Employees take their sweet time when customers are waiting in line for service. The employees seem to disappear, even though the lines are not long--usually only one to three people at most. However, I have had great experiences at other branches, including Citi Bank on Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim, Citi Bank in Whittier, and Citi Bank in Tustin, CA. I recently closed my account because of the poor service at the Euclid branch. read more

Not a lot to comment here but just flagging the fact that they don't offer change for non-members, even just quarters. I stopped by an ATM to get cash, then realized I needed $10 worth of quarters. I walked in, and the inside seemed clean. There was no wait, I walked to the teller for what i thought an easy transactions. Just to find out, they don't give change to non-member because they have to process the transaction through their system. Not very welcoming for new potential clients. If CITIBANK ever offers you a promotion by opening an account when you are depositing a large amount. Say NO. They will lie to you when you will receive the promotion credits. They will say 4 months, then 5 months, then 6 months. I have used this bank for 30 years, they have never given me any benefits. I am going to move to another bank. This bank sucks. No loyality promotions. Just lying about their promotions and provide harassing and bad services. What's not to like, open Saturdays. Has a homelike atmosphere. They are fast and friendly. They're willing to work with you. Easy access, parking,.ATMs outside but well-lit and a lower one for wheelchairs and walkers; also a lowered counter and regular chairs at teller windows. read more

Today before Noon I entered CITI Branch #268 Anaheim-N Euclid with a check in my hand and my CITI debit card to make a simple deposit into my savings account. There was only one teller working at the time. There was one customer in front of me and very quickly seven more behind me and nobody came to help as a teller. Not speaking to anyone particular person, but loud enough so that everyone in the bank could hear me, I asked "Is there anyone else who can assist us as a teller?" Of course, there was no response or reaction from any of the employees sitting in cubicles. Since there was no response people in line actually started to leave. I then stated "This is horrible customer service." Finally a man got up from his desk and asked me to come over to him. I refused as there was an elderly man who was patiently waiting in line ahead of me. I told the male CITI employee that he should assist the man ahead of me and that I refused to cut the line. The CITI male employee never spoke to the man in front of me nor the others behind me but just went back to his desk. The others in line thanked me for speaking up as they were on their lunch hours and could not waste time in the bank to make simple transactions. Finally at 12:12pm another employee came from a cubicle and assisted the next person in line which was me. Why such horrible service? Why not have more tellers especially during lunch time? The branch does not open until 10am so nobody there should have been at lunch. Don't customers come first? Back in the day CITI used to have a drop box in which I could simply complete a deposit ticket, endorse my check and put it in one of your envelopes before putting in the deposit drop box. If you are not going to have more tellers at least put the drop box back. I will stop using this branch as the customer service is horrible. At no time did the manager ever come over and identify themselves to me nor the other people in line and apologize nor offer an excuse. read more

