First and foremost I went to this nail salon and it was appointments only which I figured was fine because it was a Wednesday and I figured how many appointment's could they really have so I went in an asked did they have availability for two pedicures one on a man and a manicured (full set)) on a women and he said clearly he could do one pedi and a mani and I said okay he said no go with your husband trying to be funny and refused my service. I had a lovely experience.My nail tech was named Christina and she was wonderful. I initially chose a different solid polish but later decided prior to coloring, a completely different design. Which she did instead with ease, even free handed more gold foil placements for fun. My nails looks great and I loved the friendly atmosphere here. Fair pricing. Will definitely be returning! AWFUL!!! The lady doing my nails couldn't speak or understand a single word of English. My experience was so bad I had to tell her to stop (which her coworker had to tell her to do) and then the coworker who was working on someone else had to stop and try to fix my nails. I made her stop as well. I paid (don't ask why I did, I just wanted out of there), went home only to cut all my nails down and let them grow out with even lengths. I'm the worst nail biter in the history of forever. And that's just what I did. Then instantly regretted it. I was in search of a place close to home for a simple full set (acrylic). Citi Nails was the first thing I found. I decided to give it a try, even with my terrible nubs. I went in and was treated very politely. I explained to Shelby exactly what happened and what I wanted to do. She agreed and she worked very diligently to make my nails look beautiful. She never once made a nasty remark or look about my terrible nails. I usually get remarks about biting my nails, as if I don't already know I shouldn't, I don't need a lecture from someone that I AM PAYING. Shelby was incredibly polite and chatty. They offered my son a Capri sun and some early Halloween candy. I 110% recommend this place. We will FOR SURE be back! read more

Citi Nails should be your "go to" nail salon in the Fort Bragg area. Melody and Christina are true professionals. The salon is always clean and everyone is so courteous. While They are closed on Sundays you can call for an appointment. My nails and toes always turn out better than expected. read more

Just an update - Although I was really unhappy with my past gel mani experience I was pleased with my brows the first time around. I went into the nail salon for another brow wax yesterday and of course... It was another disappointment. Yet again, I had to wait for over 45 mins for a quick brow wax. The owner did my brows and ended up getting some of the wax below my eye (upper cheek area) and waxed that, too. I left looking like I had a giant red tear drop tattoo and she said nothing. When leaving the back room, I noticed that they use OLD MAGAZINE SHREDS as WAXING PAPER!!! How unhygienic can that be?!! She was cleaning up her scraps of paper and it looked like she had been ripping my waxing sheets out of an old TV Guide. Again, do not make the same mistake I did!!! There are many other salons in the area that have a similar color selection to choose from. read more

The prices have gotten higher and higher and it's really not all that great or any different than it has been for years except those prices and for the past year I never knew who was going to charge me for what services the price was different every time I went in there. I am beyond upset with the outcome of my service here! They use to have a fabulous tech working there and she did my nails twice. Loved it. In fact, for my daughter's 16th birthday I made her wait to come here to see said tech. I called and asked if she still worked there and was told yes. I took my daughter in with my Tuesday morning right as they opened only to find out she doesn't work there anymore. I hesitantly agreed to stay and have the owner do my gel nails and another tech do my daughter's full set. Where do I begin? ! First, the secondary tech only gave my daughter a gel manicure after we said many times we wanted a full set of uv gel nails put on for her birthday present. My daughter felt uneasy correcting him once he started the wrong thing. Secondly, he kept flirting with her making her uncomfortable. We told the owner and she just laughed and said he was only flirting. (No duh! ) Then the owner... Very nice lady, however, I showed her exactly what I wanted my nails to look like (square and thin). I paid extra for uv gel polish to match my existing pedicure. The only thing done correctly was the color of the polish! I spent the rest of the day and some of today filing them into the desired look. Unfortunately, some of the nails have been originally placed on crooked and cannot be saved. I finally gave up in tears today and clipped them off. In fact, the only reason I'm writing this review is because I am on yelp trying to find a place that can take the remaining gel nails off and place new ones on. 91.00 bucks (55.00 for mine, 20.00 for my daughter and I always tip~ I just never go back) down the drain at this place! read more

I was going to this nail shop off an on for over a year, until yesterday! I made an appointment early in the morning for the afternoon. Showed up on time, driving from 40 minutes away. I arrived, one of the other nail techs went to the back room, to apparently tell mine I had arrived. After about 10 minutes she finally comes out to greet me with a serious attitude. I then proceeded to show her a picture of what color I wanted and after showing me a few colors I didn't like, she tells me very rudely "well let me know when you find what you want", and goes back to the back room returning to apparently her lunch, cause she had mentioned she was eating her lunch which was apparently priority over doing her job. By now it's 20 minutes AFTER my appointment time. Needless to say, I put the polish back and left. I've never been treated so rudely and unprofessional like that at a place of business, let alone any nail shop anywhere. Some people may need to find another profession that doesn't deal with the public, you are very unprofessional!! read more

Having just moved here I was excited to see a nail salon nearby. Unfortunately the horrible smell in the salon and high prices caused me to turn around and walk out! I can't comment on the service because the smell from nail polish, glue, and acetone was so strong, all of the workers must be constantly high from the fumes!! Very disappointed! I get my nails done regularly and have never had to leave due to lack of ventilation, and I am NOT sensitive to smells!!!!!!!!! read more
