(Covid era) Christie the owner is super nice and made my experience so enjoyable. The ambience is so relaxing, cute decor and furniture, very clean, extra sanitary precautions, and they had a variety of hot tea to enjoy. I had hot lemon and ginger tea to sip while I was getting my drip. I come to philly a few times a year to visit family, and I will definitely going back to City Hydration to see Christie. Also, there is a chiropractor and meditation practice in the same space, which is SO CONVENIENT for a full-on wellness day. City Hydration is in the Philadelphia Building off avenue of the arts. Okay people say that this is a miracle cure for a hangover. Not exactly. You'll feel better than when you came in but it's not worth $200 in any lifetime. Maybe it works better if you're just tired and have a headache but if you're nauseous you still will be when you leave. Bright spots - the guy working there was amazing. Let's start with atmosphere.... a sterile zen den. Looks like a living room with comfy, reclining leather chairs and is super clean. Christie (RN) is the sweetest and has a barely there touch! Her bedside manor is to be commended. She listened to my ramblings and concocted a bag to fix my ailments. It's now 6 hrs later, I feel great and ready for Monday! Desperate after trying to recover from the stomach flu, I came across this gem and WOWWW! I walked in feeling super lethargic, nauseated, dehydrated and just overall not well. I ended up doing regular saline with B12 and within 10 minutes, there was a noticeable difference (in the best way)! I started to perk up and feel like my normal self for the first time in a week. Not to mention, Christie and Morgan are an absolute dream team! Morgan helped me choose what was right for the symptoms I was experiencing and was super knowledgeable. This was a godsend. Called yesterday after weeks of being sick myself and possibly having spread the crud to my boyfriend. Ordered the "Cold and Flu" drip for each of us, delivered concierge style. I feel a noticeable difference in my body as far as energy and mood and I'm told it improves for 24-48 hours for max effect, and then the feel good feeling can last up to a week! UPDATE: The area where the nurse had inserted the IV Drip is bruised. The place is supposed to be rejuvenation drip therapy center and that's the one thing they fucked up. The nurse inserted the IV in my hand and it was a bloody mess so she realized she f up i g and switched to my arms. I had to tell her that the IV on my hands were hurting! I do not recommend not going back! I HAVE A BRUISE. I've gotten multiple IV drips done before and this is 100% on the nurse technician being in apt! read more

I was literally dying, it wasn't pretty... I Couldn't keep anything down, bread, chicken noodle soup, anything I put in came right back up. So what do I do? Go to the hospital and spend hundreds if not thousands and a whole day? Or go to city hydration where for a nominal fee (compared to a hospital) and 30 min, I could get hydrated and anti nausea meds delivered via IV in a calm relaxed environment (which a hospital is anything but)... Within minutes of sticking my arm with the needle I was feeling 80%better and by the time it was done I was BACK! I was able to eat my first meal of the day (and keep it down), I was able to return to normal life as a human! 100% success! It was a Monday after the first Eagles tailgate and lets just say I was feeling a little rough. One of my coworkers recognized my mental state at the time and referred me to City Hydration. To be honest, I was both skeptical and nervous about IV therapy but hey I was hungover and willing to try it out. From the moment I stepped inside City Hydration, all my anxiety and skepticism was put to ease when Christie introduced herself, told me to recline in a comfortable chair, gave me a water and offered a blanket. She knew I was on a tight schedule and with the utmost efficiency she started the hydration process. There was no pain, there was no feeling of coldness, it was a tranquil experience that took no more than 30 minutes. After the process was complete, I stood up and almost immediately recognized that my nauseousness and dizziness was subdued. Christie did state that it could take an hour or two to realize the full results. I'd have to agree with her statement, within a couple hours I was my normal functional self again. I think for anyone who is skeptical, City Hydration is the perfect place to try IV therapy. I would highly recommend it and will go back to try the other IV options. So, I'm doing dry January. Still managed to get dehydrated drinking too much coffee and not replacing fluids working out. Suffered for 2 days trying to rehydrate properly. Went here for a Covid PCR test since they are hard to come by at the moment. It was easy to book online, however there are no prices listed. Only after I signed in and she swiped me did she tel me the price of $175!!! I thought I may have misheard here as they can be $75 at some urgent cares. Unfortunately no that was the price for a three minute visit, when at many places covid tests are FREE. Ver poor service to not be upfront with clients and definitely taking full advantage of a very vulnerable state we're all in. DO NOT RECOMMEND, PLEASE LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE FOR ASSISTANCE. During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic my skin suffered, I washed and moisturized, but that's it. I was in need of a deep cleaning facial so I went to City Hydration to try their new Platinum Hydrafacial and let me tell you it did not disappoint! First of all the space is gorgeous and smells great, I was kindly greeted by the staff as soon as I walked in which made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I was then taken to a private room where a masked & gloved technician completed my facial. The facial consists of several steps and took about an hour. She explained everything as she went, but still allowed me to relax which made all the difference for me! Pores clean, face lifted and skin tightened! I could feel it working! And when the treatment was complete my skin was literally glowing. I wasn't going to write a long review but businesses deserve a special shout out when they're doing it right...especially during covid-19.
