As we drove up, the artfully arranged front exterior beckoned us to discover the treasures awaiting within. We entered and we were in awe. It was beautifully decorated; we did not know where to direct our attention! Everything was tastefully arranged and priced reasonably. There were more items in the back and outside to the rear of the building. We met and chatted with Irma and Trish. They were so sweet and friendly. You can expect superb customer service from them. They're only open once a month since they do have full-time jobs. Irma used to sell out of her house! It's easy to tell the love and attention she readily gives to this absolutely gorgeous shop! Both Irma & Trish love what they do. We had so much fun speaking with them as they were so exuberant! They sold all sorts of Christmas decor, the variety was amazing! I bought some vintage ornaments for my grandson's tree and snowman decor for me. There were so many things I wish I could buy but I live in such a small house with no place to display these treasures. My friend and I had a nice experience here and can't wait to return!

All were returned. Did a search and found Love Light & Energy. After a quick drive there from Escondido and one wrong bumpy road ( more on that later, we entered Terry's wonderland. We told her what we were looking for and she quickly led us through her crystal jungle. I never knew there were so many types of moonstone. After about 45 minutes, we had what we needed. We will be back. WARNING: the map program took us to the wrong road. She said this happens often and has been unable to correct it. The turn into the shops is just to the south of where the problem told us to make. We ended up on a very bad road. There is a small white sign at the driveway.

It is located in Valley Center, so be prepared for your trek. I always go with plenty of snacks, food and water. Having celiac means the food tents will not have options for any food restrictions, but maybe if you're lucky you can get a lemonade for $13 or something. Be prepared to shell out exorbitant amounts for any purchases. The pumpkin patch is a great place to get fall pictures, but the prices are wild. The rides are about $5 each for a minute or two. The bounce obstacle course was $5 for three times running through. It was unreasonable. The gift shop sold the cheapest temu crappy toys for $20!! Buy you're own toys at Walmart and bring them with you to keep the kids happy. I can buy junk on my own. The nuts and candy and dried fruits are probably the only thing I am ok with buying. It's about the price of Sprouts or Whole Foods. I'll usually buy my kiddo a treat and steer him away from the insanity of the price tags of the crappy toys and we're good to go. I buy my pumpkins at target though.

I've done several articles of clothing from here that I really loved. There is plenty of street parking around, and you can walk to other stores and restaurants just a ways down the street. About 5 years ago, I was in Julian with girlfriends instead of my husband and we went inside. First of all, Kathy is such a sweet lady and so is the other gal with the small dog. They are both very nice and helpful! They have dresses, pants, tops, jackets, cute clocks up high, and some cute gift items. Through this shop, I was turned onto Jess & Jane brand tops, which I love (along with some other nice brands). Jess & Jane are often 100% cotton (yeah!) and are made in the USA (big applause). Every time we visit Julian (once or twice a year), I come in here and almost always find something. They also typically have a sale rack out on the front porch. They have a nice little dressing room so that you can try things on before buying. Check this place out on your visit!

She found a very nice dress for me to wear and was even willing to hem it if necessary. Thankfully, it didn't come to that. She also helped me find a great necklace to go with my new outfit. I had already paid by the time I realized I didn't have earrings to match. Kathy gave me a pair of earrings to take with me. I just can't say enough good things about her. The outfit turned out to be better than the one I forgot at home. She really came through in a pinch, and I'll be forever grateful.
