It's a mall within a mall!  Citizen Supply offers choice browsing opportunities. While perhaps the bulk of its offerings is apparel, there are also lots of gifts and home stuff available too. There's even a plant shop in the back which will make you feel (or at least me feel) like a jungle explorer, with pots and pots of exotic specimens. I knew I was going to be a fan of this place after I noticed they carried cards from an Etsy seller who sold me some darling holiday cards a couple of years ago. A very Etsy-ian establishment, so you can feel good shopping at a local store offering many locally-made items. Plus, there is no dearth of employees patrolling the floor, and they're nice too. The checkout area is at the front, off to one side. After browsing through Ponce City Market of all their food and drink offerings I was happy to have run into Citizen Supply on the upper level. It was a great place to find some cool and unique Atlanta souvenirs under one roof made my local artists and artisans. This is my kind of souvenir spot for such a cool city like Atlanta. Definitely away and off the beaten path of touristy spots for all things Atlanta. From apparel, postcards, magnets, artwork, leather goods, and even beauty supplies you really do have a lot of options here. The only issue I had is that I wanted one of everything in this shop. Everything was super unique, fun, and a collectible in it's own. I got several postcards, a great warm Atlanta is for Believers sweatshirt, some Atlanta neighborhood artwork, and some great canvas bags too. I didn't end up needing to go anywhere else after visiting Citizen Supply for mementos I wanted to bring back to Texas with me to commemorate my Atlanta trip this past Fall. read more

Obsessed with shopping here for myself and family and friends. The space is filled with stalls of local artists and makers and I never fail to find something. There's a bar in the center so you can grab a coffee or a cocktail while shopping. The stalls are each so unique and fun to shop! read more

Citizen Supply is located in Ponce Market, so while on vacation I checked it out while walking through the market. The concept is cool in theory kind of has a mix of Anthropologie, Home Goods with a local twist. Lots of cool items to pick up while you're on vacation like t shirts, posters and things like that (no handmade postcards though, but I did like the artwork they had). The store is huge, but doesn't seem completely full, which I suppose is fine. Gives you plenty of room to walk through. Other items sold are belts, socks, candles, plates, cups, and more. To me the only really bad thing was the prices. Everything seemed uber expensive and was that fine line of supporting local or going online to find it cheaper and being a tourist there was no way I could justify the prices on some of the items, which kind of sucked. In general it's a cool store, if it's in your budget you'll have a field day here I'm sure. If you're a tourist and looking for more touristy type of items this will not work for you, but they do have some cool ATL t-shirts so maybe check those out. read more

Love this place. It's a cornucopia of small businesses providing their own products. Each has a display or corner of the floor. There was a handmade leather vendor with fun tag items. There were small circle tags they can initial for you. Only $5 each. Very cool. You can watch as they tap each letter into to leather. My favorite spot inside of Ponce City Market! I love to support local, and so many of the little vendors inside of Citizen Supply are right here in Atlanta. Some of them even use this store as their main shop/production sire. Whether I'm looking for a gift or a house plant, I know I can find exactly what I need here, and it'll be super hip and cute! Shops that showcase curated good from independent makers can often be hit or miss, but Citizen Supply is consistently a hit. The goods sold there seem to be very thoughtfully considered, and the collection as a whole is cohesive, which isn't easy to pull off. What Citizen Supply has created is a relaxing place for window shopping, for learning, and they're also trying to make it a place for hanging out. I think there are some set-in-stone sellers at Citizen Supply, but they also advertise that they add new sellers each week. I haven't visited tons of times, but I wouldn't be surprised if they rotate through some sellers and goods. The usual fare includes a brand new plant shop (which I love!), painted leather, handcrafted leather shoes and lots of eco-conscious and thoughtful apparel, stationery and prints, plenty of Atlanta-themed goodies, some interior design and furniture, vintage bicycles, candles and candle-making classes, jewelry, and body care. This would be a great place to shop for a gift (and maybe an even greater place to shop for yourself!). Sometimes the makers and sellers are in house, but in general Citizen Supply is hands-off when it comes to the staff. If you have any questions, you'll probably need to find someone at the counter to ask. Citizen Supply is located on the second floor, right above West Elm. If you visited in 2017 or earlier, I'd encourage you to visit again because the space has been filled out nicely with beautiful, interesting, and exciting finds. There's a bit more room to grow, but it's got good momentum now. I love coming solo for a relaxed browsing session. There's always something new to check out. read more

Such a great store in spice City Market. Fell in love with the plant section in the back. Fun greenhouse walk through and many unique plant species I've had a hard time finding at other stores. Even though I was visiting from out of state, couldn't resist purchasing a rattlesnake calathea to bring home with me. read more

This is like a gymnasium sized store that sells cards, candles and trinkets much like the three other card, candle and trinket stores within PCM. Definitely avoid if looking for clothing. Solid colored T shirts for $40 and $20 candles line the aisles which ultimately lead to $150 leather belts and jewelry made from pennies (not joking). Almost everything offered is a basic household item with a boutique spin Awestruck tourists from the belt line are the only people making purchases here. You can't be an everyday person and pay those prices for basic commodities. read more

