A perfectly satisfactory place to sleep, but nothing more fun than that. I booked rather last minute on one of the popular booking websites, and with taxes and fees, the total cost was $70 USD for the night.
IKEA-style dorm room-quality furniture. A TV in the room with cable TV, primarily Mexican channels, although there was an English-speaking CNN International channel. There's a desk and wooden chair room in the small room, but no sofa, etc. The bed definitely wasn't lush, but I'm not picky about the quality of a bed.
Everything was clean.
Annoyingly, the hot water wasn't working when I tried to shower in the morning, but I didn't care enough to complain.
No bar or restaurant or pool here. Apparently there's a small gym.
Free continental breakfast.
The staff was friendly. I greatly appreciated one of the hotel workers giving me a free 10-minute ride back to the US border after I checked out in the morning.
