The service was okay and the quality of how my daughters toes were polish was not neat. There's a nice ambiance and the receptionist was very friendly but after we didn't like the way the polish was done we then got strange looks from all the employees in the building as if we had done something wrong. I didn't paint her toes and I didn't like the quality in how they looked as a paying customer I have that choice but I didn't like the nasty looks the employees was given us. I came in here without an appointment to get a gel mani and pedi and was assisted promptly. I love how the place was clean and they offer you something to drink from their mini-bar. They have tons of color polish to choose from! Selena did my pedi and she was fabulous, took her time, and would definitely visit her 5 star service again. I've been coming here since February and I swear by this salon, I won't go anywhere else! Whether I make an appointment or walk in, I'm always treated so well. I never have to request a specific nail tech because every single one of them is talented, kind, and intentional. They pay attention to every detail, and it truly makes all the difference in their work. I'll admit that I'm really picky when it comes to my nails, and in the past I'd feel too overwhelmed to speak up because I didn't want the nail tech to be upset with me. Here, I've never once had to ask them to change anything. They just understand my vision, check in with me often, and reassure me throughout my service. I feel completely comfortable knowing they'll always make sure I'm happy. I've tried so many different styles with them, and they nail it every single time! My nails always turn out amazing. Now that I'm 9 months pregnant, I appreciate even more how sweet and accommodating they are to me, and how wonderfully they treat my mom when we come together. I was in Houston for a softball tournament and decided to treat myself and stop at Citris nails.. absolute best decision I made the cleanliness, the welcoming people the relaxing scent soon as you hit the door just absolutely made my day and then the quality of service top tier. If I could give zeros I would! I know this place have different franchises I've been to the one in Webster and I hated it because they would always give me a different shape than what I would ask for. But I still decided to go in to Citrus because it's a new location and maybe they have better technicians. And I was wrong! First off yes the place is nice and sophisticated but what's the point of that if you don't have good nail technicians??? My husband went in with me I asked for two pedicures and a full set we were seated in a timely manner then the nail technician came in and I showed him what I wanted which is pretty much just a white tip with a square square shape (I have to say square twice due to sometimes other locations giving me round square and I don't like that). So he proceeded to start on my nails and what not then he asked if I wanted the white tip to be actual tips or for him to draw out the white tip and I told him the actual tip. Therefore, he put on some white tips that were shape like coffin and I told him that I didn't wanted those since they're not going to come out square at all? So he got some other tips but they were transparent and they look more like square shape so he said he would most likely draw out the white tip or use powder to make the tip and I told him whatever you think it's best that would look like the picture of reference. Then he decided to just use powder and make the tip like that but then he started showing me powder's that he could use for the top part of the nail either he could use pink with white powder or a nude color with white powder. And I told him I wanted a clear with white powder like the picture and he started to try to convince me other wise and I had to stand my ground on what I wanted because the other powders did not suit me at all I wanted clear. Then he said that I should come back another time for me to get what I actually wanted and I said I won't be coming back. Overall it was unprofessional I have vacation plans to go to tomorrow I didn't feel like arguing back and forth so I just gave in and told him to just give me all white powder forget white tip as long as he does square shape. It was ridiculous this is not the first time where nail techs give me what they want not what the customer wants! Pure laziness like how hard can white tip be? I wasn't the only one complaining the lady next to me was complaining about the color they put on her toes and another couple were just waiting in their seats for pedicure with their foot's in the water for like 45 minutes or more (they leave you soaking your feet for a long time making it seemed like someone is coming but no one ever does because they don't have enough staff but they leave you like that because they don't want you to leave) Worst experience ever! Don't come here it's all glitz and glam but the techs don't know what they're doing! Finally, we got done I head to the restroom and I come out and my husband said he already paid so we left. We got in the car and he said it was $300!? Two pedicure deluxe and my full set he said that whenever he was paying the guy who did my nails kept on changing the price on my full set nothing precise? My nails aren't that long at all and my husband said it was $120? At the end we don't know exactly what we paid for but that 20% off sign is false advertisement! DONT COME HERE! I've been going here since they opened and that usually do a good job on nails and toes but today three grown adult employees were immature, disrespectful and acted like middle school girls. These employees were making fun of a woman's bow headband to eachother and were snickering about it. On one occasion they giggled to eachother then one lady said "she likes ur bow", the woman wearing said bow said thank you and they went back to snickering and laughing behind her back. First time here was and was excited they opened one by my house. Went in no one greeted me rt away or was at front desk until I went around and said hi even tho there was a very loud bell that went off. I was told there was a 20% discount for my first time there. I am very simple just wanted basic pedicure the only thing I asked this time was that they not rub my legs at all cause had a rash and skin is still sensitive. It Was very slow only like 4 of us there and all the other ladies were offered beverages not one person asked me if I wanted a drink at all. The pedicure was supposed to last 40 min and the only part of my body she rubbed was my legs! And they finished it in 20 min! Then they charged me full price and I asked about 20% discount they said I can't have it because I didn't get a more expensive service!!! I never complained or said one thing about how bad I was treated but I will not go here again and very disappointed because I only had heard good things.. also the front desk guy was very rude and the whole time I was getting my pedicure the lady was screaming across the room talking to other employees so was very loud and I couldn't relax.
