I decided to book with posh for the second time ever after not going for a few years. I did book an appointment in advance. The appointment was set for 6pm. I was seated immediately but my nails were not started until about 6:30pm or later. I was asked if I wanted a drink so I chose a mimosa but I took about two sips of it because I realized it was not a real mimosa. It tasted like the juice used in it was sunny d which was very off putting. Probably the most underwhelming mimosa I've ever had. Anyway, the lady who did my nails was Jackie. She was SO sweet and attentive. That's not the type of energy i usually encounter at nail shops so she was the best part of my visit. I did not leave until a little after 8pm (the shop closes at 7). But she did a great job on my nails. I am a little disappointed that my nails do not look exactly like the inspo pic that I showed her but she did a really good job as far as the design and shape of the nails goes. Not too thick and every nail is shaped perfectly and the same length so I'm glad about that. I can say that I may be back some day but this nail shop would not be my first choice. read more

First of all my set was only 45 dollars. Additionally it took around an hour with four broken nails. I have had the same nail tech for 3 out of the 4 times I have been here an her work is amazing with the shape, thickness and design all being almost perfect. The staff is super nice and welcoming an very gentle on your nails. But sadly the UV light did burn me on my right ring finger but the pain wasn't that bad. All in all thi is a great nail salon to go to and thank you to Posh for being amazing. read more

Update: top coat started fading after a few days :( First time here, the place is nice and everyone was friendly. I was greeted as soon as I got in and offered something to drink while I waited since I came in a few minutes early for my appointment. I called ahead and made an appointment for Nikki but she was not working so I made an appointment with Julie per other reviews I saw. She was very sweet and friendly! Loved how she did my nails. Let me tell you! I NEVER get my nails done. I'm a germ a phobe and VERY skeptical of the cleanliness of any nail salon, but this exceeded my expectations!! 1. The staff are friendly. 2. Free snacks!!! 3. Great quality design. I didn't get any acrylic, shellac, organic dip powder, solar, glass, or anything else they offered lolol. Just moved here from Oregon a week ago and found this location on Yelp! Literally the cleanest nail salon that I have ever been to. They use liners in their tubs and new sterile nail kits on each client. In Oregon we had to buy or bring our kit each time. FYI: I am a germaphobe! Not sure if it's a Texas thing or just this amazing salon. Mimosa or wine with pedicure service. Other than having to listen to country music, it was a great experience. Being new to the area I was looking for a nail salon to continue with my up keep on my nails. I found Posh and like what I saw on their FaceBook page. I made an appointment and was given Julie as my nail person. Julie did a great job and listened to my wants. The place is clean, the people professional. I just paid $100 and walked out of the nail salon with crooked eyebrows and no polish on my nails. I spent 30+ minutes trying to dry my nails, which they never did because the nail polish was way too thick and old and the technician kept globing it on. I finally put the oil on that was sitting there next to the dryers because I've been getting my nails done regularly for decades and know that that helps dry quicker and the technician came over and literally fussed at me, threw her hands up in the air and sighed really hard while going to tell the others what I did. When I went to lay down on the table to have my eyebrows waxed - which is also done regularly I could see the outline where someone else had laid there and the paper wasn't changed. I highly recommend this nail salon. We made a reservation for 10 pedicures in preparation for my cousin's quinceñera. All the nail technicians were nice, professional and quick. They did an amazing job at getting us all done quickly and efficiently all while making us feel comfortable. They even did 3 full sets for a few of the girls even though we hadn't mentioned it when we made the reservation. Thanks for everything; you guys were awesome! read more

A remodel & a name change did nothing for this place! It's just as bad as it was before....I came in for a manicure & pedicure, "Ellen" I think was her name sat me down in a pedicure chair and filled my tub with water & then left me there for about 20 minutes. She finally started on my pedicure and kept cutting me as she was trimming my cuticles, I told her not to bother with the callous shaver! I changed my mind half way through my pedicure about what I wanted done to my nails & they acted really bothered about it, even though what I decided to get done was a more expensive service. I got a full solar set with shellac. The guy that did my nails was nice enough, but he didn't really do what I asked for, all my nails are different lengths and not evenly filed & he ended up passing me back to Ellen to do my shellac & she didn't do a very good job, the shellac looks thick & lumpy! Then she did my eyebrows and after she waxed she rubbed something that smelled like rubbing alcohol on my brows and not only did it burn but it dropped in to my eye. She also got wax in my hair, left wax on my brows, and didn't shape my brows at all! Overall I probably should've just stopped at the pedicure like my instinct told me to but I was hoping it would be better than it was previously! I guess if you're a regular then they're really friendly and don't rush you....but if you're not good luck! read more

I asked for shellac and both nail technicians that I spoke with confirmed with me that I was indeed asking for shellac. I even picked out my choice of color, from the book of colors 'meant for shellac' and was given gel. After three days, my color has started peeling off. This was after being told multiple times by two separate technicians that they would 'be with me shortly' and still having to wait an hour. Had they said that they wouldn't be able to get to me for another hour, I would have still been disappointed with the fact that I was given gel even though I asked for shellac but I would not have been as disappointed in the service as much as I am. Especially because both technicians that I spoke with were very kind and inviting. Additionally, the stations also were not cleaned properly seeing as there were nail clippings on my seat and on the counter that I was placed at. Maybe I just had a bad experience. It's still worth a shot to check out though. read more