Went to this location because it's down the street from my house, and I was in a rush to open another checking account. The teller greets me and asked how he could help me. I told him I needed to open a checking account. He looks at the manager and the manager starts talking to him. He then tells me I need to bring a bill with my address on it because my ID doesn't have my current address. I said ok, well what else can I show you because I need to get this done? They tell me to bring a W-2 then dismisses me. Both teller and manager were extremely rude. They had horrible attitude and customer service. One person in particular I want to give a shout out to is Junior, he is just a fantastic young man who is very respectful and gracious. Junior helped my husband and I figure out which checking account was best for us. He greeted us as soon as we walked in, and he answered all of our questions for us. I work in the banking industry, so I know how hard it can be to make each customer feel like they're your only customer when you see so many faces walk through the door. He made us feel like he was taking special care of us, and I was even thinking of moving all of my primary accounts to this branch as a result of his customer service. My only issue with the branch is that it has that old dusty smell and the chairs in the lobby look very dirty. Fed up with this bank, especially this branch! I walk into cash a check with 2 people at the teller and only myself line. I come to this bank every couple of weeks. As the line begins to build I am finally called to a window where I am told I have to wait in line again! I was here before every other person in line ! Worst customer service ever, I walked in because I lost my ATM card, there's no sign in clipboard so I sat down since the two reps were helping other customers at the moment. So I waited 15 min , not once did anyone ask what I needed, mind you the male and females made eye contact with me not once did they say I'll be right with you, not even asked what I needed at this point it has been 29 min that I was there . Which I thought was weird because the other branches customer service reps are friendly and give you an ETA on when they will be able to help . so when one of the reps (white girl) was done with the customer she was working with she didn't ask me anything at this point I said excuse me can someone help me she said I have to leave she turns around and looks at the male rep(Latino guy) and he replies I have another appointment in 10 min mins you no one was there waiting, I replied by saying I need an ATM replacement the white girl said the teller can help you. What! I was like whatever went to the teller she repeated my address and everything for her to mail it to the wrong apartment really! Never again will I come to this branch . I don't have an account with this bank, but let me just say that everyone at this bank is so nice and helpful. I always come here to cash my checks and I never feel any pressure from them to open an account. I'm always welcomed in and there's hardly any wait. The few times there's been a line, someone always opens another teller window to help the next guest. Spent over 30 minutes here. To get a debit card repinned. Ridiculous. And it's still not done! Waste of my time. The pros: The staff all greeted us. Attentive to customers waiting around. The cons: None of the staff knows how to communicate with each other. Every person that greeted us asked if we were being helped. Great, leave it at that, or if you want to help speed up the process, go ask your fellow employee to see what the situation is, how you can help or at least what the progress is so you can update the disgruntled customer. NOT make the customer explain the whole situation over and over. It is quite annoying. Then your only response is to, "let me check on that for you," or the same generic thing the first person said. Annoying much? First teller told us to call customer service. We already did and they said to go into a branch. So we explained that to the teller. Then she notified us the card wasn't activated. That's also incorrect. When the card was received we took it into a branch and activated it and created a pin for it before we went on vacation. For some reason after we left California, the pin didn't work. We used it for days as credit. So the card was working and is active. We were told to use it in the ATM to activate it. Still didn't work. Then the teller said to please wait as she contacted customer service. So we waited. In the time we waited, two more people came to ask us what we were waiting on and to re-explain the whole situation. If things couldn't get more annoying. We wait more then the final verdict was, we start resetting the pin through customer service so we would need to wait to receive the new pin, come activate it and then repin it. Only AFTER we wait a few more days for the pin to arrive in the mail. The process was started with CS so it needed to be completed with CS. Can you all get someone with higher authority giving the right information so that we don't get the run around? This is not convenient in anyway. Now, we wasted 30-45 mins sitting around waiting to NOT be able to use the card (bc it's maxed out for the day) and nothing was solved. I'm sure there could have been something done to help us but the people there just couldn't do it. That's why they gave us this run around excuse. Stupidest thing I've ever heard. You can't help a physical customer who is there bc of customer service started it? Cancel it and start over in the branch. Lastly, the name is spelled incorrect on the card. The only way to fix that is to contact the person who originally opened your account? What if you moved from another state? What if you opened it years ago and don't remember? What if the person who opened your account no longer works for the bank? You can't make a note in your system to have it change by anyone else? Outrageous. Never coming back here again. If I have to drive 20 miles to another location, I would. To me this location might as well no be on the map. Inefficient and time consuming. Never recommending it to anyone. All you did was piss me off more. I'm sure that another location can better fix this that you. P.S. There was maybe two other ppl who came in in the whole time we were there and it still took that long. So it's not as if they were busy. read more

This location is very hit or miss for me. I've never had great luck with the teller Sara, she just seems like she'd rather be somewhere else. But the other folks I've dealt with have been fine. The employees are nice but the banks procedures are so complicated that even there on employees get frustrated. Calling their 800 number is even more frustrating they keep you on line holding for long time and yet don't give satisfying resolutions. Citiban took over my AT&T credit card and the quality of service went down. They have a dysfunctional telephone system for customer service. Yesterday, I had a problem with a charge on my statement and called several times theit toll-free number to resolve the issue. Yesterday, I was put on hold for almost an hour before I gave up. Today, their automated system (that everybody has to go through before being connected to a human representative) switches to Spanish that I don't understand and then hangs up on me. I tried three numbers listed on their website with the same result. Then I called Citibank number for all card services. This one made me listening to their irritating advertisments and then transfered me to an automated enrollment in paid services that I did not want without an option to back out. So, as of now, I cannot call a human at Citibank to resolve my problem. And this is not the fitst experience of that kind that I had with Citibank. The problem I have is: I mailed my full payment a week in advance, but they processed it (I guess due to 4th of July holoday) the next day after the due date and assessed a $25 fee on my $78 balance. I consider this a rip-off. There are many excellent credot card with excellent customer service. So why use Citibank? read more

I just went to go open a corporate account with citi bank. ( I've already been with them for 4 years with my other business account) George Salazar basically refused to help me open an account & tried to talk me out of even applying? Why? My only assumption is that he judged us off of our apparel unaware of the $25,000 check I had in my pocket for the initial deposit. Not only that but he expressed that my business was subject blocked from transactions at anytime which would interrupt our business, (which has never happened to any of my other accounts) that he didn't want to open our account & get in trouble & that he would have to contact their fraud department prior to opening the account. His whole demeanor was uninviting and made it clear he didn't feel we were worth his time to assist us with our account. I will be closing my other account as well. read more

Last time I ended up waiting over an hour before I just left. I thought this time it would be different but I was wrong. I don't have an account here but needed to cash a check. I waited in a very long line only to be told that they need to help their members first. I had to leave and go to my car to calm down because that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Came back and the next teller was more helpful. Turns out the first person that helped me was the manager. Her name is Nichole. Not sure why she is a manager. Her customer service skills are horrible. Proper Customer service should be provided to everyone regardless of your status in the bank. What if I was thinking about opening an account? Now I will definitely never try to open an account here ever again. I will remain loyal to my Schoolsfirst bank who has been nothing but helpful to me for the 16 years I've been with them.
