Bought 2 more pairs of shoes ugh, why are they doing this to me the service was great and there was no line, which was surprising. A friend told me about this location and yes it will go into my weekly/monthly rotation. I found the black Nikes that I have been searching for and the leather slides were a win too. The colorful Nikes were nice but not a great fit. read more

It's no secret, I'm not a big fan of Ross and T.J. Maxx because these stores always seem chaotic to me and I find it difficult to find what I need.... until now. This Ross store is the newest addition to the Clear Lake City Marketplace shopping center. It is small in comparison to other stores of the same genre but super well organized, clean, and the customer service is great. Maybe it is the smaller feel that really made this store a pleasant place for me to peruse in. Thy had a really cute selection of home decor items from pictures and mirrors to rugs and furniture all very well priced. The shoe selection was on the smaller side, but apparel was very well stocked and I found some cute spring items I can't wait to wear. Overall, this is a good alternative to having to go to the Baybrook traffic disaster area that carries a good selection and is super convenient to the folks in the inner 'burbs. read more

Hands down the cleanest Ross I've ever been to! I was seriously so impressed. From the sales floor to the dressing rooms and (most importantly) restrooms, everything was neat, organized and clean! A breath of fresh air from the majority of the Ross stores I've been to. And the staff members were all very friendly as well. I don't live on this side of town but I told a friend of mine that I would definitely drive out of my way to visit this specific store. Kudos to y'all at this location! read more

Whenever you work the fitting rooms at a clothing store, you stay in your area and wait for people to come to the fitting room so you can assist them. When i looked around and didn't see anyone and grabbed a number, some tall lady working on November 21st at 6:40 pm and said excuse me ma'am and i stopped and she told me to set them on the rack - so i did, literally 15 seconds pass then i showed her the number 4 because i had four clothing items and proceeded to grab my clothes, she put her finger in my face and said she needed to count it still. Rudely pointing to the dressing room and said you can go back now. Didn't think much of it until she talked sh** to another employee about me and told her to watch out for me coming out. If you wanna talk about customers - make sure you do it when they aren't listening. Step 1 of working in a customer service place. read more

The only reason this store gets a 3 from me is bc of the merchandise and the cleanliness of the store. The two sales associates I encountered today should not represent the store. Neither of them were friendly and one of them was the supervisor. I'm hoping it was just an off day bc the attitude alone would prevent me from going back. read more

I LOVE this chain of stores. It's like treasure hunting, you never know what kind of a little goodie you're going to find. I can hardly wait for them to open back up after this stupid so-called pandemic. I always find great bargains at any of their stores that I go into. The dressing rooms and customer service are great! We found lots of shirts and even some really cute jeans for my petite, hard to fit daughter. It's close to home, the air conditioning was perfect and there is lots to look at. I can see why my teenager wanted to come back here. It was the first visit for me and my college age daughter. We all decided we'd look here first before driving to the mall because it's so convenient to our HEB. read more

So came here to get store credit for some clothes. Went to look around and picked up a couple of things. Went to pay and had the same exact girl at the cash register. I waited for my new store credit balance and she tells me I used it all up. I asked her is she seriously telling me I used up exactly the same amount as I had and she tells me yes. My husband tells her look at the receipt, I only used half. She looks at the card she took from me and the receipt and is like "oh" and changes the amount to show that I did indeed still have half the amount left over. No apology. Unbelievable. Pretty sure she did this on purpose. Never coming back to this store again. They never even have anything good, hence why I only spent half of my store credit and had to return stuff in the first place. read more

Really clean and new store in the new HEB plaza. The store is a bit smaller than the one in Bay Area, but it's well organized, so that's a plus. I've found a few great items, but with any Ross store, you never know what you'll find and when. If you're in the area and have some time to kill, I recommend going to this store! read more

This is such a cool store . All prices are reasonable and honestly cheap compared to other places . Dresses and decore are nice as well. Most Importantly ; they actually have plus and different sizes for women . I highly recomend this store read more

This Ross is very well-organized, and it stocks some really cute clothes. The prices are, of course, very low. And the selection is just great. Don't go into this store expecting it to be as organized as normal retail stores, but it is more organized than most other ross stores read more

So if you buy mens or women's white or black solid crew t shirts , under shirts in the pack or under wear in the packaging let me tell you that they purposely punch a big whole straight through the garments and packaging with security tags that ruin the garments and u don't know till u take it home and look at it. Don't think it's small either bc when u put it on u can see the whole and when you was it appears like simular to moth bits, small cigarette whole or small snag. Don't buy this junk read more
