I am sure if one has the money for a high priced private attorney you will have better customer bed side manners, but if you are like me then Citizens Disability is the way to go. For me I don't need a lot of pats on the back, only the facts. After the first two go around I was denied by the social security office. They didn't included correct information and even had the labor expert classify my job incorrectly. I did get discourage because I always knew in my heart I was suppose to win. I don't want anyone else to be discouraged, and this is my intent in writing this review. It took 2 1/2 years for a court date, and I was represented with such professionalism. I didn't even know all he was going to say or ask me in front of the judge. Honestly my representative must of known all there is about SSDI. If your case goes to court Citizens Disability will send you a CD. On the CD they tell you most of their cases are won at court. Social Security is good at denying all claims. They even sent me to a bone Social Security doctor who said I was in satisfactory condition and able to work. Ha, my knees shook. , my arms and hands shaking as well. Don't let the Social Security team bully you from continuing your claim. the decision from the judge just came in and it reads fully favorable! Within 60 days I will receive my letter from another office on the benefits owed to me. I have returned to work, so I cant say what happens with on going payments. All of the paperwork, and the phone calls they received from me, and the great legal representation for the max amount of $6,000 or 25%. What a bargain, that means they collected $2000 a year to keep my case notes, medical records all updated then transferred to the Social Security office. read more

4 Year waste of Time! They contacted me I stupidly thought they would work toward helping me get my Claim 4 years Later they ended their part today but were nice enough to give me the Form to fill out to Appeal to the Appeal Council! Their "Lawyer" Who basically cookie cutters her way through each hearing I said more than she did also don't be surprised to be called late the night before your ALJ to be told to come in even earlier than your Hearing time to discuss your case! {Also don't be surprised if said lawyer tells your witness/spouse in the Hall after that "We got it"! if I am any example I have to asked what meds was she on that day because Here I am doing my own last two Appeals. They badgered my Mental Health Provider who sent in every scrap of medical evidence they requested or their "experts" requested only to be repeatedly faxed the same Paperwork which he expressly told them they are getting 25% or 6,000 whichever is higher if you win to do the work He almost terminated my Services with him because they did not stop till told them to on the Phone. But they Terminated their rep of me And I will make Sure Social Security Knows they do not work for me or in my Name ANYMORE! I find it very telling that a call to my Local Office in Temple Texas I was informed by the worker their looking into my Status that day that Citizen's was not very Popular with Social Security for multiple reasons! Overall You will have the same amount of chances doing it yourself or using a NON Profit NON Pay Social Security advocate to help you than doing work with this NIGHTMARE COMPANY! read more

I couldn't find any attorney who would file my initial SSDI application. Everyone that I talked to wanted me to do all the "leg work" and they would pick up the claim during the appeal process. I filled out an online questionnaire, and within three minutes Citizens Disability's staff member called me. She was very nice. She asked me some questions to see if I qualified and then she stayed on the line with me for over an hour and a half asking the actual social security application questions and filling it out as we went.
