Our primary vet was closed the day after Christmas and our poor dog had a terrible case of diarrhea. We had never been to Citrus Vet before but they were close by and had good reviews. They managed to squeeze us in within a few hours and got us meds to stop the diarrhea. If we didn't already have a vet we loved, we'd definitely be here. Highly recommend and so grateful again for them getting us in last minute!

Dr White is an amazing veterinarian. He took Wonderful care of my sweet girl and he's so kind and thorough. The staff is wonderful As well. You can feel safe bringing your furry family members here. They are in capable and caring hands. Very happy with this office! It is clean and well run.

Citrus Veterinary Hospital is in a league of its own. After moving from Orange County in 2021, we struggled to find a vet that offered genuine, compassionate care until we discovered this team. It is the only clinic our beloved Marley ever loved. From his very first visit with Dr. James White to his last, Marley was always at ease. He actually wagged his tail whenever we said we were going to 'the doctor,' which was a first for him! The care provided by Dr. Kimbralin Holcomb, Dr. James and Angela White, and Dr. Elizabeth Mock is simply amazing. I am in awe of their compassion. The vet techs Cassidy, Kaity, Emily, Nicole, Ariana, Melissa, Jordan, and Kass as well as the receptionists, are so welcoming and courteous. Marley experienced nothing but love every time we walked through the door. Between the compassionate care and the budget-friendly service, my family and I (and especially Marley) want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so grateful for everything they did for Marley and will continue to trust them with all our pets. Thank you for everything!

We have been going here for a few years now and always had Dr. Holcomb. Ever since we met her, she has always been patient, kind, empathetic and very friendly! She listens and addresses each and every concern, and then recaps everything before she leaves. My dog is usually scared of other vets but not Dr. Holcomb. I can't recommend this hospital enough! Even though we've moved 30 minutes away we still come here because of the great bond we have developed. Also, their new location/building is beautifully built. From the front desk being so spacious, the waiting room is clean with more seats than before. The patient rooms are also clean and have comfy benches. There isn't a single complaint I have of the staff, doctors, or cleanliness of the building! They even have a patch of grass to pee right before you enter! I'll never stop coming here!

We came here to get one of my dog's Dental cleaning done. We have always been extremely happy with Dr White. All their staff are always attentive and friendly. We've gotten our dogs teeth cleaned 4 times already. All previous times , Dr White would call us directly and explain to us all the procedures done, and explain which tooth were extracted, etc. There was also Before and After photos of our dog's teeth. However, this time I had to text and request reports be sent to me. We didn't get a phone call from Dr White either. We got a call from the front desk staff asking if our dog was doing okay. I asked a few questions but she didn't have any answers to my questions. Citrus Veterinary Clinic has grown a lot. We are long time clients of this clinic... almost for 10 years. Dr White did a fabulous job taking care of our older dog, Tintin. We are forever grateful of Dr White. Quality should be kept the same.

First time for me having to make the decision of euthanasia for a pet, my girl Diva. What a horrible experience this vet has left me with. I'm traumatized over my poor girl suffering because they didn't put the IV catheter correctly and administered all the medication to her for euthanasia not once explaining what was what and me having to ask the doctor. After the sedation medication she did not become sedated but instead started chocking gasping horribly the doctor says she needs more. She is only 14lbs!! Goes to get more while my poor girl is choking gasping!!! Gives her more proceeds with the euthanasia medication my poor girl is still choking and gasping she walks out of the room comes back and my girl is the same. Checks her IV and says " it's not in right" takes her from me her head back eyes rolling brings her back with another IV she's out of it by this time not gone yet gives her more euthanasia injection checks her heart and says "she's gone I'm so sorry " walks right back out. My baby suffered!!! Gasping for air horribly due to their negligence!!!. A doctor comes in around 20 minutes later and states she's the owner trying to console me while I'm traumatized and devastated trying to keep it together how sorry she is and to rest assured she didn't feel anything as she was choking and gasping because she was sedated. No she was not!!! The sedation did not work!!! She tells me it was agonal breathing and sometimes that can happen. Never once was I told that. What my poor baby went through was definitely not agonal breathing!!! I have researched it. This experience at this vet has been horrific. And all I get is "We are so sorry would you like a lock of hair and I we can give you ink paw prints?" I am so angry and hurting that I put my poor girl through this. I pray no one has to endure the horrific traumatizing experience I endured with my beloved Diva. Rest in peace my baby girl.

Milo got his snip snip from here. We know it's more expensive to come to the Vet to get your doggo fixed but Milo was well taken care of. We also have returned several times because of Milo's poop issues and found them very helpful. We love Doctor Mock and we would come here again because of how much she knows and is willing to listen. She loves her job and has a passion for doggos and animals! We rate her service 5 stars!

I came in a couple weeks ago because my cat Lucky suffered a spinal cord injury from a freak accident. We were in the middle of moving (boxes everywhere) and my dog and him got into a scuffle that lead to him messing up his tail. I was beyond stressed since we were in the middle of finishing packing up our house and I was so worried about Lucky. It had been a year since I had put him in his carrier and he had really put on some weight since then, so it was such a challenge to get him in his carrier on top of all of this as well. After we got him seen, and I dropped him off. I went and purchased a new larger carrier for him and I donated the old one to the clinic because I've definitely been in a position before where I've had to show up at an emergency clinic with my cat in a laundry basket, unprepared (I'm sure we've all been there). This was our first time coming here and honestly I felt so at ease the second I walked in the door. We made an appointment on the phone and once we checked in, we didn't wait long to be seen. This office is brand new and it is very welcoming, clean, and roomy inside. All of the staff were super nice and helpful. We saw Dr. Anderson and she was honestly SO amazing to work with. Lucky ended up having some blood work, multiple x-rays, and he ended up needing some medication's to take home. I was expecting to walk out spending like $1500 on his care due to the x-rays alone and I paid less than $1000. I know that vet bills are never cheap, but honestly for the care that we got, I was surprised at the price we walked out paying. They took such good care of lucky and I'm so grateful that it didn't break the bank. Once we took him home the office even texted me multiple different times to check in on him and get updates. It was so convenient and nice. Overall I'm so grateful for Doctor Andersen and her staff taking SUCH good care of Lucky. They truly do care about their furry patients so much. I feel super confident with any of my fur babies being in their care!

