I had an appointment for the flu shot at 4 today. Made appointment online yesterday, completed the…read moremandatory forms & showed up 15 minutes prior to appointment as requested. When I checked in the pharmacist told me to go to another window where I would be helped. Another pharmacist or clerk acknowledged I had an appointment & told me to take a seat & someone would help me. It was 3:55 when I took a seat & at 4:10 I had yet to be helped. So I asked if anyone was going to help me since I had been sitting for 15 min. The pharmacist asked for my insurance card & told me to sit again while he prepared the shot. By the time I got the shot it was 4:17 & that's because I got up & asked if anyone was going to help me. Who knows how much longer I had to wait if I hadn't spoken up. I showed up 15 min early for no reason except to wait because they didn't even bother to make my insurance card until after my appointment time. Also I was the only person waiting for a vaccine & there were only a few customers waiting to pick up meds. Walgreens should not have appointments if they're not going to honor them. It should be first come first served.

They don't even acknowledge you. However I have found that the people of Utah are not friendly. I think they are tired of tourist. But without us there goes the value. Once you finally go to checkout, you can wait in a huge line at either self checkout or a single cashier lane. Many of the people who work as cashiers and supervise the self checkouts are terribly unhelpful and rude. Some of the other people who work here can be nice, but it can be a frustrating experience to shop here.
