On Tuesday 10/03 in the morning I called and the person who answered was Makenzie who was helpful and friendly. She suggested I have a pre visit telephone call to get my information and have a detailed packet set up for me to look at. I thought that seemed time efficient and agreed to have someone call me later that day.No one called. Next morning someone did call but I was busy so ask them to call back in 10 .They said they would but never did. I waited the entire day and did not hear anything so on Thursday 10/5 in the morning I called again and waited but not a word.I DID try to call back 2 times Thursday.First message said I had a 19 minute wait time.A few hours later message said 16 minutes. They also had a choice of getting a call back but it dropped me before I could leave my number.Friday I found another place who wanted my business and I opened my account with them.Gone much of the morning but had my phone and never got a call or message that day either. If you want to give your hard earned money to a bank with no follow through that is too bust to respond in 3 full days time then by all means go there.Me.....Dont have the patience and dont want to do business with any business who does not value me as a customer.

This is not typical for the pace of Salem folks, but I can appreciate it. It's usually best to reach out in the morning versus the afternoons. He gets swamped with calls and tries to get to his emails. For active Allstate customers, the best way to get things going is to have the policy # and question ready upon inquiry. I've been to the office during various afternoons and it's always a crapshoot for his availability, as his receptionist will always remind us. When in doubt, email. The reply might read like a short winded text, but it's a reply no less. Otherwise, a voicemail is the next best thing.