I had written a review a few months ago for the front staff authorizing charges to my account without my permission and since then, they've started going through the process of taking signatures for transactions, so I'm happy they used my review for better service. Again, Dr. Singh is amazing. Dr. Delgado kept insisting for the urinalysis to get any form of medication and the front staff really has to be more organized when it comes to discharging with medications. --- I am really sad how unfair it was that my pet's treatment got dismissed even when I had asked for some form of antibiotics. My pet, 20.5 years at the time, started urinating blood, so on Thursday, 2/12, I had brought him in hoping that he can get antibiotics for this UTI that he had. With symptoms of hematuria and consistent small amounts of urine, I hoped to get some form of antibiotics or medication to ease his discomfort. Unfortunately, since he wasn't able to hold in his urine, they weren't able to get enough for a urinalysis and they had sent him home and told me to contact them the next day if he's still urinating blood. My sister picked up my pet Thursday evening, so I feel like they were in a rush just to get out of there instead of ensuring that my sister went home with everything she was supposed to. Called them Friday morning and said he was still urinating blood, and they said to monitor him and if he's still urinating blood, to bring him Saturday for a urinalysis. I contacted them again Friday evening with photographs stating that he's still urinating blood and they said I can bring him in for a tech appointment Saturday morning. My brother brings in my pet Saturday (2/14) morning, and they comped the urinalysis which was nice. I had asked my brother if they sent him home with antibiotics but they said that they need the urinalysis results before prescribing anything and since they're closed on Sundays, they would contact me on Monday. I called them around 9AM on Monday (2/16), and they said that they got the urinalysis results but had to wait for the doctor to have time to talk about the results with me. By this time, my pet was not eating, drinking or walking. I know I should have taken him to the ER but given his age, I didn't want to stress him out and was hoping that he would be interested enough in food by the time they gave me the medication. The doctor ends up calling me around 2PM and stated that he did have some form of UTI (I knew this already..) and that he will be sent home with amoxicillin and that it would be available for pickup within the hour and that the gabapentin prescribed to him should help with the pain as well. I drive over to the hospital an hour later and the staff informs me that I will be picking up amoxicillin (antibiotics) and I inquire about the gabapentin (pain medication) that the doctor brought up during our phone call. The staff seemed confused and they then asked me "Oh, you didn't get it on Thursday?" Uh, no I didn't get it on Thursday. This is why I had inquired about it? I saw on my previous invoices that I had gotten charged for the Gabapentin on 2/12 and I'm really angered that my pet was in pain for 5 days. And even when I had my brother bring my pet in on that Saturday (2/14), that they couldn't just double check anything. I know it's partially my fault for not making sure, but I honestly thought that they had given my pet a gabapentin shot but to find out he was supposed to be sent home with the pain medication instead... it's just really flabbergasting. I gave my pet the gabapentin and hoped that it would help subside any pain my pet had so he can eat, but an hour passed.. then 2 hours passed.. and my pet unfortunately was declining.. He wasn't interested in eating his favorite treats (and the amoxicillin is supposed to be given with food), so I took him to ER and unfortunately, had to choose humane euthanasia due to the extent of how badly he declined. I'm so upset with how this was handled. I don't understand why my pet had to suffer his last few days of his life because he wasn't sent home with pain medication. I also don't understand why they couldn't just give me the amoxicillin even though it was a possibility that it may NOT have been a UTI but at least given it to me to make sure he didn't worsen. I know my previous review of the unauthorized CareCredit charges may have made me seem like a difficult client, but take it out on me, not on the care of my pet. I feel like he would still be here if I was just given the gabapentin on the correct day or the amoxicillin as a "just in case" prescription but he didn't get any despite me asking about the antibiotics and the last few days of his life was filled with discomfort and a veterinary hospital that kept dismissing my hopes for care for my pet.

I went in for a consultation for a teeth cleaning, and saw one of the technicians who recommended an "echocardiogram" as part of the pre-op. My doggie has a heart murmur, so I wanted the echocardiogram to get that out of the way before proceeding with the rest of the pre-op. Unfortunately, for reasons out of their control, the radiology equipment wasn't working last week, so I had to schedule this echocardiogram. I canceled an appointment that I had previously scheduled with a cardiologt (from a specialist vet clinic), since they were going to do the echocardiogram here. I took my doggie in for his appointment yesterday, and Dr. Chad informed me that my doggie would need x-rays due to the heart murmur. I asked him why that wasn't part of the original pre-op, and in a very condescending way, he told me that he was not a part of that consultation and had nothing to say about it. I decided to ignore how I felt, paid for the echocardiogram and x-rays, and just got a call with the results. Upon looking at everything that happened, I came to find out that my doggie received an electrocardiogram, NOT an echocardiogram, which is what I scheduled, and the appointment I canceled with a specialist! It is not okay that I was charged for an echocardiogram, when he got an electrocardiogram. And it is not okay that I got suckered into x-rays when the echocardiogram hadn't even been done. Now, the cardiologist who was originally supposed to see my doggie a couple of days ago only has openings in late October! This is unacceptable. I am not playing with my dog's health or my time.
