi service and and fill in for my nails. Citi nails has usually been a hit or miss for me. They usually get the design I ask for correct, but when it comes to applying the nail itself (acrylic or SNS) it's usually wavy verses smooth. At least it's pretty even when shaping the nail itself. They do have one of the biggest collections of SNS colors. SNS is somewhat better for your nails than acrylic. Doesn't eat the nail off when removing them. Wait time can take a while on the weekend, but they do offer appointments. Customer service has always been nice and helpful to be. I have been a customer for a while now. The past few months my nails have chipped after only a day or two.. Donna acts like it is my fault they chip. So anyway when I went to get them fixed today which was only 3 they wanted me to wait a long time. No it would have taken only a couple of minutes. i have a desk job so I know it isn't my fault they chip. My sister took me and some members of our bridal party here for nail work and pedicures. This was my first experience at both a pedicure and eyebrow waxing. I also got some gel nails with a design on both my big toes and my ring fingers. Overall, I have to say they did a good job. Nails are still looking good and the eyebrow wax didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Only downside is I have such freakishly sensitive skin that I still have some breakout from that the next day. This is poorest excuse for a nail salon that I have ever been too. I went there because the nail technician that I always frequent was no available and this was kind of a have to situation. But after paying their ridiculous prices for a pedi and a set of gel nails I had to go back several times. First my toe nails were grabbing on my sheets due to not being filed properly and then I had to make another trip because some of my nails were not covered completely with the polish. Their idea to correct this problem was to just polish back over them causing bubbles and uneven polish which made them look ghastly. I came here and my nails were bumpy when I left. I came back the next day and asked them to fix them. She did and she cut my finger in the process and there was nail glue on my nails and my green nails how some blue sparkles all over them now. I do not recommend going here. STAPH INFECTION WARNING!! Absolutely terrible! I came to get a pedicure and simple manicure to relax after having my baby. First the pedicure was rushed. I arrived at 3:20 for my appointment. I added on paraffin wax and a design on big toe (of which the nail tech pressured me in to getting). I was rushed through the pedicure. Shoved over for the manicure and left the building at 4:03. Talk about great service. A few days later I notice my toe is sore and giving me problems... I go to the doctor, STAPH INFECTION! So I paid $60 for a rushed job and staph infection, not worth it. So my nail tech bullied me into getting gel nails, and I hesitantly agreed. She put too much polish on and didn't let it cure long enough through coats. Now I have a mushy layer between the firm top coat. On some fingers they're fine but on others it's disgusting and oozing uncurled polish. Don't go there unless you don't like yourself lol. read more

I was refused service at this salon. This place charges extra if you have "long" nails. They also charge extra if you have a nail that is lifting (NOT BROKEN). They also charge extra for gel polish. I called and asked how much a fill in would be and they told me $20. When I showed up, they lady told me it was extra $10 because I wanted gel and had long nails. Then I told her one was lifting and she told me it was an extra $5 dollars. All of this is just fine. But I wasn't told any of this when I called. So while I was trying to confirm how much it cost before she started the services, she felt threatening by my questions and refused to do my nails. I was speaking calmly, not yelling, not being rude. There was miscommunication and I was trying to clarify what the price was and the lady couldn't handle my questions so she refused to do my nails. I work with the public professionally and I know how to talk to people. I was trying to communicate with her but I guess the language barrier made it seem like I was upset. I wasn't. I spoke with the owner and he had someone else start to do my nails. I had one nail that was lifting and she told me it would have to be removed, which is fine. Then she told me she "didn't have time" to soak my nail because I refused to let her pry it off. I will NEVER ever EVER ever come back here. read more

So let me start off by saying Citi nails is an awful nail salon and you should definitely take your money elsewhere. My sister-in-law was the first person to introduce me to this nail salon. The employees speak hardly any english so it's hard to explain what you want to them. They rush through it making it look super sloppy and messy because they're too worried about getting more costumers in for the money instead of making the costumer happy and taking their time with the nail design. I went to citi nails for about a month, I always did walk in appointments and they would sit me down with a random nail tech. One day i got the opportunity to get my nails done with a really sweet nail tech named Kira. She spoke fluent English and she took her time with the nails making them look amazing. I'm the type of person that likes a lot of crazy designs on my nails and they were hard for a lot of nail techs to get up to my standards and liking, but Kira managed to nail it every time! I loved her and I then started scheduling nail appointments specifically with Kira for about a month. I got a lot of compliments from my coworkers about my nails and a lot of people asked me where I got them done, I told them Citi Nails and i told them a sweet girl named Kira did them. Apparently I had recommended Kira so much to people that Kira started to blow up at Citi nails and everyone was scheduling appointments with her. Till one day I called for an appointment with Kira and when I got there to get my nails done a different nail tech told me that Kira wasn't available to do my nails today. even though she agreed on the phone for today I said okay I'll just come back another day. I called back about 2 days later to schedule another appointment with Kira. They told me to come Wednesday. So Wednesday came around and I walked in and Kira wasn't around or in sight, I asked a random nail tech "Hey, I had a nail appointment with Kira?" Which the random nail tech proceeded to walk me to a chair and sit me down. I assumed Kira would come out but then the random nail tech sat down in front of me and asked me what design I wanted. I said wait no.. I set up an appointment with Kira. She looked at me and said "Kira not here." I said what? Seriously? Ok I'll come back another day. About 4 days later I called for the 3rd time to setup an appointment with Kira to get my nails done. I arrived and the same thing happened, they told me Kira wasn't there. I haven't stepped foot into that nail salon since. I have no idea what happened to Kira. She was a very professional and amazing nail tech who took her time and genuinely cared about her costumers opinion and requests. In my opinion, they lied to me over the phone to get me to come in then act as if Kira was there to do my nails then she wasn't. Essentially using her. I'm not sure if Kira quit or she still works at Citi nails but if she does then she needs to get out of there and make her own nail salon because she is way too talented to be there, they are holding her back and using her for money. I will never go to this nail salon again and I recommend you don't either. Take your money somewhere where they will take their time with your nails and not make them look like crap.. very disappointing read more

