During the 30 minutes we met with her, she was able to point out all the important things that we can do to make learning fun and exciting. For the first couple of months, I didn't feel too much differences but about after 6 months I could notice that my kid's academic achievement started to show. The director Mrs. Hahn does really care for each kid, like a mom. I don't know other learning centers ever do that. After the diagnosis test, she exactly knew at what level my kid belonged to. Since the course materials were designed with diverse range of levels, my kid started at the exact right level and kept advanced to next level one by one. We knew we were on the right track, when less than a month after starting with their reading program, she lost her reluctance to even try to read. Till then, she'd hide under the furniture when she was supposed to read. Soon, with new confidence and enjoyment of reading, she started making noticeable progress at school. Now, after roughly 3 months not only is he finding it much more enjoyable to learn to read, but he's even one of the more advanced readers in his class. I've seen improvements in his handwriting. His spelling is still pretty bad, but he went from refusing to even attempt to write anything to now he is at least willing to sound things out and write things out phonetically. His only complaint about some of the tutors is that they make him do his work (which is exactly their job- I would not be as happy if they were not doing that), but overall he likes everyone there.
