She said no problem with availability and scheduled us for a walk thru and appt with Director Judy Douglas on Sept 26th. On the morning of 26th on my way to kindercare I called to let them to let them know that we will be arriving few mins early. I was informed that Judy will not be in that day and that they are full. I was welcome to take a walk thru. In this day and age of great customer service, I am astounded by the unprofessional and lousy service that we received. They should have atleast had the courtesy to call and inform me when they got full instead of just striking my kids names of the list. Now I am in Tampa, looking for alternate care in the last minute so my kids can start day care tomorrow and I can work.

We had a bird aviary, monkeys and even a bear. Mr. Besch built many C- Stores around the Tampa Bay area while his wife ran the daycare. After the Besch's aged and could no longer take care of the facility their daughter Kathy stepped in and continued their dreams. Kathy passed away several years ago but I'm glad to see that the facility is going strong. I have many fond memories of climbing to the top of that rocketship and pretending to be King of Safety Land.

The associate pastor performed the funeral, but only after I was asked to change the time so it didn't conflict with the church picnic. The associate pastor left quickly so he wouldn't miss the picnic. For months after that, I received no calls and both the pastor and associate pastor would pass me in the hallway and wouldn't even ask me how I was. I wrote a letter to the pastor regarding my disappointment with the lack of caring. He never responded to me, but gave the letter to the associate pastor who asked to meet with my husband and me. He sat at my kitchen table and told me that if we weren't happy with the church, maybe we should find another one. We did.

This is not a place where they care about your child or put the child's needs ahead of the school--they ONLY care about the money coming in and the reputation of the school . There is a sickness in the administration. Don't get me wrong, there are some good people and good teachers there. The problems come from the administration. If you encounter any problems of any kind, they will close ranks and defend the school at all cost. They will side with the biggest donor, they will manipulate you to keep your tuition flowing. Take my advice, as a parent of two children who have attended CDS for the past 7 years, choose another school.
