Drove way out of my way to get an X-ray because the website said they had that capability there, I wasn't told until I was in the room that they in fact did not. My daughter as well as myself have been to this facility 2 times within 6 months to have the covid test done . Both times we were told our rapid test results will be done in 30 to 60 mins and our results would be emailed to me ! We never got our results the day we went . I called and explained we needed the results immediately to send her coach , I was told I would have to come in to get print out or wait until they fix the issue . A few years back i got tested for covid, they didn't let me know the results were positive until a week later i was already moving into college. Decided to give them another shot got tested for strep on thursday, was told that it was negative, lived my life and now 5 days later getting results that i do have strep. I visited this location back in May, and I would give it 0 stars if I could. I waited for over 2 hours to even be called in, and waited another 30 minutes to see a doctor. I had a bad sore throat, the doctor tested me for strep and covid (both negative) then sent me on my way with a script for antibiotics. I wasn't at all satisfied with my visit, and then my condition worsened the next day. I went to a primary care physician and turns out I had MONO. Can I give zero stars? This location of CityMD gave a Covid false positive to my friend on 12/22, My friend contacted everyone she came in contact with including me and basically cancelled Christmas. After she re-tested twice negative I tested negative all at other Covid Non City MD locations the County and State had to be notified, AND still be monitored by the State with a negative COVID test. Problem is the negative test result that went to the person who they mixed up the test swabs and names was really POSITIVE! Think about that, Unacceptable.. please do not go here. read more

I felt bad doing this because originally I gave this place a five star review and up until last week, my husband and I always had no issues here. Usually the doctors are great, I find the staff courteous and the nurses kind. The wait time is also very short. However, misdiagnosis of someone is pretty irresponsible as a doctor. I woke up with trouble breathing and a slight temperature. I was experiencing pain around my rib cage. The waiting room was empty, so I was seen quickly. The nurse was great, she did a flu swab and it was negative. I told her and the doctor several times about the pain and trouble breathing, the doctor said my lungs were clear and I said but you don't want to do a chest X-ray. She said I had a flu like virus and sent me home with tamaflu. Fast forward a week later....I couldn't breathe and the pain was so bad I couldn't speak. Long story short doctors in the emergency room confirmed I have a pneumonia and had it the whole time. If the doctor would have listened to me, she would have had me avoid a trip to the hospital and another week off of work. Very unfortunate but I hope I she listens to her patients in the future. read more

Went on a Friday for a rapid COVID test. Arrived at 7:40am (they opened at 8am). I thought I arrived early. I was wrong. There were already around 80ish people ahead of me. You stay on the line to have your name and number taken. This alone took about an hour. You are put on a list and told that you will receive a phone call (from a blocked number) in approximately 6-9 hours to return and be seen (I was at the end of the line so I think that is why they said 6-9 hrs. I am sure people who arrived earlier had faster ETA times). I was also told they would be give me 15 minutes, from the time I received the phone call, to return to CityMD and check in. They said they would be strict with times. Arrive in 17 minutes and you won't be seen. I live close so I was able to go home. After me, they only put 15 more people on the list until "further notice", if they had space. I received a phone call at 6:10pm and was told I had 10 minutes to return to CityMD (not the 15 minutes I was told in the morning). Fortunately I made it in time. I checked in on the kiosk. There are wipes and hand sanitizer next to it. They are not actively wiping the kiosk down , so you have to make sure you wipe down the iPad after you are done using it (like when you have to wipe down machines at the gym). I was brought into the exam room at about 6:40pm and was out by 7:10pm. I received my results within 20 minutes. All in all it was pretty smooth sailing. Just get there early. People arrived at the office at around 6pm while I was waiting in the waiting room, but the staff had to inform them that they could not be seen and had to return the next day. They still had not gone through the list from the morning so they were not able to be seen. Arrive early! If you don't want to wait all day for a phone call or can't get to the location early in the morning to be put on the list, I suggest making the trip to a CityMD in NYC. My sister went to a CityMD in the city at 7pm and was seen by 9:30pm. Yes you have to physically wait in line longer, but you can arrive later and still be seen. I suggest this if you really need to get a COVID test that day. Make the trip. It was worth it for her. I don't know which location in the city she visited but they have a ton and seem to be quicker. read more

Absolute worst, waited over an hour to be seen. The receptionist failed to alert anyone that there is only one doctor. Meanwhile, checked in before the person after me and they were seen before me. I would rate this place negative stars if i could. I had gone here initially because I was sick. Sore throat, ear ache, fever, lost my voice, and congested like no tomorrow for 2 weeks. Got prescribed antibiotics and got better. A month later a random cough started where i would have episodes of hacking cough for a good 20 minutes where i couldnt stop to the point i had chest pain from coughing. I was finishing a bag of halls in 3 days. Granted i had no fevers or congestion I held off for more than a month but my cough just wouldnt go away so decided to come here again because conveniently theyre open on weekends. But all they said was I needed an inhaler and due to cold weather it causes reactive airways and cough. I suggested an Xray and doctor said she felt i didnt need it but if i still have it after trying the inhaler to come back... I got charged a copay then they gave me discharge instructions explaining a healthy lifestyle, basically calling me fat and giving me instructions on how to lose weight. I find this so wrong in all levels! Do not go here, would NOT recommend this location to anyone. read more

