Citi Wine is deceptively small from the side of the road. Once you walk in though, you'll be impressed by its high ceilings and how organized the store is. Our usual go-to liquor store is Tower on Buford Hwy, but we were looking for some place close-by this time around. We were seriously impressed by the selection of bourbons and how they occasionally do tastings with an actual tasting room. We'll definitely have to check this out some time. Otherwise, I guess you can't really compare Citi to other franchised stores. Citi is definitely going to be our place to go now since we can't buy liquor from the Total Wine at Perimeter (it's only that location for some reason), and now we don't really have to go all the way to Tower in Chamblee. read more

I had a great experience shopping here. I heard they might have a specific item in stock. I called and spoke with Will on the phone who checked and confirmed that they had the item. He was also kind enough to set it aside behind the counter for me so I could drive over and get it. He was kind, courteous, and really professional. Super impressed with the level of customer service! Even though I don't live close to this store, I would definitely go back thanks to the customer service. read more

Four "I'm a fan" stars simply because they carry Fernet-Branca. I was in town staying with friends in East Cobb while house shopping, and this was the closest store that carried my favorite booze. Woulda been five stars if the prices weren't so high though! $30 for a bottle of F-B is outrageous (I'm used to paying around $26 "back home" in California where prices for virtually everything are higher than in ATL). read more

Just tell us the real price. This isnt 2001 and no we don't carry cash. Yes they charge you more for the alcohol and no they don't tell you. They ask you if you pay cash debit or credit. That's it. They are the rudest people. I will not give them my business. On Thursday, we went to a restaurant next door to Citi wine. The parking lot in front of the restaurant was full and it was also pouring down rain. We went into Citi wine to ask if we could park in their lot. They said no. They had a few customers but the lot can hold about 20 cars. We were only in the fast food restaurant for about 30 minutes. They could have been friendly and said you can park for 30 minutes, but they didn't. I'm sure this could be a problem but in the middle of the week on a very rainy day I don't think they would need all their parking spaces. I'm all for helping a neighbor. They aren't. read more

My husband and I go here all the time. We are literally there at least 3 to 4 times a week picking up vodka, minis, or beer or a combination of the sort. We are usually greeted with smiles and and healthy "how are you doing?" But nor tonight. We lost our 3 1/2 year old a little over a year ago. Some days are really hard to handle, this being one of them. I had a horrible flash back to when my daughter was screaming while laying on top of me the night she passed away. I told my husband all I wanted was some vodka to just calm my nerves. Unfortunately, this is how we both cope with the tragic loss of our daughter sometimes. My husband came to your store about 10 minutes left until the store closed. Not only did my husband get greeted with a rude and obnoxious cashier, she was completely out of line when speaking to my husband. Now, I understand having a bad day. Trust me. I have worked in the service industry for over 20 years. With that being said, no matter how bad a day you are having, someone else may be having a much worse day than you. Clearly this woman was ready to leave and was not happy that someone was in their store so close to closing. Mind you, there were other customers in the store as well. My husband walked in and went straight to the counter. He paid for our pint and walked out. Then thought about it, and went back in to basically tell this woman he understood she was ready to go, but the only reason he was there so late and so close to close is because he was getting vodka for his wife who was having a hard time tonight dealing with a traumatic memory of our child screaming in pain the night she passed away. Now, he didn't have to do that, but she needed to understand that her attitude was not helping our horrible situation. If you work in the service industry, you must always remember that no matter how bad a day or night you are having, there is always someone else out there having a much worse day than you. We will NOT be going to this store again. Congrats on losing loyal customers City Wine. And we will be telling our friends about our experience. read more

I happened into this establishment earlier this afternoon, and I found a lovely collection of beer and spirits that I wanted to bring home. Amidst all of that I encountered the best customer service I can say I have ever had the fortune of encountering in a liquor store.
