Waited until Nov.2025 to get my price, but I was told Nothing came yet. back and force I back again, today I heard since my CD added to an existing account on Feb. 2025, not a new account. A receptionist at the front desk put my name down on the list at 11:35 AM. I waited till 12:20 pm to see a banker for making a small change to my account. Ciita lin ignored me when I inquired about my wait time, and came back with a prime Dona attitude. During my wait, I witnessed almost a half dozen disgruntled customers walking away with frustration and disappointment. TARP may save you once, but won't bail you out as always. read more

Customer service is decent amongst staff except for Jennifer Castro who completely ignored me and rolled her eyes as I voiced my concern to her that one woman did not wait in line and skipped the line to be seen by a teller. I had opened a Citibank account with Jenny over a decade ago and totally forgot that I had this account. I had recently moved and failed to update the address on the Citibank account. Due to inactivity, my checking account which had over $4K was closed as abandoned property and funds were transferred to the State. I was provided information to claim with NYS abandon property. Just to confirm if this is the case, I immediately contacted Jenny who found out that the funds were still with Citibank. Jenny provided detailed instructions on what I need to do and the exact form that I need to fill out in order to recover the funds. As a Citibank customer, this is a very decent branch. Open hours are long and ATMs are plenty. MAIN FLOOR LOBBY When you walk in, it's the lobby of ATMs. I think people use this area as a waiting place sometimes, for heat or air conditioning. MAIN FLOOR INTERIOR The main customer service desk is here, along with a lot of desks, I guess for loans, mortgages, opening accounts, etc. UPSTAIRS (stairs located at your right, right after the ATM lobby) This is were the tellers and express deposit machines are. I think a Citi Business area too. There's an express teller window for withdrawals and deposits up to $3000. LANGUAGES So far, I've encountered tellers that can speak the following: Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Korean. Oh right, English. RANDOM TIDBITS - They give out free candy and red envelopes during Chinese New Year. - They switching out of deposit/withdrawal slips now. Bring your debit card. - The last ATMs at the end (close to the interior), are wheelchair accessible. - You don't need an account to exchange a $20 for quarters. read more

It is a busy location. Most of the times there will be long line for teller service or the inquiry desk which always need to wait from 10 to 25 minutes. The good things is there are a lot of ATMs in the lobby. read more

Don't ever try to get a loan from this bank, they will promise you that you can get the loan easily, but it will take half a year to process the loan and their underwriter and processor are not professional, they are going to waste your time, I said this because they waste my money and time with them. read more

Being a bank's customer for over 40 years, my business account was blocked without proper notice. When asking, they said they need more info about "KYC." about me. Funny, all my personal info are with Citi since 1979 and I provided all business "KYC" to them when my business account opened two years ago. Funny further, I received a letter asking me to call back "or my account will be closed. So that I called. A young lady taking the call asked me a lot of questions about my business activities such as what was the purpose of the account, how many employees, how many wires transfers a year I intended to do, etc. She said she is helping the officer (appears to be in the Compliance Dept.) and will get back to me if needed. I never received any call or letter thereafter. Several months elapsed, I tried online to transfer fund from my personal checking to business checking. Nopped! It won't allow me to transfer within my own accounts as the business account was blocked. After cal the Center, they tried to email me another form for "KYC" and asked me to change my password. Tried, takes me another two and one-half hours, still not working. I give it up. Enough is Enough. I decided to close all my accounts and go elsewhere. I bet any bank would treasure my business and loyalty and treats me with dignity. Being a very good client of the bank for 40 years, they have all the information about me and business. Why can they review my account history and determine if my business is a high-risk scale and if a block is necessary? They need more training and education. Their compliance is in failure as they do not know how to communicate within branches including the office (Flushing Branch) who opened the account for me. Not the best Citibank...the service itself is alright but the whole bank needs newer system or at least fix the machines out the door because that's quite a problem. I've been going for 4-6 months each time the door needs Citibank's card to swipe to open up for safety purposes but it's always jammed like someone put something in the machines for both slots. I went yesterday night again and finally it's no longer jammed since they have changed it but even though you could now effortless swipe downwards the scanner isn't the best still so took me 3mins to get in. To withdraw money from this Citibank branch, you need to SPEAK to the tellers -- no withdraw slips required. If you want to rob people, just wait and HEAR who's withdrawing what and follow that person. You don't need to work very hard -- just good hearing. I have been a Citibank customer for about 7 years. This location isnt bad. It pretty clean and I love how Citibank doesnt need you to fill out paper slips anymore. Now all you have to do is swipe your card and put your pin to deposit and withdraw money. This location is usually packed from 12PM to 3PM so unless necessary, I would recommend that you dont go during that time. Overall, most of the people who work here are helpful and polite. read more

This bank has ridiculously long waits for teller services. I recently waited over 45 minutes to be seen, When I was finally seen by a teller, she was rude and said my wait time was short in comparison to other business days. This is unacceptable in a bank with over 12 teller stations and only half of them with staff seated at them. read more
