Everytime i go here i get misdiagnosed or half-a** answers. One time i was even in an ambulance to the ER and the paramedic said "dont use hartsdale citymd they're terrible" The only time they diagnosed me right was flu and covid. Other times like recently i was told everything was fine yet perscribed antibiotics and i told the doctor "why would i take it if you say im fine?" So then doctor told me to see my specialist doctor. The receptionist staff are great never problem with them, its just the doctors. I'd rather go to ER or find next closest urgent care that takes my insurance instead keep going back to this sh*thole. read more

I had a terrible experience. I went to them because I tested positive for Covid and am immune compromised. So I needed to get some safe antivirals meds. The Doctor there refused to help me literally told me to Go see my pcp. I told her I came to urgent care because I need urgent care my pcp will not be able to see me right away. She refused to help me. Told me she knew me for five minutes and wasn't going to prescribe anything for me. Even though my daughter that is a provider told her of a safe antiviral medication. She proceeded tell my daughter"well you prescribe it to her. My daughter told her it was unethical for her to prescribe her own mom. Very rude and unprofessional service. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to urgent care last night to get an inhaler for my asthma. The doctor was rude to begin with but she prescribed the asthma pump I need. I went to cvs to get the prescription and they did not have it in their record. I then called the urgent care the next morning to have it transferred to a different pharmacy that is 25 minutes away from home. I get to the pharmacy 25 minutes from home and this pharmacy does not have record of the prescription. I called the city md to verify the prescription was sent. After being put on hold and transferred about 4 times, the lady says they lost my file and the doctor is not there. I ask when the doctor will be in and she replied I don't know. This is not a cough or a headache I'm dealing with, this is asthma and breathing issues. This place is very unprofessional and disorganized. read more

Female doctor has no compassion/empathy and is unprofessional. What a complete waste of time. Waited over 30 minutes in the room for the doctor to come in after my vitals were checked even though the place wasn't crowded. I came in because I suspected I had a blocked tear duct (tried every over the counter hack and ruled out normal allergies). The whole doctor visit was probably less than 5 minutes. She shined a light in my eyes and made me follow her finger with my eyes and then said they couldn't do anything for me here and that she wasn't sure what was wrong but told the medical assistant to put the visit under blocked tear duct. I asked if this visit would be a charge/would be covered under insurance even though she didn't really do anything today which maybe offended her because she proceeded to talk down to me as if I was a child and say well live in a world where it's give me this give me that and unfortunately we can't always get what we want. I just wanted to get out of there already and not have more of my time wasted while they discussed what to put the visit under even though she didn't have any answers and told me to go see another doctor. The least she could have done is apologized for there not being anything they could do and be a little more compassionate instead of pretend to know what was going on and then be demeaning. I hope someone tells that to her too next time she's in pain/discomfort. read more

Stopped into this CityMD to have my foot checked out for a possible infection. Dr. Hong was incredibly kind and empathetic. He went above and beyond to ensure I was able to see a specialist ASAP and called me a few days (on his day off!) later to see how I was feeling. Props to Kassidy the manager as well, it's not an easy job she's got and the location is doing the absolute best it can to serve the community. Expect long waits as the staff are giving every patient the individual attention they deserve - you will want the same when you're in the exam room. Thank you to all CityMD staff for their hard work during this crazy 2 year stretch. You guys are undervalued and underappreciated. Fellow patients, please keep this in mind when visiting any business these days, everyone is struggling and being nasty and impolite isn't helping anyone, even if you are sick. Kindness and empathy to all in the new year. P.S. - Why wait hours at CityMD for COVID testing when there are dozens of places to get tested? The billing department no sends emails to pay a bill. Trying to get agent to discuss charges is impossible. Putting your number to have an agent calk us a waste of time. I felt sick at home, so I did a at home Covid test. Came up positive. Went to city md to make sure. They do the test and say it's negative. I go back and take to more test from different companies both positive. They are using expired test or do not know how to do the test right. After that went to same day health on Mamaroneck Ave and they did a test and that was positive. How 4 out of five say positive and there's says negative does not make sense. I went to this city md for the first time several weeks ago. The place was empty which was a plus and has ample parking. The check in process was simple at the kiosk and the attending physician I forgot his name was pleasant and was thorough. The whole time from start to finish was exceptional. Dr misread ECG results and directed me to immediately take 3 baby aspirin, call an ambulance and go to the ER. I agreed, the ambulance came, band the EMTs said that my ECG results were "fine" and said I was ok to drive home. The next day, I went to the a cardiologist who agreed that the ECG results from Urgent Care were fine. The cardiologist did another ECG, fine, and blood work. Everything was 100% within normal ranges. Don't go here. read more

