Despite being assured that my payments would not be reported, I have diligently made four payments only to find that Ventura County Credit Union continues to report that I am not making payments. This misinformation is affecting my credit score significantly, as this account is currently the only negative item on my report. Additionally, in 2018, my account was sold to a collection agency. After arranging to pay off the debt with the agency, the account was mysteriously transferred back to Ventura County Credit Union, creating further confusion and turmoil. Not only have I been misled about the reporting of my payments, but every attempt to dispute the inaccuracies has been met with negligence and further misinformation from Ventura County Credit Union. Despite providing documentation that clearly shows discrepancies in their reporting, the credit bureaus are not properly investigating the matter and are inexplicably ignoring the evidence I have provided.
