Citi Trends is a really cool Beauty Store out in the Barrio right off of Interstate 10 close to the best auto mechanic in the region - Carrillo - and not far from some really good food places. Such as Tostada Regia - the East Freeway location. They have good stuff and Barbie likes going in here but they do have customer service issues for sure as they gave her the third degree about taking a picture of the hours on the door. And sometimes they're closed when they're not supposed to be. She says - This is a really cheap clothing store, when they're open. I found some really sexy porn type lingerie here. Their clothes are fun juniors type clothing. They had to close temporarily because of hurricane damage. I'm bumping them up to 5 because attitudes aside, they deserve it. read more

I mean , when coming to Citi trends what are you really expecting ? Nothing extravagant. Honestly , the store was thrown all over the place they had things in the wrong place everywhere the clothes were last seasons knockoffs / cheap versions and really in all reality the attitudes of the employees were SO SHITTY in particularly this older black lady ( I think she was the manager ) her attitude was so shitty she made me not even want to patronize the establishment and do her a favor by lowering labor. My grandma wanted to get socks and pj's for my nephew so I got it. I would've felt better if we'd have went to Ross or Burlington and spend an extra 2 or 3$ on Nike socks and not so damn angry sales associates. It's gonna be a never again for me. read more

C-I-T-I CITI TRENDS is a no win for me. I went in out of curiosity to see if I could find a trendy yet fashionable blouse or dress to wear to an event that called for all white. Since I'm not a fan of wearing white and do not wear it often, I did not want to spend a lot on the outfit. There were a few nice looking pieces in the store--far an in between--but a few that catch your eye. However, if you're observant like moi, you will see the shoddy "workmanship" let me be honest-cheaply made knockoffs that have available in the store. If you're the kind of person who seeks quality clothing, then this place is NOT for you. I do have to say that the shoes are quite ecentric and interesting, but there is absolutely no cushion in shoes from stores like this. You'll pay in the long run going to the doctor to remove those bunions and fix those hammer toes from trying to look cute in 2 cent fashions. The only positive I can give for this store was the customer service. There was a blouse that I thought I could pull off for an evening affair (darkness is a girl's best friend for cheaply made attire), but there was no price tag on that particular item. After asking an employee on the floor about it, she looked around until she found the display for the item in the store versus telling me or pointing me in the direction of the item. Of course, that is what anyone expects from retail workers in the store, but I think no one is surprised that this is less common and applauded when it is done with a smile.
