Amazing place to have your children. My children have been here for 6 plus years now and I wouldn't have them any other place.

**I have posted the same review to Google** Do not take your children to the new center they have for infants-2year olds. My child attended for 4 days and it was nothing but chaos and poor care taking. Twice when my child was being picked up she was strapped into a baby swing screaming and crying while the teacher was ignoring her. The first incident my friend was picking up her 16 month old and they had her strapped into a baby swing next to my 5 month old and both of them were crying while the teacher was sitting on the floor with another child. The teacher tried to give MY child to my friend to leave with because they didn't know who's kid belonged to her. HUGE safety concern. The second incident my mom went to pick up my daughter and all three children in the room were crying and the teacher was standing over by the changing table not consoling any of them. It was also very difficult to communicate with the teacher about my daughter's day because she only spoke Spanish. The app they use to update about diaper changes, naps, and feedings was never up to date and when asked how these things were tracked the director told me everything was written on paper but when asked to see these papers she couldn't provide me with anything. Another big concern is they were operating this center with out a phone line which is illegal. I'm not sure if this has been fixed or not. The last thing that was a concern for me is they sent a picture update of my child sleeping with a blanket over her and she is only 5 months old. I have included pictures of everything so hopefully no one else will have a bad experience or bring their child here for care. read more

I absolutely love this pre school! They have treated both my children like family since we with them in 2020. All the staff are wonderful and so caring. I'd recommend CPDS to anyone looking in the Tampa area! read more

My daughter currently goes to CPDS and I'm going to start this review just asking myself a question : why this low rating?... but I guess they're not food for everyone to like. And I'm going to extend a little bit now : congratulations to the whole staff of citrus park day school, you do an amazing job with the kids every single day, that is a huge responsibility and you take it so professional, kind and politely, don't let anyone else tell you the opposite, if you don't beieve me you can ask any of the other hundreds of happy parents,... My daughter started there when she was 9 months old, (she's 2 and 1/2 now) and only took her one week to get familiar and happy with the place and the teachers, everything since then have been positive, I feel so happy when she arrive to the school and kiss me and goes inside her class with that happy and familiar face, the welcoming of the teachers and friends, I'm her mom and I KNOW SHE IS HAPPY THERE, so am I, the staff keep me on track with everything happening during the day, unless they are hand tight with the kids, which I understand and I am glad it is that way, I can tell, for them children's safety and needs are first, and I always can wait for an update, but if I'm desperate I call any time and get news from my baby. I wouldn't recommend this place to nobody. We thought it could be different when we came here. My little one was happy and when going there didn't want to get in. They work with "kids"but your kid will need to be perfect because if they act a little bit different will be set aside. They use a behavior chart that makes it worse. Kids would love to play game, laugh and have fun, but maybe they don't have the patience enough to work with those kids or don't know how. This year was almost done, getting things for graduation and now my kid feels sad because they kicked him out, he is staying home because in this State if the kid went over 70% of the VPK program he is not eligible to continue or find another school. They knew this and did it anyway. We had to take our son to a therapist about this matter and they said we should do something with the school and why the acted like that, it's very normal. So please CPDS educate yourself on how to treat and educate kids! The school director Surely when she needs or wants something you need to do it right away but when you need something it will take time and begging to get it done. Maybe you have a lot of nice reviews only because we Latin don't like writing them. I could keep writing pages but I am not. We enrolled our daughter on February 2019 and my husband and I are very satisfied and happy that we did. Citrus Park Day School has the most loving and caring teachers I have ever encounter. As soon as you enter the building all the teachers greet the kids by their name and give them so much attention! As a parent it is the greatest feeling to have and knowing that my daughter is in great hands. They have an incredible early childhood curriculum that engages the children at all steps of the day. Their staff is outstanding with knowledge and you can tell they enjoy their job! The school director Ms. Surely is amazing at her job and is always available when I have questions.What I also like about this school is that the kids eat in a cafeteria and not at their classrooms. It is a very clean and organized school! We receive daily pictures and what they have been doing. I highly recommend this preschool to anyone looking more than a daycare. read more

This place is amazing my daughter gets treated with love and care. Even tho I work from home I drive 30 mins from Land O Lakes so she can still go to this school. Never had any issues. read more

At this daycare they are quick to kick your child out if the child causes them any extra work or they are more "difficult" to manage. A child will act out and it's the professional teachers to re-direct them. They hire teachers that do NOT speak English which is not a big deal for me because I'm bilingual but other parents had difficulties communicating. When you ask to see the video footage of any of the issues the "Owner" is claiming, not the actual teachers they won't provide it. There is so much more to say .......but they will deny everything! I would never recommend this daycare! After writing this review the daycare sends me an email saying they "discharge" child due to parent's behavior which is BS since she gave us the letter a couple of days ago and the parent got upset YESTERDAY!!
