The staffwere all friendly and welcoming. This is a busy daycare site with plenty of staff. All staff briefly observed by me were calm and pleasant and very focused on the children. The staff involved with the care of my child answered questions freely and professionally. They were very familiar with the child. The older children, were happily playing and following instructions well. Lots of interesting age appropriate activities were in progress and the children were engrossed. There was care taken to check my visitor identification and security was high as it should be.

The administrative staff and the classroom teachers are truly a your partner in raising your kid. The learning activities, organization of curriculum, cleanliness of facility, communication with parents, safety of the children was all top notch, we never had any issues or confusion. As a parent I relied on the daily reports to manage my baby's time and eating habits at home. The staff of Pitter Patter truly cares about each individual child and they make sure every single one of them is seen and heard. At the end of the year when they did their last round of testing to prepare the kids for kindergarten my son tested at a first grade level, I think that there speaks for itself. It is such a hard thing putting your child in daycare (especially when your child is an infant). I have to say that SHUMPS is a great place and I feel really good about the care my son receives here. There really aren't many options for daycare in Seminole Heights and I called SHUMPS when I was only 5 weeks pregnant to get on the list. I landed on the list 5 months later than I needed to be (due in September 2016 and was on the list for April 2017). That said, a spot ended up coming open much earlier. The price is pretty competitive, but most importantly, my son absolutely LOVES all the employees. They are so sweet to him and they give a personal touch. They do a lot of fun activities for the kids (even a Christmas pageant). I highly recommend SHUMPS to anyone looking for quality childcare in the Heights!

The teachers are always so kind to the kids and mine are learning a lot. The front office is very transparent and love all the arts and crafts we get sent home. Highly recommend this center for your kids, they are in the care of the kindest people.
