They let you accompany your child and watch while the hygienist does the cleaning. The hygienist was extremely skilled at getting my toddler daughter to follow directions, singing silly songs to distract her and at the end my daughter received a goody bag with a toothbrush, mini toothpaste, stickers. No cavities yet and the cleanings seems efficient and thorough. My only gripe would be they don't have any weekend / Friday appointments.

She did an amazing job with a deep cleaning that day (while assuring me that my teeth were not actually going to fall out!) and I have been going for regular check ups and cleanings ever since. She even did a fantastic job straightening my teeth last year with Invisalign. I don't feel my teeth constantly grinding anymore, and I have confidence in myself when I smile now.
