When I checked in the pharmacist told me to go to another window where I would be helped. Another pharmacist or clerk acknowledged I had an appointment & told me to take a seat & someone would help me. It was 3:55 when I took a seat & at 4:10 I had yet to be helped. So I asked if anyone was going to help me since I had been sitting for 15 min. The pharmacist asked for my insurance card & told me to sit again while he prepared the shot. By the time I got the shot it was 4:17 & that's because I got up & asked if anyone was going to help me. Who knows how much longer I had to wait if I hadn't spoken up. I showed up 15 min early for no reason except to wait because they didn't even bother to make my insurance card until after my appointment time. Also I was the only person waiting for a vaccine & there were only a few customers waiting to pick up meds. Walgreens should not have appointments if they're not going to honor them. It should be first come first served.

To be blunt, the Pharmacist was extremely rude and did not take the time to understand my request which was to fill very necessary medication before leaving the state. The pharmacy tech was just as bad. This location used to be a Rite-Aid and should be a model Walgreens tries to emulate. They cared about helping people.

Spence's always checks multiple suppliers to get the very lowest price they can for me. They do their research to find out the most affordable way for me to take the medications I need. The compounders are so kind and helpful, and they're always working with me to make getting medications as easy as possible. They are fast at compounding and filling prescriptions right after the Dr. calls them in. It's very clear that they actually care about me as a patient, which is something I'm very grateful for. I've lived in multiple different places, and have used a lot of pharmacies. But none have even come close to how good Spence's has been to me.
