Went here last week, May 15, and I thought the city said all the splash pads were open but this one was not. Drove all the way out here and all the kids were playing in swim suits, but no water. I called the city and they had no clue and said it should be working but there have been some issues with the plumbing/water pipes so it might not be. You should probably start working on that before summer hot weather hits. read more

A fellow mom that I met at another park told me about this one & my son really liked it. Huge grass field for soccer, 2 different play areas and they also have a water area that I'm assuming will open once it gets warmer. I didn't notice many benches but maybe it was in a different spot. Very clean & I like that it's tucked away from the streets. Large multiple parking lots as well! read more

I came with my mother to get some exercise walking the paths of the well manicured park. There's a small water play area and a regular playground. Cool place for parties with your little ones, plenty of space to play soccer, volleyball, and much more. There is Accessible Parking and accommodations. read more

Part of the Corona Parks and Recreation Department's growing empire, this is yet another great place for kids and families. While this park has only been open about 5 years at the time of this writing, and the trees have yet to provide any significant shade, the park is maturing nicely and has plenty of attractions. Plenty of room for lots of active little ones, colorful, interactive, and also safe and well maintained, the two main attractions are a nicely sized water play area with squirting fountains coming up from the ground, sculptures, water guns that won't hurt a fly, and a playground that includes big stuff to climb and slide, and swings, surrounded by soft rubberized material so the kids can be owweee free. There is a decent bathroom facility not too far, actually closer to the parking lot than the play areas. I love the permanently shaded area, where you can sit at picnic tables made of cement, and there are also park benches that dot the playground areas. The parking lot is large, so room for everyone. There is lots of green, green grass and rolling hills that reminded me how much I loved to tumble down the hills in my childhood. I won't mention how many years ago that was! Lots of people were there the day we visited. Grandparents sitting in their beach chairs under umbrellas. Mothers sitting on the benches that look like orange crates with old Corona citrus labels affixed, sipping their iced cold drinks and bringing out a picnic lunch for the kiddies. Everyone was having a great time. And the location is in a nice area of Corona, safe and welcoming. The park is huge. Another section of the park appears to be a large field for playing sports and is separated from the children's play area. It also has its own parking area so you will not have to compete for parking on the days there may be games going on. With our wonderful weather, I can see this as a very popular spot to bring the kids. read more

Its nice park, we love the splash pad and the fact that it has a lot of swings, but I have to say the last time we went we couldn't stay very long... A gang of four teenage boys came like a tornado, almost ran over my four year old with their scooters and then went on the swings and did it so hard that the whole structure was shaking and my little one could no longer enjoy being on the swing, I tried to talk to them, I asked if they could be careful since there were little kids around and they were seriously disrespectful to the point that they didn't care at all about anything, no common sense, no wonder why the world is going to hell with careless and senseless people like that... read more

Super popular community park. Tons of grass for lots of team activity. Lots of community teams use this park for practice and games. (Football, soccer, Lacrosse, and rugby to name a few) Sits on a corner, so walks around the perimeter make for great excercise In the summer they have the cutest splash pad. I got my car broken into in broad daylight here, when I was just taking my small kids to the park. Beware of the type of people loitering here. I would have never thought I would be robbed at 1pm in the afternoon. My window, my wallet and phone all taken. Police are not very responsive here. I would not recommend for parents and children. read more

Very cool park! Kid friendly, lots of parking (ha ha, no pun intended!), huge fields for Frisbee or soccer or kite flying or whatever. And a water park! Bring the little ones and some water wear, and have a picnic! Public indoor restrooms, two big playgrounds, lots of seating areas for lunch gatherings, a big barbecue pit. Love this place.! Splash pad for the kids is great and it's pretty big and I don't have to keep pushing the button for it to come on, like others. The water defiantly smells like chlorine even from far away.. I've been there a couple of times, weeks apart, and the smell still stays, I really don't care, it's either that or dirty water. Parking on the street is probably closer to the splash pad. It's pretty empty, not crowed at all, favorite part.! :)) I love it.! read more

Easy quick and free Fun during the summer, my only complaint is other people bringing water balloons and not picking up their trash!! There are plenty of babies & little toddlers that go to the water park and they all put things in their mouths water balloons are the most dangerous I do t understand people being so negligent and inconsiderate, there should be signs up at least. Otherwise the park itself is fun and good for most all ages, could use constant upkeep of the rubber flooring since it lifts up from the water and also can be. Come on Corona!! This park is a mess!!!!! Just went there this morning and spent most of 30 mins picking up trash left all over the park. seriously the worst ive seen. Not sure what can be done about it, but something needs to happen. Its like people go and have a party and just let the kids run around and leave there food, candy, trash all over. there are trash cans all around!! I even found a diaper and a slice of pizza NEXT TO THE TRASH CAN!!! really???? the splash pad area was COVERED in broken water balloons. This park is gross and at this point in time id rather drive further and find a cleaner park that i don't have to worry about my one year old picking up a half eaten sucker covered in wood chips and ants. read more

