They're for placing insurance claiming I haven't had any insurance at all My insurance agent spoke to them on the phone, they emailed and faxed all the proof (for the past 6+ months) One representative says everything is fine & a month later comes the threading letters/ emails & calls all over again! Now I'm in collection for for-placed insurance I do not need! I fwd them everything from renewals, Dec pages, ID cards, evidence of insurance letters & they remove & add it back! My credit has dropped over 60 points in the last month because of this !!! & nobody cares !!! Nobody gets back to you!!! They're horrible!!!!! My son opened an account over the summer, they never send him his debit card. He's called several times & nothing. He asked them recently to close the account & again no response... ever !!!

The bank has provided accurate service, and in 9 years I only experienced one error, which they corrected in a timely fashion. Their interest rates are competitive. The negatives - and they are minor issues - are the amount of time it takes for certain transactions to clear, such as external transfers (both in and out) and check deposits. Online CD account management is quite poor. With fluctuating interest rates and ever-changing "specials", I rarely, if ever, just roll over a CD and have to make at least one phone call every time one CD matures. Also, 1099 forms are not available online - you have to wait for them to be mailed. Improvements to IFCU's online banking platform would raise their rating to a full 5 stars.

This review is to identify M & T as a superlative bank to consider for several reasons. 1. The banking staff are exceptional and experts. 2. Headed by Anne, the Branch Manager, her associates are eager, patient and pleased to serve the customer. 3. All representatives take a personal interest in the customer's needs and make recommendations where appropriate Jermaine to the banking session. They're never in a rush. 4. Coffee is served as a nice touch for any customers who might have a short wait. But rest assured, the bank associate will spend as much time as you require till your banking needs are completed. 6. Full notary and other services are provided. "One Stop Shopping." 7. Unexpected, from time to time, I receive a personal phone call from their staff Just to determine if we need anything or merely to inquire how my family is. I've never seen this any where else. I paid bills, transferred money, and went to store #1. All good. Went to store #2- card declined. Impossible. Tried again, declined. Must be the chip, I'll tap. Declined. Step aside to call the Bank. Turns out they randomly decided it shouldn't have been cleared & put an additional hold on the money until Tuesday. Account overdrawn, and I'm going to have a problem with bills. My husband can't transfer me money, because the overdrawn funds will drain it. Supervisor on the phone, Emily, tells me to go to the Branch because they can overturn it. LIE!!!!!!! Justin at the Coram Branch was a condescending jerk who saw I was angry, and he escalated the situation. First thing Tuesday morning, I'll make sure all fees are reversed AND get my money & close the account!!!!

I researched banks and found TD had the easiest banking options. I had to open a business and personal account so we went there. Well it took us four visits to get this simple task accomplished. We were miss a sheet of paper for the business so the next day I went by myself to get the account open and they would not do anything because my husband was not sitting there I explained that they could start the process and when they needed him to sign he would come in. You see he had gotten that Booster the day before and was flat on his back. NOOOO they would not do that. So two days later we went in the morning before I had to go to work and NOW the computers were down OMG We finally got the accounts opened three days later Then because they have this ridiculous 6 day check hold the money wasn't available for that long I expressed that I had to pay one of our subcontractors ASAP and they said Don't worry we will cover it Well they Bounced the check on them and when I called the main customer service # she said that the branches say that to all their new customers and it is a lie I am so sorry I opened these accounts What am I supposed to do now with my weekly paycheck am I supposed to wait 6 days every week I live paycheck to paycheck and no one can give my a decent answer Oh well my mistake to go to them I kept my Peoples (now M&T) account opened I will have to use that for my pay Also I emailed my salesman at TD twice and got no response at I guess he knows he was wrong
