Water well suddenly shut off on July 4, I called around and contacted Citrus and they said that because it was a holiday weekend I would be charged double time. July 4 was a Thursday so I had to wait until Monday, with no water. Called back Monday morning and was told they would be sending one of their guys out shortly. Never even received a call back and in the meantime I contacted a different company who came right out and got me up and running for an affordable price. This company is a joke. This is a great company! They replaced my submersible well pump over a year ago. The service they provided was amazing then. My well pump had quit out of the blue yesterday and I called them after hours. They came 2 my house the next day at 10 am, fixed the problem(dead bug in the contacts)and didn't even charge a service call!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend! read more

They did a superb job repairing my well system and water tank for home. They return your call or answer the phone promptly. They went out of their way to come back 2 days for us to accommodate getting a tree cut down and out of their way (rather than rescheduling me in weeks). My neighbor had called CWD a while back when he had some problems with his well. I was having problems with my water tank and asked the guy to come and look at it. A few hours later he can and checked it out and told me what was wrong with it and did not bill me for the time, which was very nice​ of him. When the bladder finally​ failed I called him back and he quoted me $600 but it actually only cost less than $500. Recently we had a bad storm and my well was hit by lightning​. It was after hours so I had to pay the $115 for 30 minutes to have them come out. They confirmed that the pump was not working. The next day they came out and replaced the pump. They quoted me $1200 but it was $1134. I did have some concerns about the price of the pump. They charged me $886.00 for the pump alone. I could not find a pump over $700.00 online so that is something to look out for. Also,​ there were some other mistakes on the invoice. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR INVOICE AND DOUBLE CHECK THEIR MATH. If I had not noticed the date on the invoice I would have lost 2 months off the warrantee. With that said it took nothing away from the work that was done and the professionalism​ that Ryan showed me. I always ask for Ryan but all the guys are great. They are young but seem to really know their business. read more

A great job repairing our system. The well was cycling on and of even with the main valve to the sprinkler controllers shut off. I called Citrus Well, which had installed our well in January of 2012, and explained the problem. They sent Mark out the same day. After explaining the problem to Mark he said it's likely the bladder in the tank. He pressed the plunger in the schrader valve, and sure enough, water came out instead of air.. Since he had anticipated that as the problem, he had a tank on his truck. He proceeded to dig out the old tank then cut the piping as well as the main valve, which was almost impossible to turn after almost 14 years. He did an outstanding job installing the new tank. So as not to have to cut anything in the future, he installed a union to ease disassembly if it was ever necessary again. All in all, the most professional and neatest job anyone could want. I asked many questions about what he was doing and why, and Mark patiently answered and explained each step. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to do the job. I you have a well problem, Citrus Well is definitely the company to call! read more

Recently, we woke up early on a Sunday morning only to discover a broken water pipe to our well out in the yard. Water was gushing out like Old Faithful and of course these things always seem to happen on weekends or holidays for some reason known only to the universe. After leaving a message at one highly advertised company that failed to even return my call, we contacted Citrus Well Drilling of Hernando that also advertised 24/7 emergency service. Mark, the on-call employee for the company, politely answered my phone call immediately and after finishing the emergency call he was currently on, responded to our Citrus County home in a very reasonable time thereafter. After a complete inspection of the system, both inside and out, we agreed to completely repair the broken system at a fair price. After all, what's more important than water for daily use and consumption? Within a very short time, he repaired the well as promised and installed the new parts which consisted of top of the line equipment which included some very nice upgrades to make it even more efficient than before. Throughout the entire process, he took the time to thoroughly explain everything in the process from beginning to end and it was ultimately a quality installation completed in a timely manner. We couldn't be happier with our new well system repair and improvements and we highly recommend Citrus Well Drilling of Hernando. You won't regret it. I contacted Citrus Pump & Repair on a Thursday evening when I came home from work to discover that we had no water. We checked the breakers and the connection to the pump and could not find the problem ourselves. I was greeted by a friendly lady who took all of our information and assured me that someone would be out to fix the problem in the morning. (It was after hours and I did not ask for evening help). A man came promptly to our home the following morning located the problem and resolved the problem in a courteous, professional manner. I don't really know what plumbers and well-pump repair cost but I expected to pay a bit higher than it came to, so for that I was pleased also. I would recommend them hands down. read more

I had this company come out to my rental property to replace the media and do a tune-up. I specifically had my renter be at the property to make sure that the problem was fixed. There was low water flow into the trailer because the media was clogged and needed to be back washed and cleaned. I called Citrus well out and they sent one of their guys out. He called me and told me that the media would need to be back flushed and he would do a tune-up. my renter then came out and asked if she needed to be there and he said no and he let her go. He then charged me $188 for his work. I agreed and was charged $218. When I brought this up to the front office manager, it took almost 2 weeks to get the $30 back into my account because the original estimate was 188. One day after he left, my tenant is saying that it is doing the same thing, hardly any water coming into the trailer and it clears itself up when they bypass the water filtration system. I called them back to find out what he did, and she said he's not a plumber, but he did a backwash and tune-up on your water filtration system. The technician then went back out to the property and said it was my well, which I just had the well checked by a reputable company and they said there was nothing wrong with it..I was in shock to find out about a month later, they tried to charge me the $218 again. I had to call them that day and lambaste them for doing that. The office manager said it was because the charge didn't go through the first time. I then stated that it's been over three weeks and the charge has definitely been taken out of my account and then if it wasn't, she would have never given me the $30 difference. She then had a bad attitude and put the $218 immediately back in my account that day. So here we are October, my tenant still has the filtration system shut off because it is too clogged and it won't allow water to freely go into the trailer. On top of that, I have since had another company come out behind him and tell me that whoever was messing with the well set the gauge up extremely high which made it really dangerous. he definitely stated that none of the media was touched and that's the reason why the water flow going into the trailer was so low because it had not been back washed. Do not use this company at all ever. He did everything wrong and the company did nothing right. what a big rip-off company and I wished I would have never even called them out to my property at all. read more

We have used Citrus pump repair & well drilling over the past 28 years for repairs, deepening of the well and installation of a new pump. Service has been fast and completed with no issues.
