Ryett was very…read morewelcoming, yet the shop looked very disorganized and there weren't any other people (customers or staff) the entire time, Ryett's procedure was very different from what I've ever experienced, however,I thought maybe it was an "Idaho thing", until my nails started loosening and a couple fell off. At the end when she said the charge was $50 I was taken back and asked why so high as it was more than I've ever paid for a fill and I've had them well over 30 yrs. Ryett said it was because she doesn't normally do acrylic and doesn't like doing them,,,, Needless to say I won't be going back!

Sunday afternoon, not so much…read more Sorry the lady was nice at Impressions Hair & Spa but my eyes were allergic to the adhesive/glue/fumes from the extension. somehow I got double conjunctivitis in both eyes. I'm so grossed out. Immediately after I got my eyelashes done, my eyes would not stop watering. I could tell something was wrong wrong because they would not stop burning/watering. I got them done on Sunday by Sunday night I was calling around other eyelash extension places and this lady helped me from butterfly beauty in twin falls. Kudos to her for helping me, she told me to go to the doctor to get my eyes looked at because it wasn't normal. She said to go to the store and get Claritin and see if it was an allergic reaction. So I took the medicine and at least the watering stopped. Monday morning, I woke up to my eyes, matted shut and white thick stuff coming out of my eyes are used eyedrops however it did not work Tuesday morning. I went into my doctor. I paid 120 at impressions hair and spa. & gave the lady a 20$ dollar tip. Just for me to take a trip to the doctor. I'm just sharing my opinion & experience with you. Please be careful.

Since March 8th 2024, after showing pics of bayolage and sharing how much i was enjoying my hair…read morethat taken 6 years to grow to a length below my shoulders; i have suffered endless breakage from the salon claiming 2.5 hours of soaking in bleach wrapped in tin foil. 7 months after Karely Lopez' "talents", i realized that my hair was not recovering. I returned to the salon and was met by "Melinda"; whom proceeded to ask if i had previous pics (of course i don't due to new phones) and if i treated my hair (of course i did not) and asked if Karely recommended or applied any product. Karely did not. She did not wash before applying her products nor did she apply oils after. On that day, she had mentioned another lady had been unhappy with her work prior and asked me if i still wanted to have my hair did. I did, of course, i did. After sitting in her chair approximately from 3:30p- 8:00p, spending 295.00 + 5.00 tip ( i told her i had exactly 300.00 to pay ) and having my hair blowed dry and heat curled after the bleaching; i am here to tell people use extreme caution when trusting strangers to touch you and care about it. Melinda trimmed oiled and blow dried my hair, giving it a false appearance of health AFTER having her employees suggest that i have an underlying problem as to why my hair was fried and abused. I am not diagnosed with alopecia or other underlying health condition- unless menopause counts! After 3 egg masks and other means of rebuilding biotin protein and keratin, i have finally managed in May 2025, to stop the excessive breaking of my fine older hair. It is guessed that it will be at least 5 years before length and burnt hair will be replaced to near original healthy condition. I thought i was happy with her creative results, turns up it was a HUGE failure. I will not and do not recommend LUX SALON.