This review pertains to The Victoria plant shop in the back. Traveled to ATL for business & decided to stop in to kill some time. Imagine my surprise when I found a Thai Consolation Monstera plant priced at $250, a reasonable price for this rare plant. Decided to splurge & got one as well as a boobie cactus at $25. Within 2 days I could tell the Thai Monstera was suffering & took it out of the dirt to check it better. ROOT ROT!! So for the past 2-3 weeks I have been working desperately to save my purchase, but sadly it looks as if this guy is not going to make it. I'm pretty pissed that I spent that much money in a diseased plant, but with all purchases being final, tough luck I guess..... Anyway, when I bought the boobie cactus, I noticed a little yellowing at the base of the stalk & the owner informed me it just needed to be potted up. Well... yesterday I noticed my boobie cactus was squishy at the base, so I pull it out & low&behold, ROOT ROT!!! The yellowing was root rot & they sold it to me anyways. After doing some research I found out this shop is actually a 3rd party seller, they don't actually grow or care for the plants themselves. It is possible that the shop owners aren't really that knowledgeable on rare & exotic plant care, maybe not, but I have NEVER had root rot problems in the past & now to have it in 2 very different plants from the same shop, it's just process of elimination. I'm officially out almost $300. Would not recommend anyone buy plants from here. In 4 years of being a plant mom, this is my first time dealing with root rot. It's not my skills. The plants WERE sold to me this way. Root rot takes much longer than 2 days to set in & begin killing a plant. Lost all the roots on the Monstera. Funeral details to follow....l In all seriousness, I really am bummed about this experience. The owners were really nice, they had a nice selection of plants, beautiful shop. I thought I could keep ordering online & get some cool plants. Unfortunately the products I received were unacceptable & so I must give an honest review. read more

When I was last at Ponce City Market, I wondered in to find a gift for a friend's upcoming birthday. They have areas curated by local artist/business/craftsmen/craftswomen/brands, a very creative space. If I had hours to spend it would of been easily occupied here. There's even a HUGE bar in the center of the store, so you could definitely spend a few hours here easily. Everyone I encountered was so genuinely nice. I ended up purchasing two custom leather pieces, that I was able to get further customized bc the shoppe owner was there for free. There's one counter that you bring your items to "ring up." I love this store and will be back for more presents or to treat myself. read more

Was just touring around Ponce City Market with a few friends and stop by here. It was a very creative and art driven store. I love everything about it. I love the setup and the atmosphere they shape there. I believe most of the items are handmade from local artists. Definitely will be checking in once in a while and might get a few pieces for my home. read more

Wow. Was in 2 days ago purchased a few things including a pair of earrings that were in a bowl on the counter next to the register. I put the pair next to the other two items the cashier was ringing up for me and put the rest of the earrings I was considering back in a bowl, signed credit card receipt, thanked her and left. Foolishly, I just took the items out of the bag (48 hours later), not only are they the wrong earrings, but they are $10 more than all the others in the bowl, including the ones I wanted. The cashier placed the wrong earrings in the bag. I should've checked the bag and definitely receipt, but was buying two other items and wasn't paying that much attention. My bad. I called and was told sorry, no returns! The person on the phone was snarky and said, "I don't know how a person at the register, can put the wrong earrings in a bag." So clearly didn't believe my story (do they really think I would call and drive 40 min to rip them off $10?). I was told I could swap for the correct earrings but they would not give me the $10 difference. Even better, I could only do this if I got to the store in the next few hours ( 40 min drive for me) before they closed, as a store renovation was beginning tomorrow and Citizens would be closed until further notice. This is not customer service. They reluctantly offered the most difficult way for me to obtain the pair of earrings I wanted. I understand that there are no refunds, but this was not my error, the cashier rang the wrong earrings in the bag. All I wanted was to exchange for the pair and get the $10 difference back. If this was a well run business someone would come up with the $10 somehow, somewhere. Unfortunately, I live 40 minutes away and Citizens Supply closes in a few hours. Tomorrow the store is closing for renovations indefinitely. Apparently, no store employees will come to the store until the renovations are over. I highly doubt that and even if true someone could go above and beyond and meet me at the store in the next few weeks because that is GOOD customer service. So, the customer support gave me the option of driving 40 minutes in the next few hours, swapping the earrings and losing $10 in the deal. There are a lot of places that have cheaper earrings, clothes, bags and decor accessories. But I believe in supporting local artists. However, I learned my lesson (several). Go with big stores, (TJ Maxx always good one for jewelry), that has customer service and lower prices. These businesses know it's better to do the right thing, even if they lose $10 and have a happy customer. Now I will be telling people about my negative experience, and no one will ask where I got the pretty earrings I am wearing, since I will not be wearing them. This review is looking pretty epic! Nice! Update: Citizens Supply called me a few min ago to tell me the earrings I bought were the wrong earrings, but I was charged for the correct earrings. That is good news--I am not out $10. It is also proof that the cashier scanned the correct earrings then put the wrong earrings (higher priced) in the bag. She again said my only option is to get down there in the next 2.5 hours. Never, ever again, can I swap the earrings. Are they renovating or closing???? read more