Citrus park is one of my favorite parks in corona. I've been here on several occasions. For awhile, my best friends and I would come here every year for the fourth of July. That tradition stopped a couple years back, but it was a lot of fun while it lasted. We would bring blankets and chairs and food/drinks and watch the fireworks here instead of going to Santana park with all of the crowds. The view of the fireworks was not even close to the view at Santana park, but jot having to deal with the crowds and parking situation before and after was nice! Aside from that, there's a cool little playground and water park for the kids. The water park is even fun for adults lol anyway this is a great park, its always clean and seems to have less weirdos and drunks lurking about than other parks. read more

This is a great park! There's a walking path and plenty of grass to run around on, but the playground and splash zone are the main attraction. The toddler playground is really cute! The splash zone can get really crowded in the summer!!! We avoid it until schools are back in session because our toddlers will just get bulldozed by big kids. If you come for the splash zone, bring a beach umbrella be said bench seating is very limited and so is the shade. read more

Took my 7 year old son and my 8 year old nephew here for the splash pads. They seemed to have a good time but got bored quickly. I think this is meant for younger kiddos because I noticed many of the younger kids had a lot of fun! It's free and it's close to home but the only thing is that there is a lot of trash (water balloon residue everywhere around the splash pads) and the bathrooms are really gross! If you don't mind those, then it's free and fun for the kids. I probably won't be coming back here though but only because my kids didn't seem too interested! read more

Gorgeous park. I am giving it a 4 Star because as i was there I honestly felt a bit a lost and people were not very informative. I didn't know if I could roam around or where I could roam around, not to mention the trees full of oh so yummy looking fruit, and not know if I could have one or pick one up from the floor since there was so many. Better guidance or perhaps employers willing to be more informative would be nice! read more

Fantastic park! Toddler area, bigger kid area, water pad in the summer! Lots of parking, nice families and kids who come here it seems!

Pros: Its a great FREE place to take the kids on a hot day!! The water comes on at 10am which is nice so you can get there early and leave before the afternoon. The water area is a ok size and all new and in good working order. It also has a play area, right across the way. The parking lot is close by and they have a bath room but like all park bath rooms only use it you must. Cons: Its a bit over run with kids, which you expect right well thats fine when you have older kids but when you got little ones it makes it a bit hard with a ton kids running all over the place. The water stinks of chlorine, which is good that you know they are using it but I mean its strong and my kids have sensitive skin. Now for the big Con and why I gave only 3 raiting, thier is almost no shade. Only one covered area and all the trees are still too small. Also not enough tables and chairs. read more

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and was impressed by the setup: A large playground adjacent to the splash pad. My daughter had an incredible time. And the best thing about it is that it's FREE! However--it is overrun by large Mexican families who let the older kids overrun the playground with absolutely no supervision. One kid would hit, kick and slap another child --and their parent was no where to be found. Another kid was hogging the water squirter and would purposely shoot it at the adults trying to play with their kids. A little supervision and respect goes a long way. Other than that, we had a really nice time. I would come here again. For a Tuesday afternoon it was really busy, so i cant imagine what it would look like on a weekend--but fun for the location and price (free)! read more

Great park. They have a good amount of swings. I like how they have a big okay set and a small one. This park also has a splash pad. It is currently turned off but should be coming on soon considering how hot the weather is. read more

I brought my 4 year old and my one year old a few weeks ago. They absolutely loved it.! they have plenty of seating( with shade) , a good sized water pad area, and a smaller and larger kid playground. We will definitely come again!. As to the other posting about the water smelling like chlorine,..it did not smelled like chlorine, and if it did, it's better than the water smelling like sewage. read more

We have been taking a "tour" of the Corona parks, each day visiting a different one. This is one of our favorite parks so far. There is a great playground area that includes a splash pad. My daughter is 2 so we stayed with the 2-5 year old section of the playground equipment. She had a great time and the features were perfect for her age. There was a section for 5-12 year olds that was separate. My daughter also likes to run on the grass and there was a lot of that for her to use! The only feature I don't like is the wood chips in the playground. My daughter and I spend most of the time in sandals. Thankfully she wanted to wear tennis shoes when we went, I was not so lucky. read more

My 15 month old loves coming here. He loves the water area. There's always a good amount of people here to socialize with and meet other kids...the park is very clean and well kept. just keep an eye on your children because some kids have been very rude. One kid with a big squirt gun pointed it to his face and squirted his face with water. He was only about 12 months , still a baby at the time and it startled him. Another kid didn't realize I was my son's mama he purposely threw a soccer ball at my son almost knocking him over... thankfully I caught him on time. a lot of parents don't keep an eye on their children here so be careful and stay near your kids. read more
