Upon discovering a manufacturers defect in our siding that was put up in 2021, I contacted Chris (owner). He stopped here that day to see the siding. He explained he had it happen to 2 other houses during covid... but not as bad as mine. The other homeowners probably saw this sooner than I did. Long story short, Chris contacted the company that made the siding.... followed up every step if the way, including ordering the siding once it was approved as warranty work, and scheduling the repairs. As soon as the siding arrived, Chris put me on the schedule the following Monday (EVEN THOUGH HE WAS GOING TO BE AWAY ON VACATION!!!). His emloyees showed up at 8 am Monday, worked all day, returned Tuesday and completed the job by lunch time. Chris was in touch with his foreman WHILE HE WAS ON VACATION, making sure the job was done!!!! Amazing dedication to his customers. Edit to say: Chris just reached out via text and said someone will call back. ... We hired CJ Scotti LLC in early July to replace some melted siding. The workers were friendly and quick and they did a great job with that and so we went ahead and asked them to fix a larger problem with a leaky roof. Partway through the job, CJ himself came over and recommended that we raise up part of a roof, held up by a post on our front porch that he thought had settled down into the ground over the years. I asked how this would affect the curb appeal and he said "you won't even know we were there." The price was $2000 more than we had been verbally quoted by the foreman, and unfortunately nails left around the job caused my neighbors to have a popped tire. Chris was incredibly rude to our neighbor, he backhandedly accused her of trying to scam them, but he eventually agreed to pay for one of 2 replaced tires, and they not received a check from them. Furthermore, I had to go all around and pick up nails and shards of metal after they left to prevent further damage to my or my neighbor's cars tires. Raising the porch roof really opened a can of worms. There are gaps now between where the ceiling and siding should have met, new pieces of wood left unpainted and instead of screwing the wood pieces together tight, they left a gap and filled it in with caulk to hide the gaps. Finally, after about 3 weeks we noticed a board under our newly repaired roof had popped up, exposing a new gap in the roof big enough for rain and small critters to get into. I've called and left 3 messages for Chris and have not heard back, and am getting pretty scared that I won't hear back from them again to at minimum repair the hole in my roof. Cannot reach the rep nor the company! The person that was to do my estimate never called when thet did not show up as planned. Came the next day and measured our roof said he would have the estimate the next day that was over a week ago no further communication from "Pete" tried to call the company number mail box is full and email does not work. We hired CJ Scotti to replace a roof with leak damage and trim on the side of the house blown off during a storm. While repairing the roof they left a very large hole from either stepping through or dropping materials onto it. They did not mention this and claimed they hadn't noticed when the damage was brought to their attention. The work they did on the trim was absolutely awful and unprofessional. Roger, who was in charge of the project, promised to return in a few days to repair the damage and fix the trim. This was 6 weeks ago. Over 10 phone calls were made to him and only two were returned with Roger promising to set something up in a few days. He never made further contact or showed up to fix their damage. Today- unprofessional lack of communication. Staff didn't care about safety around them.

We contacted CJ Scotti in the morning. Roger called me within an hour and we set up for him to come that afternoon to give us an estimate on replacing our house roof and residing our house and garage. Roger suggested they also power wash our porches which came out beautiful, and also to resurface our peeling crumbling foundation paint and stucco. Roger gave us a fair price. The roof was done in a day. The siding, gutters, porch repair, new front porch posts, foundation completely resurfaced took just over 2 weeks. The attention to detail, workers so respectful and hard working and beautiful work made it a pleasure to work with CJ Scotti company. We highly recommend them. Excellent, quality work! read more

I used CJ scotti company to fix a gutter which was falling off my house 6 years ago. CJ did a fast repair, with very reasonable pricing, right before a major rain storm. much appreciated!! I used CJ scotti again just 2 years ago to install gutters and down spouts on the front of my house. As I am still pleased, I now called CJ back again to side the rest of my house with gutters and I have so say, while obtaining other quotes, CJ was right in the park with the pricing and their work performance looks great. Very professional, I contacted Mike for a quote on a new roof and after his inspection and explanation I received a faxed copy the next day. No surprises, everything we discussed was was in this very detailed, easily understood quote and sent on a Saturday! Although the buyers of our home decided to go in a different direction I have no doubt that the work that would have been performed would be outstanding. Extremely unprofessional business. I called to request an estimate and after two messages someone finally responded. Someone came to look at my gutters and said they'd come back to start work that night. Night came and went and no call, no show. I called back a few days later and was told someone would be at my house the next morning at 10. Once again no call, no show. With someone as unreliable as that, I wouldn't want them doing work for me anyway. read more

I had hired another contractor back in November to replace my roof, and he did such a incompetent job that 6 months, the roof was leaking everywhere. Chris has done a lot of work around my town and everyone recommended him very highly, He and his team were extremely professional, assessed the roof situation and recommend alternate solution and fixed the roof. Of course the proof is in the pudding, after fixing the roof, we have had 2 rain storms and not even a single drop of water came into the house through the roof. Great job done.