Having had weird palpitations for a day, next morning I called doctor's office and nurse told me to go to nearest Urgent Care or emergency room. I had a gut feeling urgent care was needed. I had never been to one and this one was near me. Thank God I did. I was having heart failure! Before I realized it doctor had ambulance, EMT's, police car there in minutes. Hospital was waiting for me. They had to jump start my heart twice before it went into normal sinus rhythm. I almost died. Evidently I was born with a defect which they fixed. I can't say enough about that doctor's quick action. I wouldn't be here had it not been for that doctor. I highly recommend them and would go back if needed. I was so impressed. I registered on the portal for a Covid test and was told I'd get a text to come when it was my turn. After getting the text and arriving 10 min later, I waited a full hour. So their portal system does not work. I specifically asked for a PCR test and not a rapid and explained that my primary care physician had suggested I get the PCR. Later that afternoon I got an email with my rapid results so I called and was told they had run both. After a week I still didnt have the PCR results so called again and was told the doctor never ordered one and it's too late now. I spoke to the manager and reiterated my conversation with the nurse who showed me to the room and checked my vitals- that I only wanted a PCR on advice from my phsyician. The manager told me what test is ordered is at the discretion of the doctor and he must not have felt it necessary to do a PCR. Which was NEVER communicated to me at any point, and in fact I was told twice they were going to do a PCR as requested. I will never go back there. Scary that they can run whatever test they want and not tell you. read more

The worst City MD I've been to and with that said I live in Queens NY so I'd figure a place outside the city limits would be a lot better. Prior coming to this office I notice another urgent care next door across the street and thought about going there but figured all the City MD's I been to were great experiences so I figured why waste my time going to another place. I walked into this location and they said it's a two hour wait. That's very unacceptable for being an urgent care for one. But I was fine with this since I was in no rush and just needed blood work done. Two hours I get my text to come back and I did. Then I waited another hour in the office. The assistant came in to take my information at which point she said we can't do your blood work here and to leave. She stated the front desk told her I was here for a COVID test. I asked her who said that because I never said that. She then waves for me to leave the office. Very disrespectful and for me to waste 3 hours of my day here. Like I said not all locations are like this but this one I will never come back to. Arrived at 8:00 for a rapid covid test. There was a line, I put my name down and was told to come back. I received a text saying come back and have now been waiting for 2.5 hours for a 20 second test. If I didn't need this to go back to work I would walk out. They can't even explain what is taking so long. My son went to a place in the city and was in and out in 1/2 hour even though there was a line as well. read more

I am calling out Dr Saif Khan at City MD in Hartsdale for providing my son inferior anti-persons-of-color care. This afternoon my 22-year-old son went to CityMD because he has been sick for a week with a chest infection. He had waited 6 days before going to make sure the chest and sinus infection could not be brought under control with over-the-counter medications. It could not. So today he went. Dr Saif Kahn NEVER asked him about his history of taking antibiotics. Dr. Saif Kahn NEVER tested him to determine whether the infection was bacterial versus viral. Instead, Dr. Saif Khan told my son AND my husband - both black men - about fungus infections in hospitals that result from over use of antibiotics. When my husband asked if that was a local problem, Dr Saif Khan said it was not. But still, because of this generalization, Dr Saif Khan refused to issue my son the antibiotics he needs. Why is this an issue? Because this is the treatment people of color - brown and black folks - get. When my husband had hip replacement surgery, they refused to give him pain killers. When I - a white woman - had shingles, they could not give me pain killers fast enough. When I called to complain, CityMD said they had no complaints on record. Why should they? People who are sick rarely have the energy to complain, and people of color are way too accustom to inferior care - BUT I AM A WHITE WOMAN and I made them listen. Please help me amplify this story. This is the best urgent care I have ever been to. I went there to get tested for the flu. The minute you walk in the staff is very friendly and helpful. Such an easy check in/out process. The nurse and doctor were very nice and extremely helpful. Not to mention very clean inside. Highly recommend this location and urgent care. read more
