I was out on hold for 27 minutes. The person on the phone was rude and impolite. The person is Marlene in customer service.

After 12 years of consistently good service at the Thousand Oaks Logix branch, I'm shocked at how…read morebadly things went during a recent visit. My mom and adult daughter--a long‑time customer--came in for a simple appointment to open a new joint account. What should have taken minutes turned into an hour of condescension and obstruction from the teller, Chris. Instead of helping them through a routine process, he questioned their ability to "manage the account," spoke down to them, and dragged out every step. These are two fully capable women who have handled their finances for years, yet they were treated as if they were incompetent. The tone was dismissive, patronizing, and frankly humiliating. It wasn't until I left work and came in myself--calm, direct, and simply insisting the account be opened--that anything actually moved forward. Only then did Chris suddenly become able to do the job he should have done from the start. The whole experience felt disrespectful and unnecessary. After more than a decade of loyalty, this was enough to make me ready to take my business elsewhere. If you value being treated with basic respect, be cautious about using Logix Credit Union.

Went in at 9 to get change for work. The man who has access to the change wont be in until 10:30!!…read more WHAT??? I go back at 10:30, apparently being on tine for wirk is not a prioeity for this man, as he still had not shown up by 10:40 and I dont have time to keep my business closed while waiting for him. I've never heard of a bank who's opening employees can not access money! Time for a better bank!!

Kudos to Chase Bank branch on Reino Road!…read more I recently had a series of very positive interactions with Matthew Martinez and the other branch staff at Chase Bank in the Albertson's parking lot on Reino & Kimber in Newbury Park. I had a particular issue that I needed help with, and the following occurred: * I was welcomed to the branch when I entered. * After explaining what I needed, I was taken to the office of a branch executive - no waiting. * We sat across the desk from one another - no Lexan barrier - and after I explained what I needed, it took just a few minutes for Matthew to accomplish it. This required a couple of phone calls, again accomplished immediately, to the right people the first time. * A few days later, I got a call from the branch manager asking if everything had worked out. Yes! * Just this afternoon, I got another call from Matthew to make sure that all issues had successfully resolved, and that I was now able to do what I had needed to do. Yes! Although the non-profit I was associated with had an account there, it was closed about a year ago. I don't have any other accounts there, but this certainly encourages me to consider doing so.

I would not recommend Premier America Credit Union based on my mortgage servicing experience…read more My mortgage loan originated through Premier America, and their main banking dashboard showed my mortgage loan as "Current." The mortgage portal also showed only the normal payment amount due and did not clearly show that the loan was past due, that a prior payment was missing, or that two payments were required to bring the account current. The only way to possibly notice something was wrong was by looking through the payment history in small text. The main payment screen did not clearly say "past due," "delinquent," "two payments due," or anything that would alert a borrower that the loan was at risk of being reported late. When I made my payment, the system only showed/requested one payment. I later found out there was an issue only because the bank called me, and at first I thought the calls might be fraud/spam because the online account information still appeared current. When I disputed the issue, their response was basically that the Premier America main banking page did not matter and only the mortgage servicing portal mattered. I strongly disagree with that. This was the bank I got the loan through, and their own banking dashboard displayed the loan as current. Even worse, the mortgage portal itself also did not clearly show a past-due warning or the total amount needed to bring the loan current. In my opinion, this is not transparent and creates a serious risk for borrowers. A mortgage payment system should clearly show the true account status, the exact amount due, any past-due balance, and whether multiple payments are required. Instead, the information shown to me was confusing and incomplete, and now I am dealing with a late fee and credit reporting issue. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Premier America Credit Union for mortgage lending or servicing.
