My daughter and I were in need of a dip manicure (me) and a polish change for her. We decided to stop by here so we didn't have to drive across town to our regular nail salon. We walked in, an older gentleman greeted us and I asked how much these services were. He told me $50 for my dip manicure and $25 for a regular manicure. We were sat down on the left hand side of the salon and I noticed the counters were stained and full of loose powder every where. Nevertheless, I sat down and the disheveled lady told me if I wanted a manicure it would be an extra $10- so $60 for a dip manicure which is not what the man had quoted me prior. At that moment, my daughter asked to only have a polish change and the lady agreed but not before she started pushing gel instead of regular polish. At this point, I was disgusted by their prices, their lack of cleanliness and their pushyness, so I thanked them for their time and told them I would not be needing their services. We walked out to them speaking in their language. I ended up driving to my regular nail salon. I would not waste your time here. There are plenty of businesses around here with far better customer service and cleaner establishments. read more

I'm still looking for my go to place for a pedicure in Fayetteville. This was near another errand I was running that day so I stopped in. Husband was with me. We walk in and its huge and beautiful. But...no one is in front to greet us. We have to walk half way to the back before a staff member actually said...What do you want? I should have walked out but I pushed on, my soles needed to be tended to. We were motioned to massage chairs, and I said..where do I pick a color? You see hundreds of polishes on the walls but no way to access them. The gentleman brought me those plastic nails on a card held together with circle things and said..you want gel right? I say no thank you, I pick a color (pink temptation) and we get started. They hand my Husband a book to choose which type of pedicure we want, he has no idea and hands it to me. They have a lot of options, we went with the deluxe, which is oddly one of the most basic ones. I asked that my nails be cut short and square. This man filed them so short that I screeched in pain several times. I later learned that he had filed my skin off. The pedicure includes a ten minute massage, for which he set a timer and showed me. He pinched and squeezed my feet and legs very hard, and dug his nails into the bottoms of my feet. I pulled away from him several times and said ouch. He laughed. I asked him to stop and he showed me the timer. The polish job itself is decent. The man that handled payment at the end, who had been roaming around drinking coffee..not very personable. Came to get a fill, and mani and pedicures for my daughters. I sat down for my fill and told the lady that my nail was broken. She then cut down my acrylics, and then brought out the cuticle cutters to take the acrylic nail off. She pressed down on my nail, between the acrylics and ripped my nail off. Mind you, my nails were 1/4" from the tip of my fingertip. Sh*t hurt. I then let her know that I would just like my acrylics to be taken off, and she rolled her eyes at me and didn't even apologize. I didn't make a scene or fuss... but they charged me $20 to get my nails taken off. Left without getting my daughters nails done at all... just be wary. I'd give 0 stars if I could... because I sat there for awhile and they don't clean the counter top or get up from their stations to wipe down their area after someone leaves. This is the worst nail spa I've ever been too the owner she thinks she knows everything and don't know anything. Charged me $65 just to polish my nails and toes and put some foil on my nails. Had to go back and get them fixed after the first night she did the polish to thick and didn't allow it to dry I kept telling her it was wet. Had to take them all off and do them over, the second day she had to fix five of my nails due to the same issue. BEWARE I used to really like this place but Saturday morning 8/6/22 right after 9am I came in to get a manicure Gel and my eyebrows arch. Long story short the guy who was doing my nails talked me into getting a full set. I wish I never listened instead of a manicure and the girl who did my eyebrows had never seen her before. It was her first time doing my eyebrows and it was horrific! My nails are completely uneven and he went heavy on the acrylic, after the lady did my eyebrows she wrapped them with baby oil and sent me on my way so when I got outside in the heat my skin burnt basically. I went back into the location explaining to them that my skin was burning and she blamed it on me not having my eyebrows done in a while when in reality instead of putting baby oil on fresh wax eyebrows you should use ALOE!!!! Sadly, I can't recommend Envy Nails. Positives: Friendly staff; Nice, bright environment. Not-so-Positives: Worst gel manicure I have had (as outlined below); I prefer a salon which uses packaged sanitized tools which they open in front of you. As I approached the salon there was an older gentleman out front smoking a cigarette. As I entered the salon, he followed me in and asked if he could help me. I stated that I wished to get a gel manicure and told him I only wanted clear gel, no color. He had me sit down at a table and low and behold, he was my nail technician, smelling like smoke and all. He sat down with a red basket with some tools (clippers, nippers, cuticle pusher) in it. No indication if the tools had been sterilized or cleaned prior to being used on me. I should have asked but didn't. The manicure itself was cursory and not satisfactory. He didn't do a good job of cleaning up my cuticles at all. My nails were left uneven and when I asked him to straighten one out, he had a hard time even doing that so I didn't ask to have the others straightened out. He then proceeded to put just one coat of the clear gel on my nails and was going to be finished. When I asked him why he was only using one coat, he asked me if I wanted another and I replied, "yes, a couple of more." One coat is not enough to make the nails sturdy as gel is intended to do. He put one more coat on and that was it. He then applied lotion to my hands and did a cursory hand massage. I would have mentioned the hand massage not being better but his hands were so rough that I didn't care to have him touching me any longer. He left a ton of lotion on my hands and gave me a paper towel to rub the excess off. At that point, I noticed my nails were dull and tacky (not shiny as a gel manicure normally is.) I asked him if it was the lotion causing that effect and he stated that yes, it will be smooth and shiny when I wash my hands. Wrong! When I got to the next place I was going and washed my hands, my nails remained dull and tacky feeling and they have remained that way. I now have to find a place to get them redone today since I am leaving tomorrow morning to go out of town. $30 wasted. And because I don't like confrontation, I even gave him a good tip. Still on the hunt for a new, better nail salon/nail technician. I won't be returning to Envy Nails. read more

He tugged and pulled and had this uncomfortable contraption that lifted my arms and he needed to look so closely that I was consistently adjusting in my seat. The way he filed my nails felt like my 3 year old nephew was trying his hand at a new project. He filed at least 4 different times and my nails are still uneven.