Had such a horrible first & LAST time experience at CityMD/Wayne lastnight. Called them 20-30 mins before 8pm (closing time) to confirm if they do car accident claims & was told " Yes, we do, if you'd like, you can come in tonight and as long as your here and registered before 8, we will see you". So I rushed over with my kids in the rain and quickly got there and registered all before 8. My daughter and I were called back by the nurse to have our vitals checked. We were involved in a pedestrian hit and run where my foot was ran over and my daughter and the cart she was in were bumped (nothing too serious)- 2 nights before.Then, Dr. Shar Kennett, walked in with such hostile energy and said "Well if you want to get checked you and your daughter need to get undressed NOW, we need to hurry this up"..So, I said sure no problem and as she and the nurse started to walk out she turned around and said "You're here for a car accident right? Why are you HERE ?? You like fine to me!" I asked her why the hostility? And her reply was "Because I am confused as to why you are here? You're walking just fine I see nothing wrong! & if your daughter got hurt, do the right thing..go to the hospital!!" As I started to explain to her what actually happened (bc mind you, she never even spoke to me first to find out what occurred night of the accident) I told her my lawyer advised me take my daughter and myself to the urgent care to get an exam to make sure everything was ok and have it recorded. Dr. Kennett then called me a liar and told me " no your lawyer did not advise that" and I gladly offered her my lawyers contact info then she yelled "Well, are you going to listen to your lawyer or a doctor?!" and stormed out of the room as I was trying to talk to her. I have never in my life and countless dr/hositpal/urgent care visits, have encountered such an awful experience! It was clear as day that this Dr. Kennett was upset from the very beginning because she had to stay past closing to see me when the staff told me to come in!! & Based off this doctors reviews online, she has poor ratings for similar reasons. I was super hesitant to come in here because of the negative reviews, but I felt like death and this was the closest place so I dragged myself here! I was shocked how great it was! Every step of the way was awesome! Check-in was super easy, I was shown to the room and the nurse came right away and he was awesome! I loved the doctor! Super honest and a teacher! The first time I came here they were great. Super quick and the Med assistant and doctor were wonderful. Every time I have been back since has been worse. Culminating in my three hour wait today followed by the absolute RUDIST medical assistant Ashley or something I've ever dealt with in my life. I know they were slammed and working with customers I get we all get frustrated but she even at one point raised her voice at me. She asked me if I had finished my albuterol inhaler since I had came in on Friday...uh no...then harassed me about coming in for a cold when the system says covid...mind you there's no place in the electric sign-in system put what you want to be seen for. So of course she preps the doctor before she even comes in to see me and the doctor is like you've got a cold it's not gone in three days after just looking at my throat and having me breathe with my mask on...cool I have a I cold...do these people not work with patients who also work?! I'm sick on Friday I get sent for a covid test...covid negative I have to go back to work on Monday and I'm still sick so I get sent back to urgent care where I get treated like an ignorant moron after sitting in the waiting room three hours absolutely miserable sneezing coughing and snotty in my damn mask. No doctors note for work but no worries I'm in the ER currently taking a breathing treatment because shocker I have pneumonia in my lower lung lobes. Will never be back. Dr. Alison Lam was grossly inappropriate and rude during my visit. I am a healthcare professional myself and went in with some concerns that I thought could be considered relatively concerning. Her first words to me when walking into the room were "your symptoms are all over the place. You're better off just going to your primary physician." She then proceeded to be condescending in her tone when asking me about my concerns and symptoms, as if I were exaggerating or lying. She asked me "what do you think is going on?" regarding my concerns. If I Knew what was going on why would I be at an urgent care facility? She then mocked me to the medical assistant in the room and kept looking at him to have him validate her sarcastic tone. When she recommended testing she proceeded to tell me that it was "overkill." I was made so uncomfortable that my blood pressure reading from the initial reading to the end of the visit went up significantly. I have never been treated with such disrespect and I will never return. Also, on another note, I find it quite unprofessional for an MD to be wearing yoga pants, an athletic T-Shirt, and sneakers, in any type of healthcare facility. read more

This is the worst urgent care I have ever been too. The staff is so beyond rude and two of the rude women at the front desk were not even wearing masks!!!! They were obnoxious angry and totally unhelpful!!!!! The place was also dirty and gross and the doctor misdiagnosed me!!!!!! Go anywhere but here!!!!!! Watching my partner suffer with Covid hacking, sore throat, fever, and exhaustion from lack of sleep because the doctor he saw decided he "wasn't sick enough" to be prescribed an anti-viral and his cancer he survived years ago wasn't enough of a concern. This diagnosis, despite two Teledoc physicians urging him earlier in the day to seek out immediate in-person services to receive an anti-viral. The female doctor he saw "tsk tsked" him for not having a primary care doctor to follow up with and appeared to deny him the antiviral as a punishment for not seeing a doctor regularly. This is none of her concern. You were presented with a sick patient whose symptoms you could have alleviated, but your high horse wouldn't allow it. We followed mask rules for years, got all three of our shots, and did the right things we were asked to do. Our tax dollars paid for the research that produced this antivirals. THEY ARE OURS. Shame on you for withholding proper care. If you want to be treated by doctors that look to alleviate symptoms and care for you, skip this location. They'll only make you feel like a child and give you a lecture. read more

Went in because I needed a last minute Rapid Covid Test to get into the Yankee Game. I was scrambling to find a place in the area that offered the rapid and that could see me quickly. I ran over to here after calling to see if there was any line. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had at any urgent care. From start to finish this experience took less than 30 minutes. I received my results within 20 minutes via email. I wish I got the nurses name so I could mention her specifically because she was so incredibly professional and kind, I enjoyed our small chat. It's a shame there are so many bad reviews from when the world was in a state of crazy and lines were long, I'm sure they were doing the best the could with seeing everyone for testing - based on my experience, it seems like things have returned to normal here, meaning no long lines. I wouldn't shy away from here if your need of care quickly. read more

I came in here because I thought I had strep throat. There was no wait and the staff was very friendly and courteous. They took a culture. I didn't have strep throat but just a bad sore throat. The doctor explained the differences between strep and a regular sore throat and gave me an information packet about it. Got better in a few days.
