I bought two rooms full of beds, frames, mattresses dresses, nightstands, etc. One of the adjustable bases and mattress were no good from day one . they offered to exchange the mattress. The mattress that broughg to be exchanged, was defective so it was taken back. I have been calling them for Service.( mind you I have an extended service plan ) on the adjustable base, which goes up and down on its own in the middle of the night, which they said is normal because it's the way of bed reset itself, they refuse to take it back. They refuse to exchange the mattress over all three service appointments. They keep telling me there was nothing wrong with it. After writing a review on the city mattress website under the adjustable base , they said they tried to help me a d made numerous exchanges , which was a lie. They also said somebody would be reaching out to make it right, so far they have not done so and they removed my review. an interesting sidenote, is my mattress, the prana Namaste, as well as the prana 5.0 slat adjustable base are both discontinued. in the last week Went to the Wellington location to help my elderly parents purchase a mattress. We were greeted by Terri who asked my folks about how they sleep (back, side). She emphasized that comfort is key and encouraged them to lay in the position they sleep in for 5 minutes on several beds. The one my parents liked was one of the less expensive mid tier models which was ok with Terri as comfort is what a matress is about. She had a lot of patience working with my parents and didn't pressure them in any way. She arranged for delivery the next day and explained to them City Mattresses exchange policy that if they didn't like the mattress they could exchange it within 60 to 90 days. If you are looking for a mattress I strongly recommend Terri at Wellington City Mattress. Mattress shopping can be a real hassle, but this experience was a real good one. read more

My wife and I being a "younger" couple were new to this mattress buying experience as we were looking to replace a mattress we purchased through a friend at the time 5 years ago. Not knowing what to expect, naturally we shopped around. After going to a couple large furniture stores we were able to identify the mattress we wanted, but weren't sure on the price, and didn't really like the "used car salesman" vibe we were getting. I checked some online prices as well and everything was roughly the same. Our last stop was City Mattress, and I am so happy we went here! I first called to get pricing and Angie (geez I hope I got her name right) answered the phone and was very helpful! The price she quoted was much much lower than all of the other stores we checked so we figured we would swing by to check it out. Once we got there we were greeted by Ben who was extremely friendly, patient, and just an all around good guy to deal with and have a conversation. We told him the mattress we wanted, he didn't pressure us into anything else, but did recommend to try for comparison. My wife and I laid on a few more and were ultimately sold on our original choice. Ben didn't play games with us, gave us the price out the door (tax, delivery, haul away, etc) up front with no crazy haggling, and it was much much better priced than the other stores out there. We couldn't sign the paperwork fast enough! If you're looking for a great environment to make a big purchase like a mattress, I strongly suggest City Mattress. The team at the Wellington location was knowledgeable, friendly, easygoing, and didn't pressure you into buying something. We bought a mattress from here a little over a year ago. The sales lady that helped us was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was never pushy. Sometimes you can tell that these sales people are just looking for a commission, but not with her. She actually knew her stuff. Which was a nice surprise. City Mattress at Wellington, FL. Ben was a nice enough salesperson. However, the problems I had after the 'Brownstone' bedroom furniture was delivered were the following: The bedroom set I purchased and financed, model named 'BROWNSTONE', specifically the dresser (6 drawers) and the attached mirror, were put together very, very shoddily. It was immediately apparent, after the first delivery, that the dresser's mirror was installed incorrectly and the bottom piece of the mirror did not sit correctly atop the dresser. There was a noticeable gap. You could see several screw holes in the back of the frame of the mirror where they installed it wrong and they re-screwed the frame back in thereby creating new screw holes. I informed my salesperson, Ben, and he sent a new dresser mirror to replace it and, when the delivery guys came (2nd delivery), they informed us that the mirror was cracked. (Did this happen during transport? I don't know. The delivery guys didn't tell me.) As such, Ben sent out yet another dresser mirror and this time (3rd delivery) this one was delivered and installed correctly. However, after I finally had an opportunity to start organizing and placing my clothing inside the dresser drawers, (I work at a 24-hour call center and do not have a lot of free time) I immediately noticed that the dresser's drawers were not aligned correctly. I should have noticed this during the first delivery but I didn't. One of the drawers was even rubbing up against the other drawer face and made it difficult to close. Each drawer had a very rough feel when opening and closing it as well. The misalignment of the drawers looked very ugly and you could tell it was obvious that, once again, it was installed very shoddily a very weak effort and no pride and passion was given to the drawer installations at the warehouse (or wherever they install the dresser drawers). Once again, I had to reach out to the salesperson, Ben, and he assured me that they would send out a new replacement dresser and drawers. When the delivery guys arrived (4th delivery), they scraped up the edge of the wall in my bedroom hallway when removing the existing dresser that had the misaligned drawers. When they brought in the new dresser, (they didn't scrape the wall up this time - I guess because it was wrapped with protective materials) the drawers were aligned correctly and they re-installed the existing dresser mirror and, this time, everything was to my expectations and installed correctly and looked great. I can't say it was a completely pleasant experience with City Mattress but, at least, Ben and City Mattress did, in the end, do everything to ensure that everything was made right and that I was happy with the sale and the bedroom furniture. Ben sent me an email receipt for each piece of the furniture City Mattress had to replace during the whole multiple deliveries ordeal (2 mirrors and 1 dresser - 4 deliveries total). I also cannot say I would recommend City Mattress to anyone in the future but, again, they did make things right and I am now 100% happy with all of the the furniture as well as the mattress. City Mattress could have saved themselves a lot of time, money, labor costs, delivery costs, fuel, mileage, etc. if they just would have had the persons that put together (installed) the dresser mirror and dresser drawers correctly the first time. Just as important, they could have saved me and my family member a lot of time, energy and stress as we had to make a few follow up calls to City Mattress to ensure that the furniture was to arrive during the promised allotted date and time range which they did adhere to. In summary, I purchased (financed with City Mattress via Wells Fargo) a Serta NEOMA PLUSH EUROTOP mattress, which I'm very happy with; so far. The bed-frame and box spring that sits below the mattress, the headboard, a night stand, and, of course, the aforementioned dresser and dresser mirror. Again, the name of the bedroom set is named 'Brownstone' and it is very nice. It's a dark (but not too dark) wood with a good-looking design that is designed for men (or boys) with a nice, strong look. I like the look of it very much. I acknowledge that this is my first ever review here on Yelp.com even though I've been utilizing the site for a few years now (usually via my smartphone) I've never felt compelled to sign up because I'm not a big fan of signing up to websites as it's just another username and password to have to worry about. I've always just been a "read-only" user without an account. However, this time, I finally felt the need to share my experience (now that I have a few minutes here...late on a Sunday night). I based my decision to go to City Mattress in Wellington on the positive reviews that you can observe here and, I hate to be the wet blanket and tarnish their rating, but I had to express what occurred with them. Our sales person Theresa B. greeted us at the door in a professional manor ,she never once made us feel pressured to purchase anything. I wanted to come to this City Mattress because I bought my first bed here. After seeing beds in other stores, we kind of knew what we wanted.
