They return phone or text messages within an hour, they arrive on-time to every meeting, their bids were competitive, and when the job was finished, the bill was not one penny more than the original estimate. Their crews are hard working, respectful, clean, responsible and extremely good at their trades. The siding crew arrived the day after a dumpster and honeypot was delivered in front of my home. They worked long hours and cleaned up every day before they left. The siding on 3/4 of my house took less than a week and looked perfect. The painting crew came a few weeks later. They had my windows and trim taped and draped before I had my teeth brushed. Any time I found the slightest spot I wanted repainted, it was fixed immediately. Everyone you will work with is kind, honest, supportive and want you to be incredibly happy with everything. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Citrus Valley. Chris is a REALLY good guy who was always willing to work really hard to make sure he scammed as much money from us as possible. He came in with two hired guys off the street and demo'd our property. Then he bailed. He kept asking for more money, he'd have use give him checks, Zelle, wire, he'd bail to Vegas for lengths at a time. Worst possible contractor you can do business with. I would DEFINITELY recommend Chris and his wife to a lawyer, they will make the lawyer bank! Both Chris & Veronica Hutchinson have been found guilt of fraud after two homeowners sued them. I want to sue him as well, but what's the point, he's got no money. Search his previous Contractor Licenses at cslb.gov Both Hutchinson Contstruction and Monarch Kitchen & Bath were shut down by the license board. His current Citrus Valley License is also in the process of being revoked. Google the phone number on the license site. It goes to Crystal Cove Construction. Its just another Front for Chris to continue defrauding people. read more

The bad reviews are REAL! Chris had received $1000 deposit from me and has refused to return my money. I fired this contractor due to not paying his employees and after reading the horrible horror story of reviews. I cannot employ someone who does not pay their employees. Chris hired Jimenez Demolition and they are a father and son team. They were almost in tears due to not being paid for the last 3 jobs they performed. Chris was fired on the spot. I also overheard Chris saying that he will try to take the home owner (me) for as much money as possible and that he will drag the project out. This was truly disgusting to hear to say the least. I've filed a complaint with the Contractors board and will be seeking reimbursement through the court system since Chris refuses to return my deposit. read more

Cirtus Valley Construction has done work for me on several homes in the past year. They are very knowledgeable and professional. CV completed every job on time, on budget, to code specification, per plan, and high quality. They are particularly good at solving unforeseen problems in prior work and dealing with minor gaps in scope left by other trades. I highly recommend them for framing, installing doors and trim, and siding and for sourcing and coordinating drywall, stucco, demolition, and roofing. The Citrus Valley team always do excellent high-quality work. We've had them rebuild the gables on our house, rebuild a covered patio on our casita, and replace several sections of warped and worn-out siding. We used Citrus Valley for a kitchen and bathroom remodel. Management and there crews were amazing. We removed a small shower and separate tub and had Kitchen and Bath Remodeling create one large shower with a bench and three showerheads. The process was seamless from demo, to plumbing, to tiling, and all the finishing touches. They had a crew repaint the bathroom ceiling and touch up other areas that were needed. The tile crew was very clean, polite, and courteous and did a great job. They worked long hours just to get the job done quickly. Citrus Valley Construction was recommended by my neighbor, who had seen their work while he was walking through our neighborhood. He is a former contractor, so I took his word and gave them a call. I already had several quotes (which took weeks) from other contractors, but CVC got right back to me and I had a quote within a few days. The Citrus Valley crew is wonderful. I kept adding on jobs and they kept doing it! They tile my bathroom floors they install toilets and vanities they install new bathroom lights and a chandelier in the dining room they installed carpeting on my stairs and landed on my floors and they painted the whole inside of the condo. They probably did more stuff but I can't think of it! The condo looks brand new! All the crew on Citrus Valley construction are very friendly and they're very professional.