I'm shocked I haven't written a review for this place yet. It's very cool. LOCATION:// Ponce City Market, upstairs. Above West Elm. STORE TYPE:// Essentially it's a store that consists of a bunch of smaller vendors that are from the South. I like the descriptions other have already made about it "retail co-op" "artisan market" "locally curated Homegoods/Anthropologie" " There are times that it's very full, like when it first opened, but here's also times when it's empty like when I was last there. In the past them being empty usually represented a switch in collections or decor. Filled with everything from post cards, to hand crafted jewelry, to t-shirts, and books. I like that many of the artisans actually have their workshops in there. That's cool. SERVICE:// The people there are usually very nice. Nice is that Nashville type way though if you know what I mean. Friendly, but it leaves you wondering if its contrived friendliness. I have this feeling that that vibes derives from not actually being from the South, but trying to take on the southern friendliness... which is respectable, but does have an air of inauthenticity, but maybe I'm looking into it too deep. Unique items, but way overpriced and very pretentious. Also, poor customer service today. Lane(Sp?) taking care of telephone inquiry during my checkout. No concerns about holding me up while dealing with inquiry. When I commented, she said she had no help. My comment, "put them on hold and take care of me since I'm a sure sell and standing here!" Offered no bag and when I asked for one, she pulls out a tiny bag that would not fit my purchase. Asked for larger bag and she said she was out of medium bags. People in front of me got a larger bag. Really cool spot in a gorgeous space with tons of natural light. They also have a bar in the middle. Lots of unique, though pricy, pieces here that I'd use/wear myself or give as gifts. I came for a plant from The Victorian in the back. Huge selection of healthy plants of various sizes, and they offer free repotting if you buy a plant and pot. My new large ZZ plant is an awesome addition to my home and seems to be thriving! read more

I don't want to leave any stars and be the first one to dictate what they are worth in stars because that just doesn't seem fair but guess I have to so medium it is. I will say it is nice in there. I wouldn't call it an artisan market tho. Too clean and empty. More of a curated label market... Or retail co-op..I guess when I think artisan market I picture much more color and liveliness and a market full of artisans shit. I guess an organized Mexico or something but this was more like theory or citizens of humanity jeans or Gucci and then they threw in "tribal" printed shoes and mediocre landscape and abstract paintings as if the person who curates this isn't a maker with their hands but a designer. This is more for design than a hand maker. Pretty safe space. Overall I mean it was sheek and denim grey feeling. Idk why they got skateboards in there either coz skateboarders normally too Idgaf for this. But this is def for you if you wear fedoras !!!! I've been in here at least 10 times since moving to Atlanta and I cant get enough of it. It's a rad space where you can find independent and local brands selling everything from high quality jackets, hats and shirts to beautiful lithographs and scintillating succulents. Even typing this review is making me want to poke my head back in and see if they have anything new!! They're constantly changing around the layout and design of the sales floor so it always feels fresh and new. Last time I was in there it looked like they were constructing some sort of food/bar space??? If Citizen Supply starts slinging beers that might be a game changer!!! read more

Citizen Supply is loceted upstairs in PCM, on top of the West Elm. Wonderful space. Does not feel crowded at all. They carry so many local goods! I love it. There are lots of unique finds here. Example, prints, soaps, homemade leather bags, shirts, jewelry, and shoes. It's very unique and the customer service is great. I had an issue a few years ago with being charged a few times (system error) and I was quickly refunded my money. read more

Fancy..Big..but Empty..4 stars for the space, 4 stars for the staff at the front desk stand, 3 stars for the carry-out I wander around this floor every time I came PCM/Betline. The whole 2nd floor is quite empty and not too much going on, totally a contrast of its overwhelming 1st floor. The gallery next door and here are presenting seasonal local artist/brand fashion, sports, artisan craftsman stuff, good to check them out and got the most recent inspirations, but I won't shop here, since every price tag is very surprising... Wish they could do a rethinking about the concept and design of this space, could def offer more stands, use the huge space more wise and invite those designers/artists stop by to host their own stands during weekends/festivals, so there would be better interactions in between the biz and the potential customers. BTW, a very cozy sofa corner at door, could use it taking good rest. read more

Wonderful shopping experience! The selection of handmade and local goods is unmatched in Atlanta. I really love the So Worth Loving selection as well as the Brother Moto items they carry. The place is wonderful for finding a gift for a loved one. Each item has a story and you can likely meet the item's maker right there in the store. I've met the owner as well and he is quite a guy.