All I can say is stay far away from this place. I went there to get my nails done a couple of weeks ago and was quoted "25" for the set that I wanted. But when she finally finished them she handed me a bill of "35." When I questioned her why the up charge, she says "Your nail too long." They don't have a price board in the salon, so that they can conveniently up charge you and rip you off. The whole time I was getting my nails done, I was watching them give pedicures. I had it next on my agenda. I couldn't believe what I witnessed. The girls DO NOT SANITIZE their tools after every customer. They have the tools hidden in the buckets that they carry around with dirty feet water left over from the previous customers. The tools should be in a sealed bag, like the ones the doctor's office use. I know because I've seen it done at other nail salons so I was expecting the same. The pumice stone is simply reused customer, after customer. That really made me uneasy. I was so disappointed with them that I had to leave to another place to get my pedicure. I went over to Elegant Nails by Bojangles. The place is beautiful and the people are just lovely. They speak ENGLISH!! It is clean and very peaceful. Unlike citi nails where people scream and shout in the language across the salon. It's okay to speak another language but don't yell and scream continuously. I go to the salon to relax and treat myself not to get aggravated. And seeing the previous review about the woman who brought her relative w/down syndrome gets my blood boiling. This place is one of the most horrible places I have ever visited... I've been here like 5 times and every single time the girl that answers phone calls and makes appointments... has the worst attitude ever! Also they made me wait for like 1 hour and a half just to get a pedicure. I've never waited that long at a nail salon before. I got my manicure done and the lady messed up the whole set, they were all crooked and had peices of little hair in the polish. What a nightmare!!!!!!! Great work, but never open on time. This is my only fault with them. I'm always waiting at 9:00am and have to wait in car, by the time they open others are lined up ahead of me, causing me to wait longer. If you are not opening until 9:15 put it on the sign. I was so unbelievably upset leaving the nail salon that I went next door to Sally's to try and salvage this awful SNS that I received. The lady that did my nails barely spoke English so everything was repeated and shown to her several times. She was very rough on my nail beds and laughed when I pulled away because she got too close to my skin and it sanded it a bit. I wanted a few cute couple little flowers to make the colors go together but she didn't have anything and didn't bother to say anything until the SNS color was completed. I was frustrated at that point and just said to put the shiny coat on and let me pay and the lady started talking in her native language fusing as it appeared to me. Someone else ended up finishing the job but what makes me angry is that she didn't even try to come up with something to make everything work together or say let's do something else instead. I will NEVER go back to Citi Nails. I originally went to get SNS nails but ended up getting acrylic after I was told that SNS nails would cost me $50 and if I wanted a French fade it would cost at least $20 more. I was told that a full set (acrylic) would cost $25 and my understanding of a full set means tips, acrylic, and either a French manicure or one color for $25. Well apparently their definition is different from mine since she charged me $30 for getting one color because my nails were "long". I have never heard anything like that from any other salon I've ever been to. She was also going to charge me $5 extra for getting coffin nails but I was able to get out of that one (I pretty much had to argue with her that I wouldn't be getting my nails done if that were the case). She barely painted the tips of my nails to the point that the tips of some of my nails didn't even have polish on them, the shape was somewhere between round and coffin, and my nails were not smooth AT ALL!! I was so frustrated that I literally just wanted to get out of there. I have never broke a nail while having acrylic on before but it's understandable that it may happen but I literally broke a nail in my sleep less than 2 days after getting them done. So I went back to the salon and asked if they could fix it. The man at the register said yes so I thought they were going to just fix it for me to make things right. I was wrong, they had the same lady that originally did my nails, fix my broken one and I also asked that she fix the shape of the rounded ones. They ended up charging me $5 to fix the nail which isn't alot but considering the circumstances, I think it should have been free. They never pushed back my cuticles or did anything to them, it was the WORST service I have ever received from a salon and they will never get my business again. read more

Hi, I went to citi Nails today with a girl that is 23 with downs syndrome. We wanted to do some girl things today so we went there.When we walked in the lady came up to us and said CAN HER NAILS EVEN BE PAINTED. I told her of course they can. I thought i would let that slide. Well i should have left then. Children and adults with downs have nail. Well i ask my girl if she wanted to have her toes painted at first she said no. As we sat there she was looking around and told me she wanted them done. The Man that was working on me said u tell her. I said what me i dont know her name so he turned and told her my girl wanted her toes painted. The woman said NO I said what she said No dont have time look and she pointed to the front of the store. I said we would wait we have all day. After i sat there i was in shock!!! after my nails were painted i got up he told me to go dry. i grab my pocket book got my card out MESSED MY NAILS UP SPENT 5 MINS TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO JEN THAT WE WOULD GO SOMEWERE ELSE AND GET OUR TOES DONE AND REPAINT MY NAILS. I TOLD THE LADY LET ME TELL YOU DOWNS IS NOT CONTAGIOUS BUT IGNORANCE AND STUPIDY WE WOULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THEN SHE SAID I WILL DO TOES I SAID YOU DID NOT EVEN WANT TO DO HER NAILS I WAS LOUD AND PISSED.
