She proactively told me what to expect with the service call and re the timing, and followed-up with emails that provided photos of the technicians who would be visiting (great safety precaution). Zahir and La Aung were my plumbers and I felt comforted by Zahir's friendly and thorough explanation of how they would undertake the job. He promptly provided me with a quote before starting the necessary work. The job seemed reasonably priced, particularly since it was in a very awkwardly cramped space (with a pipe leak behind the HVAC). They made no complaints at all about the awkward space and conducted their work efficiently. Payment was a breeze with their mobile tablet (that accepts credit card payments) and he had me check my satisfaction with their work before processing payment. Zahir also pointed out some redundant piping that he discovered that could be addressed prophylactically to prevent similar issues in the future and the office provided me a written quote for that work. Hoerner also agreed they would come back again (at no charge) if there were any issues with the work done today. We have made several changes to management and staff to make certain higher standards of professionalism will be upheld consistently. Thanks for your feedback." So I wrote back to them, explaining again the situation, and suggested that if they were really sorry and really wanted to prove their commitment to professionalism they would refund my money. Unsurprisingly, I never received any further communications. I believe that the recent replies to the the various negative comments were simply a weak attempt to prove legitimacy. Don't use them. I see no actual improvement. Original Review Don't use this service - they are incompetent at best, or a sham at worse. I called this service in February to fix a broken cartridge in our shower. Upon calling, I was informed that I would need to place a $400 (!) deposit to ensure that I would not cancel the call, but that the actual charges for services rendered would be taken from the deposit. I agreed as I needed this looked into promptly. The plumber inspected the shower, and told my husband and I that the only way to "fix" this problem was to install a whole new shower system. The plumber advised us that the cost for the replacement would be $1700. Surprised by this, we enquired as to whether the broken cartridge could simply be replaced - we had had broken cartridges in the past and they were replaceable. He said that maybe he could fix it. He quoted the cost of $638. After a short attempt, he said he was unable to replace the cartridge. He once again advised that the only way to fix the shower - or even to simply stop the leak from the broken cartridge - was to replace it completely. We reluctantly agreed to proceed but inquired about the brand and model of parts the replacement parts to ensure their quality. The plumber said he didn't know the make or models and refused to let us look at the packages to look up the model numbers on the internet (it was "too much trouble' for him to go to this truck). Due to the complete unprofessionalism of the plumber, we declined the work. We were told that regardless of the lack of service we were still obligated to pay the initial deposit (already taken on MC) and if we had issue with this we would need to call head office. Which we did...6 times with no response. We had a local plumber replace the cartridge easily for $200, all parts and labour included. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with Mastercard. They have yet to respond to the BBBs inquiry after a couple of attempts.

They sent someone out and told me I didn't need to stay home, as the plumber could handle the job independently. Big mistake. I came home to an utter disaster. My brand new floors had marks, the bathroom looked like a war zone, and to top it all off -- they used my son's school uniform from the laundry basket to wipe up gunk from the floor. They even used one of my face towels to clean the mess. As a caregiver and mother, I had to clean up their filthy work late at night and try to salvage my son's uniform for school the next morning. When I called to complain, the owner, Jason, had the nerve to tell me, "At least it was the shower and not the toilet," and "At least the uniform didn't have fecal matter." That's their standard of professionalism? They threw me a $200 credit as if that would fix the sheer disrespect and unprofessional behavior. No integrity. No accountability. No care for customers.
